No-one from Bob's Furniture or Guardian has given me the right details for me to make my claim online nor has anyone from Guardian picked up any call. The number just puts you through to very irritating music and the Director of Communication's recording periodically comes on to utter some nonsense about overwhelming call volumes. You never get to talk to anyone. I have been on hold for more than an hour as i work multiple times. Bob's is unhelpful. Does anyone know how I can get my Goof Proof money back and get my couches fixed by myself?
This GOOF PROOF SCAM must be exposed so no-one else buys it with their furniture. Also, the furniture itself is defunct and low quality. DO NOT SHOP BOB's FURNITURE ever for peace of mind.
I bought my sectional leather from bob's it's covered under warranty which I paid extra for the hook is broken recliner foot rest is broken and the stitch is also broken, when I called so much questions and then she said it's not covered it's wear and tear and its not 4 years old and we are just two people living there apparently you have to hurt yourself before its covered under warranty not a phone call back from them they are the worst when you go to buy everything is covered just us a call such liars this is the second time I got burnt from them never again they are just cheats liars very unhappy.
Bobs made my disabled son wait 1 month to replace a faulty motor on the Bobs Low Rider mattress mechanism. PLUS they charged us $60.00 for this new part! As well. If they treat disabled people so uncaringly... dont expect any quick responses! They gave us the complete runaround... telling this boring story to 50 people whom all seemed like it was their first day at work for Bobs! What the Hell? Is Bobs so desperate for money... he has to charge us customers $60.00 for a part that shouldve still been under warranty. The whole bed and mechanism for the mattress was purchase Sep. 2017!,, Now in May 2018, the mechanism broke down, putting my sons health at risk, since he is on a breathing vent. However, Bobs Did NOT care of our horrible situation. Instead they wanted $60.00 for new part AND made us wait 4 wks. To REPLACE it,! Thats VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. WE WILL NEVER SHOP BOBS AGAIN! And we will pass the bad word on...
I noticed my sofa which was three days old was defeated. I called to complain and get it fix and was told they didn't have the part. I was told to buy the part and they would reimburse me. Which angry me since I also had goof protection. I have been called a lier. I had to threaten to write BBB to get it fix. There is know refunds that is not told to you at time of purchase. They treated me like a criminal and am a senior citizens and a veteran
We bought the furniture Late January, a Dinning Set and Sectional.
The delivered the sectional and part of the dinning set. I received many calls and texts about confirming delivery date and on the same date of the delivery they call saying that they don't have the furniture. The excuse is the corona virus, but but the furniture in january and i was expecting to be delivered by late february. Today is March 31 and now they said that ill be on April 21th. The good part is that i already have the billing.
The worst service ever.
I went to your union, nj store and was pleasantly surprised with the salesperson, chris Spero and the store. The salesperson was very knowledgable and helpful. I am coming back with my husband to purchase furniture.

Looked at this on Sept 20th and it was $1699 and decided to think on it. Checked on October 8th and price was $1799 and then again October 11th and it was $1999! I emailed asking why the drastic increase in such a small amount of time for a "NO GIMMICK" (HA!) store. Of course, no response. Shopped elsewhere. Took photos and sent them photos of the dates with all the price changes.
First I paid for bobs white glove service which their denied so I never took delivery and asked for my money back which they agreed to. Well that was two weeks ago and still no refund. STAY AWAY FROM Bobs RIP OFF furniture stores especially the one in Henderson NV
Waited 7 weeks for the sectional couch, it was delivered 8/1/20., charged for(white glove). What a joke! First thing out of Delivery drivers mouth, no take off plastic, his exact words!, they shoved the furniture in the house took pictures of it while I was still in the plastic, when we were going to try to take some plastic off no no he said, I have to take pictures with the plastic on, as he was bringing one piece and he tore the bottom of the couch and said no problem it doesn't show anyway, we took the plastic off of one of the couches as they were leaving and noticed damage, tried to call to them they literally ran to the truck hit the gas and took off. We noticed the three pieces we opened all had damage. Did not bother opening the rest of them up. Called Bob's for a complete refund but they said they cannot refund the white glove delivery will have to haggle with management what a joke. The picture show separated material with cheap flimsy staples the other picture can't really tell but the frame I think it's made out of wood or cardboard is completely broken what a piece of junk
Bobs store is a sham! They sell fake copy furnitures. Bought a bobopedic And was told it's just like the Tempur-pedic. Which was bull$#*! it's been a year now and my wife and I back & shoulders hurt because of this stupid mattress and we opened it up and it was only 3-4" in layer that was a memory foam and the rest was garbage. Don't trust Bob's furniture store! It's all crap furniture. So they got us to buy the $100 mattress protector didn't work at all I had a little dog Peed and it went through the mattress protector. AVOID BOBS STORE AT ALL COST...
They screwed up my $500 order by switching me to FedEx not giving me a tracking number, not passing my unit number to FedEx. I never received half of my items, and I'm fighting FedEx for a refund. Bob's is no help whatsoever, and their staff in the store go out of their way not to help -- they constantly play a shell game of 'Who's the Manager?' The only person who's manager is the one who isn't there. Eventually they transfer you to 'Corporate' where you will spend over 45 minutes on hold. Even Tracy Sanborn in Corporate is no help. STAY AWAY FROM BOBS!
We had really awful experience with our recent purchase of a daybed with a twin mattress. Everything looked fine on a display in a store. However, the mattress they delivered on was too small for this bed and definitely defective. There were 7 inches gaps from each side of a bed and mattress itself was 71 inch long instead of 75. In couple of days it went in waves. We contacted customer service (the same day it was delivered). They refused to accept return for refund, but promised to send a replacement next Saturday. Nothing happened. We called again, and they promised to send it Tuesday. Again nothing happened. We called on Tuesday and were told that there is no information in their system regarding replacement. We called few more times and each time they promised to call back but never did. We had to go back to the store and demand to do something, stop sending us back and forth. Customer service was telling us to go to a store, and in a store to call customer service. At last, they promised to send a replacement, but in one month! I will never buy anything from them again! Awful service and defective items.
I purchased a bedroom set one year ago when the delivery guys came to set everything up they damaged it I was never replaced for anything I recently just purchased a sectional couch one month later it's broken and they're telling me they cannot fix it because my nephew set on the couch with me and it broke what happened to the warrantee you mean to tell me two months later couch broken they can't do anything for me horrible I highly do not recommend anyone to Bob's furniture the worst ever
I furnished my living room with Bob's furniture. I noticed one side of a chair I bought was not right. Accidentally vacuum cord got hooked on it and pulled it away. Reported it and they said it's not covered… false marketing and advertising. DO NOT FALL FOR WARRANTY FALSE CLAIMS
Bobs delivery guy, store employees at Carle Place, NY is no good the service area are full of $#*! they act as if im begging for Furnitures, The s give me and my wife was unpleasant i cant even find a word to describe it, i ordered a power recliner i cancel it because of there stinking attitude. I went to Raymore & Flanigan n the service was excellent i send a few thousand there lol... Bob's Furniture you guys at Carle Place are the $#*!ing worst... my refund is short $70... i need my $#*!ing hard working money

Just purchased some new sofas two weeks ago called because I had an issue with the furniture and was told that I needed to pay more as well as was spoke to very rudely and disrespectfully I couldn't believe that managers and supervisors spoke to customer is aware that they did I would never recommend going to the store to anyone.
I ordered two stools which were pickup date September 18th today. Seeing I had to drive one hr to get there. I called first to make sure they were in. The woman put me on hold and came back and said yes they were in. Went down there and guess what they were on back order until oct 8 th. I asked to talk to the manager and that was a total nightmare. He was so rude and disrespectful. Didn't believe I called when I brought up the call history it was on there that was called and the time was 22 minutes. That man shouldn't be dealing with people just a terrible man. Totally should be fired. Will never go back to that place just want people to know how terrible it is.hes a fat lier don't believe him. I will be contacting the corporate office on Monday

Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
