“This company is a fraud”

I bought an airline ticket on My Flight Search. WestJet cancelled my flight and notified me that they had rejected the confirmation as fraudulent as a stolen credit card had been used to pay them. When I phoned My Flight Search they just played stupid. They said they credited me back the ticket price to my credit card. I have seen nothing on my card. Reading their reviews, this seems to be a common practice. They should be shut down. I only rated them one star as there is nothing lower.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! There. I warned you. You will most likely lose your money like my son.

Products used:
Plane ticket. But they canceled it. And have not returned my son’s money.

Two months ago I booked a flight that I had to cancel the same day. I received notification saying "Booking cancelled with no cancellation fee" I am yet to receive the fee paid. I have contacted customer reps and sent numerous emails. To date, not one CSR has contacted me.

Booking my flight was easy, so for that the site gets 4 stars. But because of Covid, the flight was cancelled. I was told that my refund would be credited to my credit card with 21-28 business days. Day 28 has come and gone and two emails to Customer Service requesting an update have gone unanswered. For that the site gets 0 stars. Go somewhere else to book your travel.

After posting my scathing review of MyFlightSearch on this website, as well as another website, and filing a dispute with my credit card for MFS nondisclosure of "Agent Fees," MFS contacted me and promised to refund my $1802. 06. In fact, they did do as promised and on August 22,2018, the refund appeared on my credit card account.

Thought I was calling EVA air direct and somehow got routed to MyFlightSearch. I asked the first alleged "agent", if my call is going directly to EVA air and he told me that he does the flight booking for EVA air. This "agent's" English was so bad, I could not understand him. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was handed of to "supervisor" Bennett. He spoke fluent English and went ahead and booked me on the flights I had designated. Mind you, I am still thinking this is EVA air. Bennett then went over my itinerary with me and explained the fares I would be paying for the 5 segments of my trip. I asked that he find a lower fare on my Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City portion, as I was willing to book a nonrefundable ticket, which would cost less. Bottom line is they did book the flights, but when I looked at my credit card, they charged me an additional $1802. 06 for an agent fee! Beware folks they hide this fee inside the alleged "E-Ticket" language they send you. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE, like I did

I called MyFlightSearch because the number popped up under Alaska Airlines phone number. I thought it was strange when the guy didn't have any of my information after I gave him my confirmation number, usually Alaska has all of it. It was extremely confusing to book everything the way I wanted and the rep kept interrupting me when I'd try to talk. I kept asking, "are you Alaska Airlines, or a third party?" and the guy insisted he was an overflow line for Alaska Airlines, so I went with it. All in all it was extremely confusing and overall a very difficult process. After I booked I felt sick, like I had just given my information to a scammer... They provided confirmation emails with me on the phone and everything seemed legit. The only problem was when I finished my tickets weren't anywhere to be found. So I called back, and I got hung up on immediately. I then called Alaska direct and they had no idea of anything I had just done. I started to panic a little, I called myflightsearch again and someone picked up this time and transferred me to my original booking representative. He was very kind and walked me through the entire process, and all of the flight information showed on my Alaska account with the changes and pricing we had reviewed. It's been a few hours since I've booked and so far everything STILL looks good. I'm still not sure exactly what this site is or why it would be more convenient than calling the airline direct. In the end it seems like it worked, but if you don't want a scare or frustrations, I'd recommend calling direct.

Apparently the super saver fare prices promoted by My Flight Search, are not fully reserved at the time of one first booking online. They do post online the fact that confirmation of one's booking is required by phone. They called us one day after our online booking to tell us the 2nd leg (stop) out on departure no longer has super saver fares. That added $223 cost to each ticket by them switching to an alternative Delta flight. Still it was a little cheaper booking through Priceline, Expedia and Airticket which were all over $600 for the same flight stops and dates. If you do not like messing around, best look elsewhere if you are in hurry or desperate.

Waiting almost 2 months now on my refund and I still haven't received it. I myself would not recommend myflight search because they will tell you one thing and it doesn't happen. They keep pushing the date back on when I'm supposed to receive my refund

Went with this company because I was attending a destination wedding, the agent was very nice(KIRK) I explained to the representative that I needed to use two different cards to pay for my ticket. He explained" that won't be a problem" which was recorded( all conversation are recorded) and he confirmed it. After booking was completed and bill was received I noticed that my account was overdrawn. I inform them that an error was made and only one card was used and it caused my car to be overdrawn. I sent email to both the rep and customer service informing them of this. I was advised that my account would be refunded the amount that was overdrawn, and was told that it will take a week. Today makes one week and my account has not been refunded. I feel that this company is only concerned with making money, but customer satisfaction is not a priority. Next time I will book flight directly from airlines to avoid incompetency.

I made a booking on October 21st then realized we could not travel as planned. I called and cancelled the trip the very same day and was told that the money would be refunded within 3-5 days. On October 22nd, I noticed that, instead of refunding the money, they actually charged me AGAIN (over $1400 US)! I have made numerous phone calls and sent several emails, and have been told 3 more times that the refund would be in my bank in 3-4 days (which it never was). Very frustrating and expensive.

TYPED IN JET BLUE AND THEIR NUMBER POPPED UP SO OF COURSE I ENQUIRED IF I WAS TALKING TO JET BLUE AND WAS TOLD YES, THEY'RE THE CONSOLIDATORS WHO BOOK JET BLUE VACATION PACKAGES. I WAS NAIVE TO BUY THAT STUPIDITY. ANYWAY, BECAUSE THE GENTLEMAN WAS SO VERY NICE AND PATIENT I WENT ALONG AND BOOKED THE PACKAGE WITH HIM. SO MANY THINGS WERE PROMISED TO ME, THE BEST SEAT WITH ALL THREE FAMILY MEMBERS SITTING IN MORE LEG ROOM SECTION ON OUTBOUND AND RETURN FLIGHTS. WHEN THE ITINERARY WAS EMAILED TO ME NEXT DAY, NOTHING OF THE SORT. WE WERE IN THE BACK OF THE PLANE ON BOTH FLIGHTS. I NOTICED A TEXT MESSAGE FROM EXPEDIA ON MY EMAIL AFTER BOOKING WAS COMPLETE SO I ASKED THE GENTS IF HE WAS EXPEDIA OR WORKED FOR THEM AT WHICH HE REPLIED "NO, I DO NOT WORK FOR EXPEDIA. I GOT SUSPICIOUS AND CALLED THEM TO CANCEL FLIGHT. THEY SAID THEY CANT DO IT, THE ORIGINAL GENTLEMAN HAS TO DO IT. HE'D CALL ME BACK BUT HE NEVER DID. EVENTUALLY, HE CALLED AFTER I CALLED AGAIN TO INSIST I WANTED OUT. HE TRIED TO CONVINCE WHY HE CANNOT DO IT. WORST OF ALL THERE WERE SO MANY CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD FROM PLACES I HAD NO CONTACT WITH! THEY'RE REALLY A SCAM. LEARNED MY LESSON WELL!

Booked with them and received nearly immediate confirmation that included saying etickets would arrive shortly. That was about 6pm. By 9 am the next morning - no eticket, though credit card was charged. I then emailed asking when I could expect my eticket -- no response. Just before noon I called their number, was placed in a call que for several minutes then asked to leave my name and number for call back -- by about 3pm had not received email or call back, so began digging and found these mostly bad review. Emailed immediately saying I was cancelling the booking per the 24 hour cancellation period. Had a response within an hour, and this morning found their charge had already been reversed -- so that part went fine. Given other reviews, I don't think I would use them again. Not sure if they are not fully legit or just not very competent. Either way, I'm out.

I made a booking for flights from Vancouver to Los Cabos on Aug. 18,2017. I received confirmation that my booking was complete. When trying to make ground transportation reservations I was informed that we were not on the booked flights. I called MyFlightSearch. They told me that they had tried to contact me by e-mail to ask me if I wanted the flights for a higher price. I did not see these emails and did not provide a response. They then cancelled the booking without charging my card. I had to make new bookings with another booking agent that completed the booking and send me the e-tickets. One can not trust MyFlightSearch and they hope to hook you and sell you the bookings at a higher price. That is dishonest and misleading.

Firstly, i'm mistakenly thought this was Southwest when I dialed the number online. When purchasing my ticket a different card holder purchased my ticket. This company asked for us to send a copy of the card holders ID and credit card showing the last four digits - this was an odd request because usually companies don't ask for such items, however we appreciated the request because it lessens the chance of identity theft. Once the ticket was purchased we receive the confirmation from this company of our purchase and fight information however we did not receive a confirmation from the airline I didn't think much of it. So I called the airline to change my seats because have a preference of seating. When I called the airline they set my flight doesn't exist that was shocking to say the least. So I called the company back and explain to them with that airline company said. A different representative got on the phone and then said oh we need a copy of your ID to complete the purchase well I explained to her the first representative did not say we need it out ID they said just the last four digits of your card. Long story short we did not receive the flight confirmation so I called the number and no one answered I was concerned because usually company such as this will answer their phone if there are 20 for our business so I called four times and no answer I went to sleep woke up the next day and cold in the morning still no answer. By that time I knew this was a fraudulent act so I called the cardholder and said I think this was a fraudulent act. I decided to call them using my husband cell phone and loan but hole they answered and then my heart sunk because I didn't knew that they were avoiding my calls. Long story short this company is legit they just took way too long to email the flight confirmation in traditional companies you get it instantly this company you going to get it at least 12 to 18 hours after your purchase or lease that was my experience related company again I'm not sure but I know one thing for certain- my experience with them was in a comfortable one to say the least

Mom passed away... got the flight reservation (very reasonable) to go to funeral had to cancel due to corona virus... canceled for free... TAKES 20 TO 40 DAYS TO RECEIVE REFUND! TRIED TO TALK ME INTO A CREDIT FOR A FUTURE FLIGHT! Are you kidding me? Why 20 to 40 days I asked... your system charged me today, l should not have to wait that long!

Received an email stating that my flight was canceled due to the airline not traveling to that location due to the covid 19. Had to change airlines and was charged more. I wasn't able to get a refund but a credit. I had spoken to 6 different CSR and everytime I would ask them why the change the would hang up the phone. And when I would call back and ask to speak to a supervisor, they would tell me they are the supervisor. I do not know what kind of business or CSR you are running but I have to say that this was the worst service I have experienced in a long time
All 6 the CSR I spoke to all had a foreign accent yet they claimed they were all in Nevada?

If you just recently booked your flight with them and then decided to read the reviews after the fact, then we're in the same boat. I just called them and told them I need to cancel my reservation after reading these horror stories. The rep tried to lecture me about how their flights were the cheapest flights, and even tried to transfer me to someone else to book a new one. I politely declined everything but the refund. She said I would receive a cancellation email in 5-10 minutes and that my card had not yet been charged. If they try any nonsense, I will report them as fraudulent to my bank IMMEDIATELY.
