First their wedding websites are nice looking to start but you can't adjust much in their predetermined layouts. Any picture we wanted to add was massive and full page, and no option to add a text box on a lot of pages. I am a UX/ graphic designer and this was a struggle.
Second, there are zero options for "create your own". As a graphic designer I make my own designs. I had to find a plain card and take everything out just to paste my own design in an image file format.
Third, I put together a "change the date" card, and selected to have them send me a proof beforehand. I use wikibuy for coupons online, and at first I blamed them for adding an express shipping code to the order, but that should not override my request for a proof! That should be applied once I approve of what is to be printed. "Great express shipping... when the card is approved and is printed!" I called and they said they would remake it for half price but that is still almost $100. Not cool.
Fourth, their "help" or "chat with us" section is total BS. It just tries to find FAQs. That is not chat feature.
In the midst of a tremendously stressful and frustrating wedding planning season, my heart was heavy having so many little frustrations on things going wrong with little details on my wedding. Thankfully, minted was a break from all of my frustrations in the planning process. They truly helped me feel like a bride again! We ordered the mini books. Our order was absolutely perfect! We love traveling and got to include multiple images from our various prior trips. We paid the little extra for the pearlescent touch and it was worth every penny! The shiny on every detail brought the biggest smile to my face! Not to mention the PRINTED addresses so my fiancé and I didn't have to mess with it at all! I was so scared after reading the reviews on here from people who had negative reviews, but it was the furthest thing from my experience! I am so so grateful that I chose to use them for my invites! Thank you minted for helping a super stressed out bride feel excited about her wedding again! I will be recommending you to any and everyone I know! Thank you thank you thank you! :)
Poor experience - will never try again. I ordered invitations that I specifically purchased because they offered a gold lining in the envelope - I thought it would look very elegant... however the invitations arrived with no lining - called and they said they were out of stock. They offered a refund of the lining - and I said no - I chose these invitations & matching thank you notes because of the presentation - if I had know that you didn't have the lining, I would have purchased a different invitation. So the second woman I talked to offered a full refund - said I didn't have to return them... waited a few days and only got a partial refund. Called to inquire and was then told that was never offered... so now they're calling me a liar on top of being incompetent. So once I've talked to the 3rd person, they said that I would have to return the invites for a refund, I said fine - I want an email confirmation... they send a confirmation, but are only refunding the invites not the MATCHING thank you notes... these people are the worst - the absolute WORST... Please go somewhere else... If you're expecting custom and quality - this is not the place - I promise you that.
I purchased my save the date cards and Christmas cards through them. The quality is outstanding, and the design process is really easy. Very unique cards with high quality paper.

I HAVE SPENT MORE TIME THAN I EVER IMAGINED. THE DESIGNERS TAKE DAYS TO GET BACK TO YOU FOR MINOR CHANGES! ABSURD. YOU CANNOT COMMUNICATE WITH THEM DIRECTLY... SO FRUSTRATING! NO EDITING HAPPENS FAST. EVERY MINOR CHANGE TAKES 2 OR MORE BUSINESS DAYS TO PRODUCE. EXHAUSTING! ORDERED ON BLACK FRIDAY AND IT IS NOW ALMOST 20 DAYS WITHOUT OUR CHRISTMAS CARDS! EMAILED, CALLED AND STILL NOTHING HAS CHANGE. I AM SO UPSET THAT THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST YEAR WE ARENT ABLE TO GIVE OUR CHRISTMAS CARDS TO 17 TEACHERS AND ADMIN AT OUR SCHOOL. Hi order my wedding invitations two months ago. This has been the biggest nightmare ever! One the stickers that where provided ripped all the invitations that we had sent out. So when people opened them half of the information was stuck to the sticker. Secondly we went for the trifold postcard style and the postcard had sticky stuff stock to it from the tape that was provided, which caused them to get stuck to other mail and in the end get lost. I had over 16 invitations get lost in the mail, most of them all rip due to the tape you provided for sealing them, and lastly 10 plus RSVP postcards get lost in the mail. The amount of stamps and money I had spent to resend is so beyond frustrating not to mention rude. I am embarrassed by the fact that my invitations where destroyed when opening and mortified that so much got lost. While in theory this all seemed like such a affordable option in reality it if I could do it again I would never have went with your company. I will not be recommending minted to anyone!
My experience with minted was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a vendor. I ordered my save the dates and was very excited. For some reason the order duplicated and I was charged twice. I contacted Minted to cancel one of the orders, but they ended up canceling both orders. I contacted them again telling them this happened and they put the order back in my cart to reorder. As annoying as this was, I did not think it would turn into the ordeal that it has. When I went back into my cart to reorder the save the dates, the price had gone up over $100. I contacted Minted to ask if we could arrange for the original price as this did not seem fair since they canceled my original order. For the past two weeks, I have been ignored and told to wait, yet no one is getting back to me. The customer service has been useless and extremely frustrating. No one at Minted seems to want to help, especially when this whole issue was their fault from the beginning. I am so disappointed in this process and will never even think to use Minted for anything else and will make sure to spread the word. There are plenty of other save the date vendors to give my money to with much better customer service.
The first problem we had was that the website is unsecured, so for anyone with high security settings, they couldn't even access the page. The worst problem that we had was that we didn't upgrade to a premium site; we just used the webpage that had a random string of numbers and letters, and the majority of my guests found that, even when they were very careful to type it in correctly, the still couldn't access it. I had to send everyone a direct link electronically for it to work. Other than that, the website was poorly laid out, and the guidance for available layouts was not very good. They also try to trick you into paying more than you realized by having a million little fees for every little upgrade, instead of more/better streamlined packages. The invitations took longer to arrive than they said. The RSVP area was difficult to add guests, and not very smooth for them to RSVP. The links to our registry were also faulty, and it didn't give a good preview of the sites it was linking to. So, pretty much everything about this site sucked.
Website was down for 2 hours when trying to order, customer service gave me a 10% discount for this annoyance. Then the cards came and over 1/3rd of them had golden ink splotches all over. The customer service rep offered me another 10% off discount which didn't even cover the cost of the cards, not to mention the fact that Christmas was in 7 days and they had no option to reprint them and get them to me in time. I had to threaten to file a chargeback to get 50% of my money back. NEVER WILL I USE MINTED AGAIN!
I have ordered from Minted for years. The company no longer operates like it use to. The entire process was stressful from beginning to end. Proofs are suppose to come back 24-48 hours later. It took 6 days and countless emails and phones calls to finally get a proof. When the proof finally arrived none of the changes I requested had been applied. The process was once again delayed. After 2 weeks of a stressful proofing process the card seemed perfect. It was sent to production where it sat for over a week. I again had to call multiple times to get it to finally print. It arrived past the extended promised deadline. I was so excited to see the box but once I opened it half the product was damaged. The envelopes had foot prints, indents and splattered dirt everywhere. The other half was not even the product I ordered and 260 cards were missing. I sent pictures and video and rather than sending a replacement product out right away it took Minted a week to send. This is only after I contacted a manager (also took over an hour of waiting on the phone). Please be warned that turn around time is not what it use to be, give yourself a month of so of a cushion. Order very early. Also expect that they may package it damaged. The production is no longer in the US and even a manager can't get a hold of a person at production to explain that an order was sent out late, damaged, wrong and with missing parts. They can only email each other and they clearly have staffing issues so responses that days and days. Also, I only asked for a minor correction to a card. It was totally disregarded and sent as if. Defeating the proofing processes and further delaying the order. I loved this company, but it has fallen apart.
Ordered my WEDDING invitations and asked for a review... they arrived today and you cannot read it the font is soo small. So disappointing.
Do NOT trust these people with such an important event as a wedding or shower or any other special occasion. I ordered invitations for my daughters baby shower and they were terrible. The invitations were mint green and pink as I ordered but they sent me BLUE envelope liners and BLUE stickers. They were suppose to be mint green to go with the rest of the design. They wouldn't take my word for it, I had to leave work to go home and take a picture of the invitation! The customer service is HORRIBLE! On my first call I didn't even realize they hung up on me. I was still talking. 2nd call disconnected. 3rd call asked for a supervisor, waited on hold for 20 minutes and then it just disconnected again. I am still trying to get my problem resolved but couldn't wait to warn others to not use this vendor so you will not be put in my position. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I spent over 1K with this company in the last 9 months. Save the dates, wedding reception invites and thank you cards. They are ungodly expensive compared to other s similar capabilities however they can not seem to count or properly fulfill an order. Order #1 $400 and they sent me plain white envelopes when I paid an extra $100 for colored ones. Had to send my save the dates out late because I waited fot them to get me the correct envelopes. Second order - correct # of invites, wraps & RSVP cards but they shorted me envelopes (that order was $800) and today my third $300 dollar order of custom thank you cards arrived - I ordered 100 if and they sent me 85 envelopes! WTF is wrong with the fulfillment of these orders. Reading an order invoice and basic counting to 100 are skills taught in elementary school. DO NOT waste you hard earned money with this company as they are "forrest gumping" their way into the wedding industry and brides have enough other things to worry about than not having a reliable printer who can properly fulfill and order. It is a shame as they have great designs and the products are decent quality for a high price but the delays and frusteration of the fact that can't get anything correct the first time, is just plain not worth it! I'll not be working with them in the future and STRONGLY advise any future bride or new mom from working with them for anything!

This is the worst experience I've had with any company. First of all, I tried to make a card three times only to have their website crash after all of my hard work. I then placed my order on 12/12/19 after previewing my work and saving it several times. My card arrived on time, but without the text on the back. I write to customer service and here's what they say, "To rectify the issue, we will upgrade the shipping of the replacement to FedEx Rush. As part of our apology for the inconvenience, we would love to honor you for a refund and we will coordinate the amount you want to the appropriate team." Sounds great right? It's a bald face lie.
Here's the next email they send to me two days later.
"I would like to inform you that we can request a replacement via a new order, or if you would like, we can process a 50% refund to your order number ******* as a part of our apology." Well, I can't use the cards that I spent $200 on because of the missing text in the back. And now they have the nerve to offer me a %50 refund? They were 100% wrong. It is now 12/22/19 and they want me to redo my order and use their awful website. I ordered Christmas cards and there is no way I can send out my Christmas cards by Christmas. I refuse to re-order cards and risk spending more money on this when I already dumped $300 total in my order.
I used this company before and I assumed that because you spend a lot of money you will have a quality product and quality customer service. Well think again before you use Minted because their customer service is awful and their website crashes during the holiday season. I will never use Minted again and I strongly urge anyone reading this to use another site. It will save you time and hard earned money.
I ordered magnetic save the dates from them and the quality is TERRIBLE. They feel like they are printed on cheap printer paper and glued to a magnet. My professionally done photos are extremely pix-elated and blurry. They tried to blame it on my photos not being high enough resolution. Again, these are very nice high resolution professionally done photos. I received no error message when making the magnet that there was an issue with resolution. The screen preview was nice and clear but when they printed they were awful. I am on a time crunch to get new ones made and get them out and all they are offering me is $56 dollars when I paid $280. I never thought I would be saying this but save your money and use Shutterfly. Almost half of the price and 10 times the quality. These magnets are actually printed on photo paper with a semi gloss to them and compliment the quality of the photo taken as opposed to your flat run of the mill paper. I had a friend who used them and her save the dates were beautiful. The only reason I went with Minted in the first place was because they had more templates to choose from and also printed addresses on the envelopes. Which is also the only reason they are getting two stars instead of one. The customer service is horrible. I had to call them back when they were supposed to call me. The customer service representatives can't do anything except send the issue elsewhere. I am again waiting on them to call me back. I had to send them attachments of the photos I used after sending them a picture of their horrible product because they were still trying to blame it on my photos. Can't wait to hear what the next excuse will be. Bottom line is poor quality all around and don't expect the product to look like it does on the preview.
Do NOT trust that ANY of their products are accurately customizable. There are no words for the amount of run-around I have been given by this company. Poor customer service is an understatement. We were promised on multiple occasions that the custom colored products to match our wedding invitations would be possible. After one shipment that was not delivered at all, a reprint, MANY phonecalls, countless emails, and chat transcripts, we simply cannot get our products to match our wedding invitation suite and bridal shower invitations. I will never have the experience of a neatly matched theme or the vision of the decor at my wedding that I was committing to when I spent nearly 500 on my first round of paper products. As my invitations have already been sent, that is an experience I cannot get back. Save yourself the headache and go with a truly professional and customizable company such as WPD or vista print. Reviewer Nichole put it best when she said "You are sending out subpar stationery products for a once in a lifetime event and are most likely dealing with high emotional and financial stakes.
Unfortunately, she had the experience beforehand to not order her invitations from you. I did not. Now, I cannot unsend mine or retheme by event. When I look back on my detail photographs as other brides do I will only be able to think of how infuriated this company has made me. Shame, shame!
