After about a week of e mails back and forth, with no resolution in sight I have decided to escalate this matter to V Cat.
I have called their phone number 03 6120 6121 many times, all you get is a recorded message, "thanks for your call"!
Today is Wednesday 18th. November 2020. On Monday I will start the V Cat process.
Purchased a Maxkon Weather Station in April last year. Three weeks ago the Display console developed a fault - portion of the display ceased to function. Have submitted a warranty claim. They keep asking for videos and more photos and provide troubleshooting procedures which are in the manual and already have been done. The unit is obviously faulty. They keep promising to respond in "X" business days, but do not. They are doing everything possible to either delay or default on their warranty responsibility. Dealing with this Company is an absolute nightmare. Please avoid.
Both items I ordered did not match the product description.
This appears to be a website for very cheap Chinese made products, which would be okay if they advertised it correctly.
In one case, my memory foam mattress protector was too big for its cover, causing it to bunch up. The other item, a feather quilt, had a synthetic cover despite it being advertised as cotton.
Stay away from it!
I have had a delayed response from these people for weeks, I ordered my daughters birthday present being a trampoline and 5 days was the quoted delivery time. It's now been 4 weeks, after several poor communications with my deal I was promised it would be delivered today. Furious is an understatement as all the time they were promising it was on way (even showing as "in transit") on their site, when I called the courier they haven't even taken delivery of it.
Save your money, save the headache just shop local.
Clearly it still isn't delivered and I'm not hearing the faint sounds of a truck in the distance.
Bought two items neither usable. Requested a refund for one, new parts for another two weeks ago. Going around in circles with "customer service" and worn down. Words are twisted in emails and photos/videos sent to drop boxes lost. They constantly seek clarification again and again but no resolution. These people should not be in business.
They did refund my money... but only after threats about going to my bank... there sellers are dodgy.
They give tracking numbers and the status never ever moves from PENDING.
Someone needs to investigate this site.
Has to be the worst online company to try & contact.
There is no where that I could find to call or send an email to find out where the heck my item was.
They sent me a tracking number with the courier listed as "OTHER".
Will never use them again & would highly recommend you think twice before doing the same.
I will never deal with this company again. Ordered goods 10/08/20 due to arrive in 2-5 working days, apart from following day email saying dispatched, which was a lie nothing.
Australia post advised they were getting a parcel from them on 12/08/20.
Have emailed on six separate occasions to no avail. No reply, no goods.
I did order some batteries from Amazon the same week and they arrived one day late and they sent apology email and refunded postage, that is service.
My advice is don't deal with this company,

Ordered a Gen 5 iPad as advertised, received a Gen 4. Immediately advised Mydeal. It then became a "the sellers issue". Stayed home 3 times for a courier "the seller" MD wholesale organised. Eventually collected on a day not booked. Took them 40 days to collect the iPad they advertised incorrectly (I think they were being deceptive and hoping it wasn't noticed) and has now been 13 days since, so 53 days and their "error" is still not fixed. Ruined our Christmas - still waiting to purchase a present
Basically you pay for goods, and you wont receive them! Try getting in contact with them, its easier to get Donald trump on the phone. The advertisers that allow these scammers on their platforms, ie Instagram, Facebook etc you should be ashamed of yourselves as well.
Ordered resistance bands 1 month ago and still have not received purchase. Have emailed My Deal several times and have had my email bounce back. Have rung the phone No. And have waited each time over 30 mins when they cut your phone call.
This raises a great suspicion that they are not a legitimate company and should be reported to consumer affairs.
They take the money out of your account and then are unable to be contacted as there website is very vague about how contact their Help Centre
Do Not waste your time as it will cause great frustration when your parcel does not arrive as is the case with mine
This is an online business which is price gouging. Shortly after I ordered an item online for $409 I found the same thing online from their supplier for $199 and free delivery.
I wanted to cancel the order, then found it was impossible to do because they only work office hours! For an online store.
I fully expect them to reply two days later that the item has already been shipped and cannot be cancelled.
So not only are they price gouging but when you discover they make it impossible to cancel.
This business has very poor ratings on Sitejabber. Not surprising. They pretend to be cheap then make it hard to cancel once they have your money.
No refund given for faulty goods
Hi. Product (phone battery) arrived flat, not working/faulty and was not complete. My deal customer service would not arrange refund or provide a solution. Poor performance. - 1 star.
I left a review and saw that it did add a review to the 1 star section but was not visible, could not see the actual review. Two days later, the 1 star rating was removed so can't see my review only fake ones about a very bad product. I would like to see my review put back there but still they have lost my trust in the reviews that are there at the moment. I highly do not recommend using this site as this practice is unethical.
Brought a BaumrAG Reciprocating saw from Mydeal a couple of days ago and was greatly disappointed with the price the price I was being charged. I paid $99 only to realise that Edison's was selling the same product for $91. I felt a little cheated. Don't believe what they say,. Shop around before committing. They are more expensive than other Online sites.
Absolutely insane shady practices, ordered a replacement battery for my smartphone which was faulty on arrival.
Could not begin the return process. Strategically, misplaced or no links on their website for making the process incredibly frustrating. Had to send a ticket to their support team and their response was equally abysmal.
To top it all off, they insist i must pay return postage for a faulty item. Absolutely the worst online shopping website i have ever seen in my life. Read their Terms & Conditions. STAY AWAY
Appalling customer service and take a long time to respond to queries. Bought surgical mask and received the goods not as described what was advertised. Pay a fortune and received cheap uncertified chinese made products. They are scammers and prey on innocent and genuine buyes. Best con artist online market place.
I bought a 3 piece outdoor setting and the screw is too small for the hole. I contacted them for a return and refund, I couldn't believe it when she replied with "screw it the other way round"! She's (Kathy) is pretty stupid to think that a bolt half the size of a screw head will stop going through a big hole. Absolute dud Chinese furniture and super dodgy Filipino customer service. So office of fair trading and a bank dispute it is. If I could give negative stars then I would.
Don't put trust into this site, they are masters at throwing the problem on you. As tempting as what the sale might look don't waist your money. My motorized awning didn't even last 5 minutes and the motor seized. The brackets which look like they can hold up a concrete slab bent like plastic.
Do not order from this site! I ordered a mattress with delivery timeframe of 3 to 5 business days. Still waiting 13 business days later. They send you an email with a tracking number. Call courier company to find out where the item is and they have not received it and have no idea where it is. Call customer service - wait on hold for an hour and still no one picks up. Send email requesting/demanding a refund, and receive endless responses with apologies and excuses but no action on refund or confirming when item will be delivered. Absolute disgrace! I am going to report them to the retail ombudsman.
Answer: I simply would never use them again. Catch of the Day or Kogan are great.
