Their furniture is made very cheaply. They will sell you a Goof Proof warranty this is good for 5 years. What they don't tell you is that if the furniture just falls apart because it is made so cheaply the warranty won't cover it! I will never buy another thing from this place!

We ordered online At Bob's discount furniture, four barstools. When we tried to put them together the screws would not tighten into their threaded holes, very poor craftsmanship, we had to re-box these four barstools and ship them back, we have not received our money back for these barstools it's been two months. At this point we realized we need to cancel the mattress immediately which was a king size and the best brand. They were fighting me all the way, Insisting that they were going to send it to us anyway, however I told them we were to not except the mattress On the attempted delivery and we did get refunded. Our lamp finally showed up after a couple of months it was cracked and the box was crushed,?
We did get a wooden end table for the living room and so far it doesn't seem like we have any problems with that, so far
Overall the experience has been horrible and can only hope that this reaches at least one of you that are smart enough to just take our word for it. This is not about you reading this and Savng you money, really, it's about taking business from Bob's discount furniture as they don't deserve it and as you can read there are many that feel the same way.
This is ridiculous. I've been waiting months for Furniture. I was there when they first opened at Desert Ridge. I made an appointment and I paid upfront. They've given me two different delivery dates a month apart I've been waiting for two months now

THEY ARE ARGUING THAT THEY CANT REVERSE A CREDIT I DID NOT RECEIVE AND ITS ONLY 3 WKS AFTER DELIVERY(9/8). I HAVE BOUGHT 6 COUCHES IN 20 YRS WITHOUT AN ISSUE OR RETURN. THIS ONE HAD A BROKEN TRIM FROM DELIVERY(AGAIN NOT MY DOING). THANKS FOR NOTHING BOBS. SEE PICS AND I WILL POST ANYWHERE I CAN TO WARN OTHERS. After trying to get into contact with someone regarding my delivery and why I have yet to receive any information (when my receipt says "delivery mid Sept"), I have been on the phone with 4 different people and hung up on EVERY SINGLE TIME! When I was asked about compensation, they stated that all they could offer was $25! I have to wait almost THREE MONTHS for my sofa (now they say it will be delivered around Nov), yet you can take my money within that same week of order placement, back in AUGUST. According the the BBB, "If the business cannot deliver the merchandise by the latest delivery date, it must immediately notify the customer by writing a letter which must include notice of the delay, a new anticipated delivery date, or range of dates and the consumer's options if the seller fails to deliver" (BBB). Where is my written letter, Bob's? You are hurting customers, stealing their hard earned money, and failing to deliver! NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE FROM BOB'S. I recommend you stay away from them, spend a couple of more dollars on a better company... seems that's what I will have to do.
Bought a bed for my kids, cost over $1,000. The wood under mattress broke in a few months. My daughter is under 100 pounds, only uses bedroom to sleep, no jumping around.
By the time Bob's showed up, it was a few months after the 12 months. They sent me some plastics to install by myself. I finally calle the Protection plan they sold me, turns out the wood that is exposed is NOT covered, fabric under is NOT covered. WASTE of money. Extremely poor quality for a very high price. I have this sofa for about a year, it looks great, super poor frame quality, I paid $550 I know its not much, it's worth about $250. I would tell everyone I know not to buy from them, take your money somewhere else for better quality product and service. Their customer service is also very bad, everything takes forever, you always have to follow up they never contact you back. I don't have 1 good thing to say about them.
I ordered two stools which were pickup date September 18th today. Seeing I had to drive one hr to get there. I called first to make sure they were in. The woman put me on hold and came back and said yes they were in. Went down there and guess what they were on back order until oct 8 th. I asked to talk to the manager and that was a total nightmare. Another two hour call to customer care. Guy tells me they will deliver in two days on Saturday. I get disconnected as usual. No confirmation on Saturday. Today, over an hour calling customer care. Guy tells me no for Saturday. Now one of the bed parts is missing or broken. I am storming mad. Speak to manager. That wAs useless. Another 18 day wait for bed. This is absolutely the worst business I have ever dealt with. I am amazed they are not bankrupt. They are all incompetent.
Power recliner 9 months old. Made loud POP THIS MORNING SMELLED BURNING WIRES AND THEN SAW SMOKE. Unplugged it immediately and pulled my husband out of it. He's disabled, 2 strokes cant walk. Had to sit in his wheelchair all day. He cant lay down in the wheelchair... thats why we bought recliner. I called. On hokd 2 hours and then I heard a dial tone. They disconnected me. Called back. Disconnected after 35 minutes. I texted to customer service. I was number 77 in line to chat to someone. I was disconnected at number 16. I texted customer chat line again. I was number 77 again and waited. I was disconnected at number 6. My husband is disabled. What the hell do I do? Its so upsetting to me that I cant make him comfortable. He cant get up from regular furniture. Thats why the power lift recliner. I am devastated.
Horrible customer service. I ordered a sectional sofa three weeks ago to be delivered yesterday. Delivery team showed up, and realized they only had half of the sofa. The delivery team called Bob's Customer Service line, where I spoke with a rep who "guaranteed" that the other half of my sofa would be delivered Sunday, Sept 20th, so I accepted the partial delivery. Today I received a voicemail that the other part of my sofa would NOT be delivered this Sunday as "guaranteed", but instead it was now "guaranteed" to be delivered sometime in October.
Bottom line, don't believe a word that Bob's Discount Furniture promises you. They repeatedly don't deliver the correct furniture, can't deliver a complete piece of furniture, and repeatedly lie to their customers with their "guaranteed" delivery dates that really aren't that guaranteed. Kind of like that Seinfeld episode with the car reservations; "you know how to TAKE the reservation, but you don't know how to KEEP the reservation".
I've spent the better part of the morning waiting on hold and speaking to rude and inept customer care representatives and their managers trying to resolve with no success. CEO Mike Skirvin should be ashamed at how his company treats customers (as evidence by all the reviews in addition to mine), and make a plan on how they can improve the customer experience and not continue to let customers down with broken promises, failed deliveries, and rude customer service.
Avoid at all costs, there are a lot of more reputable furniture stores available that won't lie to you, and will deliver what you paid for as promised.
Brought a red Sectional about 2 years ago paid about $1000 plus delivery. Not even a year later the couch started to peel and stew up so bad with wrinkles. Called and they kept telling me they sent me email to click on and submit pics but I never received any emails. I kept calling and they lied and said the same thing. After no help I got tired of calling but I said I'm m gonna complain paid my money for bad furniture. I reported them to the BBB and they said to send pics I sent the pics and they claim they didn't receive them which is not true. I still have not heard anything back from them. I will never ever purchase anything else from them again just horrible.
Completely horrific experience. I paid cash for my bed and they still couldn't get it right. Delivery was scheduled for 9/11. They didn't bother to call. I called at 5pm they told me its in the warehouse. I go today and only the mattress is there. The foundation won't be in u til October 3. I didn't buy my bed in pieces. I had a bad experience with this company. I will return what i got and never come back. I am not happy with the delivery service. I was supposed to get my table a month ago so finally it came today but the legs are missing. When I called they said that the legs are coming after a month. What the hell am I supposed to do with the too part? Why nobody said anything at the begginging? I would never agreed to this bull$#*!. I am returning my top part and the chairs.Not coming back ever. I purchased a new mattress from Bob's and paid the delivery fee. The bed was absolutely TERRIBLE! I had to live with it for 30 days before I could return the bed. They told me I could return the mattress for a new one but would have to pay a delivery fee again. I asked why since they are already coming to take the crappy one away and they said that's policy. I will buy my mattress from another place since they offer free delivery and their prices are comparable to Bob's and end up being cheaper when you don't pay for delivery
If I could have given them a half of star I would have, Twice they have given us a time that our furniture was to be delivered and twice I took time of from work to wait for delivery only for them to call us the day they were supposed to be here and tell us the first time 3 weeks longer and when they finally delivered that day they put the furniture together all wrong and had to come back and re do it, the second was my loveseat to be delivered today only to call halfway through the day to tell us the cant deliver until the 29 sept 2020 a second day off from work it took 2 hours to finally get through to the Manchester store for the store manager Peter to tell me it is what it is (REALLY) you mean to tell me they didn't know a couple of days prior so they just waste our time? I've spent over 10.000 dollars at bobs. I'm a young black woman that work check to check and thought the bobs furniture is for me but seeing that the furniture is breaking apart for no reason and the repair person don't come out at all leaves me with broken furniture. Now I have to start from the bottom. THANKS FOR LYING TO me.The furniture ooks nice but it is cheap and the people and commercials are designed to tell you what you want to hear. Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
