They will find any reason to not back there warranty. What a waste of money, not only is there furniture disposable but u can't have it replaced when it breaks and u paid 200 for a warranty... rip off. I will never recommend Bobs. Ill tell everyone to never shop there.
I am on a ridiculously long hold with Bob's corporate office. In the past 4 years we have purchased over $6000 between our bedroom and livingroom sets. Accidental chip in cocktail table denied because I wasnt specific enough in what happened. Said I didnt know why it chipped so easy, rep typed I said I didnt know how it chipped. They dont cover issues that customer doesnt know what happened. The chest of drawers was denied because they dont cover hardware (a handle broke off of the hinge). The leather sectional was denied because they dont cover discoloration or fading. When I pointed out that whatever was happening to the leather was also in a fold where neither could be the case (provided several photos), they said it would fall under faulty product/material and they dont cover that either. They refused to even send someone out to look at it in person.
Paid extra for literally nothing.
The worst Furniture store they are all layers this is the last experience and if you really give your money value don't west your time and money
I bought a couch and dining table from Bob's furniture. My delivery got delayed several times (by nearly two months). Here's my experience:
1. Extremely rude staff: Both the delivery and the call center staff are extremely rude. One call center lady shouted at me when I asked her about my delivery timeline.
2. Extremely long hold time - Just reaching the customer care takes an hour. Imagine when you have to do this multiple times
3. Incomplete deliveries - My couch got delivered in two parts. My dining table chairs did not have screws. When I asked for the right screws, they said that it would be delivered after two months.
4. Corrupt staff - I was on a work call and could not pick up the delivery guy's phone. I called him back 5 minutes after (he was not far from my stop, but started demanding money to turn around and deliver my furniture)
In short, this place might seem to have good furniture, but DO NOT buy from here. You will lose your sleep and the hair on your head trying to get them to deliver stuff. They make it seem like they are doing you a favor by delivering your stuff.
This was the first and last time I will ever buy anything from Bob's Furniture. I ordered a dining set in June. When I put the order through, the expected delivery date was less than a week. I never got it until August.
I paid for white glove delivery- one of the chairs was completely damaged. We were told they'd send someone to exchange it for a new chair. Fine, whatever. We didn't complain- things happen. No one contacted us as promised, so after HOURS (yes, literally hours) of trying to get ahold of someone and repeatedly getting disconnected the representative told me that they had no record of any damages and offered a "discount" off of the completely unusable chair. I told him I ordered new furniture and I wanted new furniture. Then he said he could send someone to "fix" the chair and that if it wasn't able to be fixed the repair person would swap it with a new one. This is completely ridiculous, but we said fine and made the appointment because I didn't have any time left in the day to argue about it.
The repair person shows up and argues with my husband that he can fix the chair. They take the cardboard off and the chair is literally destroyed, as we told them initially. He then made my husband talk to customer service. They are going to send a new chair to my home, which is back ordered for at least another month. Oh, and the chair will arrive unassembled, so we will have to make ANOTHER appointment to have someone come and put it together.
Bob's customer service is a nightmare- it may even be worse than Comcast, and we all know how Comcast is. If you're looking for new furniture and trying to save a little money by choosing Bob's- don't! It's not worth it.

I purchased my couch the end of December 2019... I had to send a piece of the sectional back because it did not fit. Bobs called me to tell me they had to replace the open end. Fast forward it's now the middle of August and I have been going back and forth with these people multiple times... taken days off of work. Etc. STILL DO NOT HAVE THE CORRECT FURNITURE IN MY HOUSE. My last appointment the guy delivering came outside the time frame that was given (I was at work) he said he would come back since he came early... I waited all day and even called him multiple times. He never answered. They never came. It's not worth the headache. And it's not just worth it for their cheap products. I've spoken with managers. Corporate and they have not done a DAMN THING! They do not care about their customers. I would recommend to shop elsewhere. BEWARE!

Took money for something that wasn't even in stock. Gave us a bull$#*! delivery date, and delivered a box of bobs goof off stain remover.
Then couldn't tell us where, when or even if the lounge parts we ordered were ever going to come. Rang and Rang and Rang them but could get through and when I did had the most pathetic answers. Seriously these guys could manage to get drunk in a brewery.
Then the lounge comes and the pillows are so over stuffed they don't match the ones we have by at least 3 inches, now instead of looking like the same lounge it looks like we just bought each piece from 6 different manufactures.
Never again BOB, you and your store is hopeless.
Bought a bed set from Bob's. Ordered "white glove delivery". They left without finishing their job. One big problem was that they didn't pair the remote to the bed. All fixed. But they left it way too high for me. Now I can barely get into it. I have been trying to reach someone there for three days now. I would stay away from Bob's
The furniture is junk and the warranty is a joke, 2 chairs broke 1 was wood crack from moving a chair back, the other was the seat pad cracked on a 180 person and the weight capacity was 300. The warranty company is the worst, no English speaking person and after a week they find a stupid reason as to why nothing is covered. Don't fall for the warranty and if you do buy get ready to replace in a month
The abolute worse customer service I have had to deal with. The phone system is a complete joke. Seriously like something off a sitcom. First my order was broken into two shipments. First came broken and I paid extra to have it set up. They never said a thing about the broken piece. Then the second shipment was told one date for delivery when the day arrived no word from them. Try to get them on the phone took over 45 minutes to finally speak to a real person only to find out that my ordered will be delived in another 3 weeks. 50 days from day ordered and paid for to recieve.
I bought a grey bedroom set for my daughter and after 3 weeks the rail broke on the side of the bed. Bob's came and fixed it. 2 weeks later other rail broke, they came again and fixed it. One month later 1st rail broke in 2 places, I told Bob's to bring replacement bed. Nope! Came and fixed the rail again. Bed broke again! I was told I needed to get a metal bed frame. Really?
At the same time as the bedroom set I ordered a sofa. Well it has been 8 months and the cushions are so flat that you back hurts after sitting for more than 10 minutes. Bob's memory foam sucks. Customer service sucks. Bob's furniture sucks.
My girlfriend and I ordered a bed set for ourselves, and a mattress with a power essential adjustable base for my dying grandma who just came out of the hospital because they couldn't do more for her. We knew we were waiting on the bed set which didn't matter but we needed her mattress ASAP. She hates her hospital bed and wanted a real mattress but it needed to be able to lift her up. We told them about her condition and we were promised that we would get delivery Tuesday (8/11/20) and they would set up the delivery date. We purchased on (8/8/20) for reference. Not only have we not heard from them (8/11/20) but when we called we were told by customer service that no date was ever set and that the sales team and managers often lie to get the sale. They also said that they couldn't do anything for us except set up a new delivery date as normal. I cannot believe the service and BS I'm getting from the store now that they have my money!
This company is the worst! Bob's Discount Furniture on Manchester Road. BEWARE!. They say everything you want to hear but fall short after you pay them. It's been 3 months since we ordered a sectional couch. We showed up on our scheduled pick up date and our full order was not available to pick up. We have been told 5 different delivery dates. We have taken off work and waited for deliveries and on each date there has been no delivery... and no call from Bob's Discount Furniture.
To add insult to injury, when you try and call them they keep you on hold for 2-3 hours and then they disconnect you. They have disconnected us 4 times now, which shows that this technique part of their normal operating strategy. They don't call you back and you have to start the call process all over again. We placed an order June 1st and August 8th we still have not received our purchase.
Today we waited on hold for 2 hours, when they answered the phone, we and got the representatives call back number in case we got disconnected. Guess what? After talking to them a few minutes they disconnected us again!
We tried calling them back and the number and extension they provided to us. That number took us to the same phone system to wait another 3 hours.
At first, they blamed their incompetence on the Coronavirus and shipments taking longer than expected. They said it was in route and would take an additional 7 days. We found out today, three months later, that the couch had never been ordered and they were not even sure if it was going to be manufactured in the color we ordered.
WOW. Just Wow. I really have ever been screwed over more by a company in my life. Ordered a love seat for my new apartment. Paid $100 delivery fee. Got delivered. Guys refused to bring it into my apartment. Left it blocking the stairs to the building prohibiting anyone from getting into or out of their apartments and preventing the front door from being able to close. Had a neighbor help me get it into my apartment. GOt it in only to find that they delivered the incorrect pieces. Two left sides of the couch. Waited on hold for 45 mins for customer service. Got connected with someone who said they would help me on Saturday(4 days after the original scheduled delivery) Then I'm like ok well at least I can sit on one side of the couch... take the plastic off only to find that one side of the couch is stained and the other side is ripped. Call customer service back only to wait on hold for an hour and a half and have my call disconnected. Sent several email requests called several times every time with hour or longer hold times that I couldn't wait. FInnally FINNNALLLY get in touch with a customer service representative who then puts me on an additional hold for another 30 minutes while she's trying to get approval from a supervisor for a refund. I get in contact with said supervisor who tells me that BObs does not do refunds and that they can't help me. Then proceeds to tell me that they can't even come replace the couch for another 10 days. I AM BEYOND ENRAGED BY THIS TRASH COMPANY. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! 1

Waited 7 weeks for the sectional couch, it was delivered 8/1/20., charged for(white glove). What a joke! First thing out of Delivery drivers mouth, no take off plastic, his exact words!, they shoved the furniture in the house took pictures of it while I was still in the plastic, when we were going to try to take some plastic off no no he said, I have to take pictures with the plastic on, as he was bringing one piece and he tore the bottom of the couch and said no problem it doesn't show anyway, we took the plastic off of one of the couches as they were leaving and noticed damage, tried to call to them they literally ran to the truck hit the gas and took off. We noticed the three pieces we opened all had damage. Did not bother opening the rest of them up. Called Bob's for a complete refund but they said they cannot refund the white glove delivery will have to haggle with management what a joke. The picture show separated material with cheap flimsy staples the other picture can't really tell but the frame I think it's made out of wood or cardboard is completely broken what a piece of junk
Terrible customer service at Charleston Branch. Not willing to own up or correct their mistakes. Delivered furniture with missing parts still waiting, Bob's said not their problem parts come from a third party. I would never ever buy from them again.
I ordered a couch online for $968.00. I got a call from a salesperson to let me know that the couch is out of stock and won't be available for a month. I asked for a refund he told me he can't do it I have to call the store directly. I called the store I sat on hold for 3 hours just for the lady to get on the phone to tell me she can't do it someone from customer care has to (WHAT A JOKE) and that someone will give me a call back. It is now 4 DAYS Later and I still have not received my refund. NEVER AGAIN IM SO FURIOUS
I would not advise getting anything from there. Our bedroom set is still not put together due to damage & missing parts. We have been waiting for over 2 months for their customer service to come out with the right parts! Our headboard was damaged and is missing the legs so we can't even put it together temporarily to sleep on it. I am completely disgusted!

Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
