Users appreciate the regular updates and the powerful search capabilities that facilitate discoveries. However, concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to billing issues and the difficulty of reaching support. Some users have reported feeling overwhelmed by the volume of information and have encountered challenges in verifying data. Overall, while the service is praised for its features, improvements in customer support and communication are necessary to enhance user satisfaction.

Wonderful in all ways but one. Despite many requests, you STILL insist on calling my ( indisputable) biological Father, my Stepfather. I cannot help but feel it's hurtful, to the memory of a wonderful man.! Otherwise, I find the Site very informative. Thanks.
I was adopted as a baby so it has been very rewarding finding my biological family. Sometimes it has been a little difficult for me to locate family as in p christian name ast years they have given each generation the same christian name. Overall I have found it quite rewarding.
Ich arbeite seit mehr als10 Jahre mit Myheritage habe über 100 Mitglieder
I have greatly enjoyed the site My Heritage and been researching my ancestors far back in time, longer than I could ever have dreamed of had it not been for this site. I am really happy the site exist and I have a much use for it and it has been invaluable in my work.
The new DNA algorithm has completely reconfigured my DNA results, eliminating large percentages of ethnicities. This is quite upsetting.
I started with MyHeritage in 2012 in order to learn more about my American Family, immigrated from Belgium, and discover why my father was born in Pennsylvania but was raised in Belgium.
I especially wanted to discover where my grandfather grave is located. I did all that and after 13 years there are over 5000 people in my tree and adding more as my research progresses. MyHeritage has all the tools I need to do that.
My Heritage has given me the pathways to connect with my past. I did not have the wisdom or maturity to query my parents while they were still alive. Through the data bank of My Heritage, I have been able to link prior generations. It has been an invaluable resource.
MyHeritage is a superior product to Ancestry because it has Auto cluster, triangulation and chromosome browsers which make all the difference in researching Family Trees. It has better reach, clearer screens and easier to understand processes. MyHeritage is more innovative, user-friendly and cheaper than Ancestry. MyHeritage offers 3 DNA tests with free shopping P&P for $127 whereas Ancestry wanted $407 for their 3 tests to be delivered here. MyHeritage was half the price for annual subscriptions and didnt require an extra $17 per month or $100+ for Pro Tools. For these reasons I recommend MyHeritage over Ancestry at this time. The cost for Ancestry for World Access was $445 Plus $100 for ProTools and the test were 3 times more expensive. Though because each hold 40% of DNA test takers you need to test with Ancestry then upload to MyHeritage and unlock the matches for $29NZ as a once only unlock. After 25 years MyHeritage is eating Ancestry's lunch IMHO
Op deze manier kom je dingen te weten waar je eigenlijk helemaal geen weet van had. Geweldig!
Hat meine Ahnenforschung weitergebracht. Auch die DNA Suche war einmal erfolgreich.
Poor Customer Service. No one seemed willing to help me in the least.
MyHeritage opened an entire new world for my family and friends, revealing an history that is mine.
Now that one can no longer upload DNA files from other sites to MyHeritage, its will probably not be worth while renewing. My main use has always been the DNA element - the way trees are organised is clumsy and hard to use, to the point of being annoying, and the search facility has rarely provided anything that wasn't already available fom elsewhere
My husband tried to access our My Heritage account from his computer to review his DNA matches and you denied access to our account for 24 hours. Not impressed.
Ihre Verwandtschaftsangaben waren alle sehr exakt und zutreffend.
I was hoping for more world wide records. There are some but they are sparse.
Very good and satisfied. Helpful information provided always. Got to know my family roots!
You provide us with lots of opportunities to review potential updated and/or additional information on our family history. Love it
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team (support@myheritage.com).
Answer: If you are looking to get as many connections to your tree that you can, use My Heritage. If you want flexibility in who is added to your tree, use Ancestry.
Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
