A seller on MyDeal sold me counterfeit goods. I told MyDeal and they did nothing. They also removed my ability to give a negative review of the seller to warn others about the counterfeit goods. And the 'customer service' is BEYOND a joke. I got my refund, but the counterfeit goods seller is still in business scamming others.
I have dealt with Mydeal for years and everything was always so good. A couple of weeks ago I ordered an office massage chair for $159. I had a man come to put it together but He said there was no massager in the chair it was just a chair. Because he was halfway put together I said I would keep the chair. I contacted mydeal and said that they should at least give me a discount as they had them on special for $131. They have done nothing but muck about. This is definitely not a company I will deal with in the future.
Horrible. Scam. Don't do itAbsolute scam of a website. Spent over $400. No contact from seller, was shppied over a week later with a tracking number that doesn't go anywhere. Have contacted the seller, no response, have conracted the company twice. Have been told they need to contact the seller atleast 3 times with 2 business days in between in order to get a refund.
It's now been just under a month and still have no idea where the items are or if/when I will get my money back.

I've used MyDeal for a few years, but my last purchase indicated that things have changed dramatically and very much for the worse.
I purchased shoes that were completely wrong... I've included images of the shoes I ordered and the ones I received.
That started a horribly stressful set of events that involves dealing with two unethical companies rather than one...
There is so much information involved that I'll just say that the providing dealer is a scam, and mydeal just told me they'd closed the ticket since the providing dealer had not heard from me.
They hear from my constantly. I've returned the shoes to them, but it seems that's the last I'll hear of it all.

Do not shop from this website, i got scammed buying an item and it suppose to delivery within MAX 6 days and now im waiting 15days without anything. I have been calling mydeal people all they do is send an email to the seller to request a refund but the seller is not replying. The seller must reply with 2 business days but i am not getting any reply. So basically mydeal customers asked me they cant give me money because i am going through the seller and i have to contact them. My money is gone. I have bough an expensive hollywood vanity of $899 AUD dollars. I have requested for supervisor but they keep saying to schedule a time but no one calls me back. This website is a BIG SCAM. Please be careful, they hide under the safety of big w and Woolworths but this site is a scam. If you open the box you can't get a refund. The product was so cheap and nasty and nothing like the description. And we put it straight back in the box and never used it and now we aren't eligible for a refund because the box is open so it can't be resold. No safety for the consumer. Terrible. I have purchased two things of mydeal and been disappointed both times. You definitely won't get what you think you are getting.
I want to share a cautionary review to warn others about the pitfalls of using third-party services like 'My Deal' for online purchases. This company facilitated the transaction on behalf of the seller, but when I didn't receive the ordered goods or a refund, the company conveniently claimed it was beyond their control. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I was left with neither the product nor a refund.
It's disheartening that 'My Deal' allowed a situation where my money was essentially stolen by Advwin. Shame on 'My Deal' for permitting such practices. Beware and think twice before trusting third-party intermediaries with your online transactions.
Their vendors sell crap products, MyDeal say they will support but they don't. Don't expect to get what you paid for if you buy products on MyDeal. Expect to get your time wasted when you need to chase a refund.
Absolute scam company that refuses to abide by Australian Consumer Law or honour warranties. The business model seems to be to wear down customers until they give up. I bought two office chairs - one which stopped working with a week, the other with a manufacturing fault. I have exchanged 20+ emails and phone calls with this company over FIVE MONTHS.
I have NEVER dealt with a more dishonest seller in my life and this business needs to be de-listed because they do not follow the law. Absolutely disgusted.

You can only judge a retail outlet by the way in which a problem is handled I've always thought, hence the one.
This digital shop front/broker accepts no liability for things gone wrong and gets you to deal with the seller instead of the couriers themselves. Anyone who has an issue with delivery with MyDeal is in for a h$ll of a ride. I've now been sent an email saying they can't help me further and I now have no product and no refund. The Seller actually called Sello can't even communicate properly in english via an email and just answer questions with questions.
I got two emails from MyDeal saying that I hadn't communicated with the seller so they were closing the ticket when in fact I had and even gone to the lengths of finding a direct email address to them and writing an email directly as well as waiting for MyDeal to pass on information.
My advice is don't just don't go there unless you're prepared to lose the product you've paid for and your money as well.
Waited weeks for a refund and I was one of the lucky ones to get a refund, the customer support are based in India they kept giving me the round around so as to not get my refund, they were rude and aggressive on the phone. After speaking to consumer affairs I threatened them with having to breach clause 36 and taking them to magistrate court if they did not give me my money back and then they gave me a refund.They claim they are a market place where there are sellers who are independent of them and they cannot help with refunds, such lies as the refund came from them. An employee told me that most products don't exists and they like to get personal details of customers.
Bought through a seller on MyDeal.com.au. Product didn't perform as described. Seller deemed it a "change of mind", and upon escalating to MyDeal, they took over a week to tell me the exact same thing the seller already did. Kept saying "sorry for the inconvenience", "thanks for your understanding", "your concern is understandable" and similar, yet offered literally no resolution. I'm $189 down with nothing to show for it. Chargeback with the bank in process, and highly likely to proceed with Fair Trading also. Buyer beware.

Purchased a rabbit hutch described as outdoor small animal coup/rabbit hutch and what a total waste of money it was. So flimsy, very poor materials- literally wouldn't withstand any outdoor conditions and even has an uneven bottom and gaps on one side when put together so snakes could easily get in. Floor trays are so fragile they don't slide in and out properly and honestly, the whole thing is so fragile you couldn't put a small animal in it. Paid just under $150 with shipping and the only place it is being shipped from this point on is the dump! Buyers beware of the junk being sold on this site.
Just be careful because these people won't cancel any order and make a trick of, Sorry the Item is dispatched.
I did a request after I placed the item and I cancelled it before even sending it. And I got an email that they received my request but after that, I got an email for dispatching. I contacted them their response was "Sorry we already sent it, You can refund it once you receive" but the refund will be at my cost. I am sure they are lying because the tracking number is not valid. I have never had like this situation with eBay, amazon or Shein.
I have bought many products from MyDeal.com. All have been great value for money & I've never had a problem with delivery. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about!
Purchased a home office chair for my 9am-5pm home office needs.
Chair came advertised as -

Chair arrived and after assembly found it leant back too far so you look over your monitors in a comfortable sitting position unless sitting forward and provides no back support in a normal sitting position.
Advised the support team it is faulty and did not provide any lumber support and was told after sending photos and videos clearly showing how ineffective it was at my desk while typing –
• I need to lose weight
• I should not assemble the product before asking for a refund if it's not as described in the advertisement
• I need to look at the picture which show the back support angle and not read the detailed description of what the chair says it does for back support
• I need to go out and purchase a additional lumber support for a chair that is advertised as providing lumber support
Obviously not happy and $100 spent on about to be land fill waste. Oh, and offered $15 discount refund which never got refunded.
Answer: I simply would never use them again. Catch of the Day or Kogan are great.
