So I was online shopping for shoes and came across Missguidedus. I have to agree that some of their items are pretty cute and the website is doing a 50% off so I decided to buy the shoes I wanted from them. Everything was going fine until I saw terrible online reviews about the website. (BIG MISTAKE! I SHOULD'VE RESEARCHED ABOUT THE WEBSITE BEFORE I BOUGHT FROM THEM) After that, things became to get worse. I got an email from SkyNet saying that I owe them $20 on a pair of $23.5 dollar shoes or else they will not send the shoes to me. WTF. Let me sum this up, the website is extremely unprofessional and the same person picked up every time I called. I am starting to get this vibe that this is a scam but it is true that Missguidedus uses this courier. (TERRIBLE MISTAKE ON THEIR PART) Then, I did some research about people who came across the same issue as me and decided to pay the $20. I just called SkyNet and yup, the same person picked up again and she told me that it will arrive either tomorrow or Monday. Now that I think of it, the 50% off from Missguidedus is just an incentive to make customers buy their stuff and then charge them the discounted price plus some custom fees afterwards without any headsup at checkout. Oh and their customer service really sucks because I contacted one of those guys who work there and told him that I wanted a refund but the shipment was still on its way the day after I told him that. THINK BEFORE YOU BUY SH*T FROM THERE!

In addition, this is the first time I had to pay customs because they usually don't charge you unless you bought something that is over $200.

It takes one whole week for items to ship to the Bay Area.

My two purchases (only swim wear) have turned out great. One bathing suit from my last purchase did NOT fit, so I returned it. I had to pay for shipping, which sucks, but at least it was cheap... Although it took a while (1-2 weeks) to receive a confirmation stating they received my returned item, I eventually got one AND RECEIVED MY FULL REFUND.

I will continue to buy stuff from them b/c the 50% sales are great and they have really cute swimwear.

MISSGUIDEDUS IS DEFINITELY NOT A SCAM.

Missguided advertises prices on their website, with a 50% off sale. When you receive the receipt, all of a sudden the prices jump up significantly from what they are advertising. I reached out to Customer Service, and was told that their "prices are subject to change"... apparently WHILE you are checking out! This company is a total joke with their customer service. How misleading to switch the price on someone as they are paying for that item. Shame on you.

I ordered before Christmas and it was smooth sailing. I ordered over a week ago (express shipping) and the tracking showed no activity. After reading these reviews I check my junk mail and see a sketchy email from Sky net asking me to pau 33$ when I've never paid duties for Missguided before. Now Im out 2 dresses for my birthday and fly out on vacation tomorrow without any evening outfits to wear. What a bust. Never again.

I placed an order on May 5. A few days later I got an email in my JUNK box saying I owed $40 to Skynet for import duties. I have NEVER heard of Skynet, and it didn't show what company I had ordered from, so I ignored the email because it sounded like a scam. Then I got a phone call saying I owed for duties and she wanted my credit card info over the phone, which I don't like giving, so I said I would look into it online instead. When I went on the Missguided site and looked up my order, it did indeed show that they had used Skynet to ship my order, and that I owed them duties. I was ANNOYED because a) I've ordered from MissGuided before and never had to pay duties to any "Skynet", b) why did the message go to my junk? I would have dealt with it ASAP if their company didn't come across as FRAUDULENT and c) usually you pay duties when the item arrives, not so it can be released from a hostage situation. ANYWAYS, so I go to pay for the duties and the stupid website isn't even secure! How do you not offer secure online payment? SO BAD. So I contacted MissGuided about not being able to pay for my duties securely and they just copied and pasted some BS response basically saying it's not their problem. YOU NEED TO OFFER YOUR CUSTOMERS SHIPPING FROM LEGITIMATE COMPANIES THAT DO NOT REQUIRE THEM TO GIVE OUT THEIR CREDIT CARD INFO IN NON-SECURE WAYS. DUH! Never again.

So I decided to give Missguided a second chance after my package was NEVER DELIVERED last year. I figured s#@t happens. Maybe it was just a one-off.

Now I have a $200 Order that says it was signed for by someone who does not live in my house. WTF. I paid over $50 in customs fees, and extra for express shipping that still took over two weeks. F this site. Don't buy from here ever.

Who the F#!% uses SKYNET? Are you mentally f#!%-tarded? Why do you not tell your customers or give them an option not to use this piddlya$$ useless shipper?

Almost certain this is a scam at this point. Feel like an idiot for buying off the site. Make sure you don't feel the same.

First off, the website was not very user friendly at all. I was shopping from my iPhone and it was very difficult to navigate the website. I will admit they do have some really cute items but literally almost EVERY item I liked was sold out. It was nearly impossible for me to put anything in my cart cuz nothing was stocked. So I finally came across some items I wanted to buy, proceeded to check out. I put my billing info in, etc. I press the button to finalize my order... and then nothing. No type of confirmation that my order went through. So I tried this again 3 or 4 times and each time, the website kept acting as if I hadn't made an attempt to purchase my stuff! I go to look at my bank account... turns out the website still charged me for an order that never went thru! Ahhh! SUPER frustrating experience. Luckily I was able to get my money back within a week but that will definitely be my first and last time shopping there.

I received expired promo codes from them twice in one week and they would not honor the discount codes sent to me. They advised I had to purchase the items full price, wait 48 hours for them to process the code, then another possible 5-10 days to receive the refund. That's insane and unacceptable. It ultimately sounds like a scam. Please be aware and don't fall for this. I don't know if this is some time of scam they're doing to multiple consumers.

Worst company ever! Wish I would have researched this! Clothes is very poor quality and they won't refund you when you send them back their $#*!ty clothes! Do not buy from them! Save yourself the problem! If I could give them a 0 or less I would!

Don't ever order from here! I returned an item back in February and still have yet to receive a refund. Please, do yourself a favor and do your research like I wish i had! You'll find a ton of other customers that had similar issues and never received a refund. I've followed up with them several times on their Facebook page (since there's no customer number to call, which should have been a red flag) and every time they tell me I should receive a refund to my account within 10 business days. I've waited 10 business days three times and still have received nothing! Chances are, you're going to have to make a return especially if you're a first time buyer because the clothes run big for the most part. I would give this company 0 stars if it was an option -- so unprofessional, disorganized and frustrating!

Horrible!

I placed an order on April 8th and here it is April 17th and nothing. First the tracking information was incorrect as I was advised the wrong tracking # was given. How do you give someone the wrong tracking #? Very unprofessional! Customer services advised to allow 7 days, still nothing. The tracking information now provided says "in transit." It's been saying "intransit" since the 10th, two days after i placed my order. Im unsuew how an order can be in transit for over a week that makes no sense ro me. No one has been able to provide to me a delivery date or anything. They're unprofessional and the service they're providing is unacceptable!

Ordered a blazer according to the sizing chart they provided. Received the blazer but it was way too small. I wanted to exchange but they don't offer exchanges. You have to place a new order and return old order. When I went to add the blazer to repurchase, I noticed the price changed. The company would not honor the price I originally paid. They kept mentioning they have a right to increase prices. In a matter of days I watched the price increase from $62 to $75! I have never experienced this with any store ever! With all the complaints of other reviewers not receiving refunds, I'm afraid to send my return back for fear of not receiving a refund! This is shady business practices and DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing from them under any circumstances! They should be investigated! If I could give them negative stars I would!

Dont bother

I ordered 4 pieces about 3 weeks ago as a next day delivery. Here I am, no package and no refund. Customer service is rubbish. Don't bother wasting your time. Have been using ASOS, next online, boohoo and never had any problems. The first and last time I'll ever use misguided.

Come on, MISSGUIDED. Get your sh** together and see that your business could be doing so much better if you used a better shipping method. The fact that my customs duties EVERY ORDER is either 80% to more than 100% of the item cost is absolutely ridiculous. For example, $18 on a $23 dollar shirt. What kind of black magic is this? Will never use this company again... ASOS is where it's at...

Scam alert!
My experience is with the return process. I sent out 2 packages of returned items and didn't receive any credit back to my card for either package. I contacted customer support who asked me for the tracking numbers and pictures of the mailing labels, none of which I kept. I googled "Missguided return problems" and saw that other customers had the same experience, where their return packages were alleged to have never made it to the warehouse.
To clarify, I live very close to the return center in Carson, CA, where my packages were sent. It is hard enough to believe that 1 package was lost, much less both. I sent both packages by UPS.
I've chatted & emailed customer service asking them to escalate this issue and have a manager call me back as I was alarmed after reading the online reviews. I've received emails saying they have tried calling from the UK (where headquarters are) but for whatever reason my phone numbers (both cell phone and land line) allegedly did not work. It's convenient that, with the advancements in technology, technical difficulties still exists to prevent a simple phone call in 2017.
It's been 3 weeks and I've followed up with emails, and at this point, I am getting absolutely no response at all. There is clearly some scam going on to prevent customers from getting refunds. There is mismanagement and/or a systematic problem. It could just be internal theft at the return warehouses and the ones who are ultimately paying for it are the customers.
Please take my experience as a warning and do not order from Missguided. If you intend to place an order, please do your due diligence and google customers' reviews first.

First of all, you have to pay for your own returns, which is ridiculous when most stores are offering free shipping and returns.

I returned 5 out of 6 items on a recent order. My return package arrived to Missguided over two weeks ago and they still have not refunded me. They have no phone number, just "chat" where you get canned responses. I had to open a PayPal dispute, and they won't even respond to it. Looks as though this is their normal way of doing business. Won't be back!

Surprise Customs

I never used to have a problem with custom charges with Missguided. I recently made 35$ order and was charged 21$ in customs. That is about 60%! I contacted them and they informed me that that made a change to their shipping policy on Dec. 15th. This is questionable, however, since I made an order in January and was never charged customs. This is absolutely ridiculous and NOT worth it for their products/price point.

I ordered three times from Missguided and am finally fed up! They claimed (for all three orders, returned at different times) that the warehouse never received my return. They require you to save the USPS receipt and email it to them as proof. The tracking number (showing the items were clearly delivered to their warehouse) is not enough. They try to get out of giving people refunds. Buyers BEWARE. The company is either a SCAM or they need to hire more competent people in their warehouse.

Literally the worst service I've ever received. I asked to cancel an order because I had heard that their clothes were really bad quality. They put the request through but then still ended shipping it out. When I contacted customer service they said that their policy is 45 minute cancellation, yet it doesn't say it ANYWHERE on their website, and then the told me my only option is to ship the package back when I receive it. I came to ship it back and it wad $15 shipping. Their website says that they will pay for a part of the shipping but when I contacted customer service they told me that I was in fault and not them so they would not pay for any of the return shipping (to me or back to them). The customer service representative was rude and sarcastic. Definitely will never be ordering form them again and I advise you not to as well.

ATTENTION! Do not order from this company. I ordered five items (two of the five were the wrong size) from this company. Sent all five items back to the address in the box the clothes were sent in. After a few days, I called to see whether they received the items. They told me they didn't and I never received my refund. The items were sent back in December 2016 and its March almost April 2017, still no refund. Do not waste your time, they are scammers.
