It was great ordering from the website and the delivery was made on time considering the size of the furniture i had ordered. Although i was a bit wary in the beginning considering i was ordering from them for the first time but it has been a great experience since i got worth for each penny that i have spent.
I would never do business with this company when your furniture will look over 10 years old in a few short years. That material comes right off. And no the crap warranty they suckered you into will not cover it. Now I have to purchase a new loveseat eventhough I bought what I was told was good for 5 years but now I am told they only cover accidents and you have to prove to them it was an accident. Making crappy furniture isn't covered and they had no problem making me believe that it was when I was lied to so I would buy it. This company has very bad customer service and even worse products.
Power recliner 9 months old. Made loud POP THIS MORNING SMELLED BURNING WIRES AND THEN SAW SMOKE. Unplugged it immediately and pulled my husband out of it. He's disabled, 2 strokes cant walk. Had to sit in his wheelchair all day. He cant lay down in the wheelchair... thats why we bought recliner. I called. On hokd 2 hours and then I heard a dial tone. They disconnected me. Called back. Disconnected after 35 minutes. I texted to customer service. I was number 77 in line to chat to someone. I was disconnected at number 16. I texted customer chat line again. I was number 77 again and waited. I was disconnected at number 6. My husband is disabled. What the hell do I do? Its so upsetting to me that I cant make him comfortable. He cant get up from regular furniture. Thats why the power lift recliner. I am devastated.

I purchased my couch the end of December 2019... I had to send a piece of the sectional back because it did not fit. Bobs called me to tell me they had to replace the open end. Fast forward it's now the middle of August and I have been going back and forth with these people multiple times... taken days off of work. Etc. STILL DO NOT HAVE THE CORRECT FURNITURE IN MY HOUSE. My last appointment the guy delivering came outside the time frame that was given (I was at work) he said he would come back since he came early... I waited all day and even called him multiple times. He never answered. They never came. It's not worth the headache. And it's not just worth it for their cheap products. I've spoken with managers. Corporate and they have not done a DAMN THING! They do not care about their customers. I would recommend to shop elsewhere. BEWARE!
For months I saved money to purchase my first adult bedroom set. I shopped at several different stores before deciding to purchase from Bob's furniture in Totowa and the nightmare began. After spending FIVE THOUSAND dollars, my bedroom set came damaged. Then instead of fixing it, they offered me a $100 gift card to keep as is and use the gift card on a future purchase. Um hello I'm not happy with the merchandise I have, let alone buy more. But wait it gets worst. I received my bedroom set but my mattress has still not been delivered. I'm sleeping on an air mattress in the meantime and seeing a chiropractor now. Finally they tell me they are delivering my mattress on Christmas Eve and then cancel and are now telling me Jan 24th! Did I mention I purchased this set in October. If you want poor quality furniture and unsatisfactory customer service then shop Bob's!
They are a rats! And they are shameless charging so much money for furniture that is useless, I wish I had never bought in that store, I advise you never visit these stores, I wish to see the review before to buy something, I'm no recommend anybody
Brought a red Sectional about 2 years ago paid about $1000 plus delivery. Not even a year later the couch started to peel and stew up so bad with wrinkles. Called and they kept telling me they sent me email to click on and submit pics but I never received any emails. I kept calling and they lied and said the same thing. After no help I got tired of calling but I said I'm m gonna complain paid my money for bad furniture. I reported them to the BBB and they said to send pics I sent the pics and they claim they didn't receive them which is not true. I still have not heard anything back from them. I will never ever purchase anything else from them again just horrible.
In the store, I was told that they would take away everything and show me how everything worked with the white glove delivery. When they got here they said they did not take away bed frames, and that I was to have everything ready for them. They put the bed together, and used the remote controls, Did not show me how they worked. They left two boxes, I said what about them they said that is for your headboard if you want to use it. I opened the boxes and there weren't any instructions inside. They were polite enough. But the white glove was more of a fast in and out glove. I would think that I would have gotten better service for spending almost $6,000.00 You need to work on the white glove delivery, A LOT
I am on a ridiculously long hold with Bob's corporate office. In the past 4 years we have purchased over $6000 between our bedroom and livingroom sets. Accidental chip in cocktail table denied because I wasnt specific enough in what happened. Said I didnt know why it chipped so easy, rep typed I said I didnt know how it chipped. They dont cover issues that customer doesnt know what happened. The chest of drawers was denied because they dont cover hardware (a handle broke off of the hinge). The leather sectional was denied because they dont cover discoloration or fading. When I pointed out that whatever was happening to the leather was also in a fold where neither could be the case (provided several photos), they said it would fall under faulty product/material and they dont cover that either. They refused to even send someone out to look at it in person.
Paid extra for literally nothing.
After waiting for months for our new couch and loveseat to be delivered the fight began... They delivered the couch with huge rips. My husband told them we will not accept the couch because the store's policy is if you do you cannot return it. While he was on the phone in the dining room the delivery guys continued putting the couch together and took off. My husband ran down the driveway to stop them just to be cussed at. Then we waited again because the delivery people didn't want to deliver here because they were scared of my husband? What? The next couch finally came and after 2 months it is already shredding and sinking to were you feel the bars. They offered us... a $100.00 dollar in store credit... so disappointed.
Good service from sales, delivery and customer care is non existent.
Try calling Customer care they will put you on hold and the message will repeat it will be another 21 minutes. Try calling the store, same story.
We bought three end tables and a TV consul. One of the end tables were scratched and they were aware of it and tried to hide it. We took it back and Bobs Furniture sales rep told us it would be 6 to 8 weeks. When the 8 weeks were up Bobs never called us. We had to contact them. The sales rep we dealt with told us it would now be somewhere between 8 to 12 more weeks. We said why so line. She told us, "well its coming from Korean" (N?). Not good. We were lied to from the beginning. Will never buy from them again.

I ordered a mattress Queen they gave me a full I bought a 1200 table they brought to my house with a crack. They take forever to deliver told me I had to wait months for a new mattress do not go to them they suck
3 months ago i purchased a dinning table and it came with defects. We have had to return the table 3 times. Finally i asked for a refund and the company refused. Bob's stores furniture only gives store credit. We took the credit and purchased another more expensive dinning table. Bob's was supposed to inspect it and then deliver it. When we received the new table, our fourth table delivery, it also had defects. 2 chairs were not leveled and 2 others were badly scuffed. One other had a screw thru the frame. They still refuse to give refunds. I will never purchase from there.
In March, I choose a couch in store at the Flatbush Location in Brooklyn with sales associate named Clay. I set up a payment plan and a delivery everything seem to be pleasant. The day of my delivery was 2-6pm. At 6 pm no couch was delivered, but at 6:04 I got voicemail saying they were outside and could not get in my apartment building. The person called from a blocked number, so I just ran down stairs to see no one outside. Went upstairs and called corporate to see if they could swing back around. They said that the couches were backed up and my delivery did not come yet. They told be he would come at 6:30, no one showed up then I called back they told me 8:30. I asked what time this calling place closed and they said 9. I told them if the couch did not come by 8:30 to put it in from now to refund because I've been sitting waiting and on the text it said 10:44. The couch never came and for months argued to have my money sent back to my credit card.
We ordered the Charleston Chest, Dresser and 2 night stands in white paid for the white glove delivery and assembly. They are not white but ivory, the feet on all 4 pieces are crooked, draws don't line up and have gaps, some draws do not close all the way, mitered corners do not meet and top of chest bows up on front right with a gap. Showed pictures to customer service and was told that they meet manufactures standards end of discussions. My review of the items on their website are not there even after email verification and thanking me for the reviews. They have also blocked me from their facebook and twitter pages. Why because they don't want people to know the truth about how crappy their products are and just want to steal peoples money. I wish I would have looked at their FB and Twitter pages as they are loaded with angry customers. Kids in Elementary school wood shop could have built these better. Run from Bob's scam artist!

My girlfriend and I ordered a bed set for ourselves, and a mattress with a power essential adjustable base for my dying grandma who just came out of the hospital because they couldn't do more for her. We knew we were waiting on the bed set which didn't matter but we needed her mattress ASAP. She hates her hospital bed and wanted a real mattress but it needed to be able to lift her up. We told them about her condition and we were promised that we would get delivery Tuesday (8/11/20) and they would set up the delivery date. We purchased on (8/8/20) for reference. Not only have we not heard from them (8/11/20) but when we called we were told by customer service that no date was ever set and that the sales team and managers often lie to get the sale. They also said that they couldn't do anything for us except set up a new delivery date as normal. I cannot believe the service and BS I'm getting from the store now that they have my money!
I call today about repair for my sofa and they told me I have to pay $79 plus taxes because my warranty it was expired May 2017 I thought it was 10 years warranty this is the fourth time I call the come before and they fix the sofa the material theyre very poor the foundation plywood in the sofa it break four times my father is very upset because he buy the sofa and he has to pay! Cheep material s!
Do not buy anything from here they have the worst customer service ever. I brought a dinning room table from here and they delivered it damaged. Called customer serviced while the delivery people was there and they said to keep it and they would send replacement arms for the damaged chair and to call back in when i get them and they would send someone out to replace them. Wanted 2 month to get the arms via UPS. Called customer care back to have someone come out and they tell me they one service my area on Wednesday and that they could not come out any other day. So not either i take off a day of work to have them replace the arms or have damaged furniture. What ever happen to the customer is always right will not here it what they say of nothing at all.
Been dealing with them for 6 years now and 5 sets later still having the same problems... Even when you purchase the goof proof it just Doesn't matter they always have a excuse for their poor quality furniture! And Nasty Customer Service. They act like their giving you furniture for free... Never ever will i buy anything from them again and i will let it be known to all not to shop their! They will not give you your money back of exchange their damage furniture! Normal wear and tear in 6 months? I think Not! Small Claims Court I guess is the way we need to go! BUYER BEWARE! Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
