No just no! All the way NO! LOOK AWAY AND RUN! First off their systems corrects itself to make it look like MetroPCS didn't make any mistakes. Whether it's notes or money the system corrects itself it's like they have someone in the back reviewing all transactions and notes and they are just deleting notes and adjusting the money. Second there is no refunds, EVER! They cancelled my account by mistake and it's even written on the notes. But the system adjusted my money. I made a payment in their store I don't even see in my payment history but I see it on my bank statement. Created a dispute and they said they see nothing wrong. I'm out $150 IN A PANDEMIC BECAUSE OF THIS SCAM COMPANY! PLEASE PLEASE DONT GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID DURING A PANDEMIC! THEY WILL NEVER CARE NO MATTER HOW MANY YEARS YOU HAVE BEEN THEIR CUSTOMER. I am absolutely furious with this horrendous phone company. You may think that because its so much cheaper its a good deal but its not, because you are affectively giving them money and receiving nothing in return. I called and worked with three separate customer service agents trying to get my phone set up for a trip to Europe. They told me the best international plan they had for Europe did not give me calling, but free unlimited texting with my unlimited data plan I already had in place. Little did I know and as they completely failed to explain, metro pcs literally has 0 service or reception in Europe. Im not exaggerating where I mean its just really really weak, they literally have no service here, which you would think at least one of the three customer service agents I asked about a European international plan might mention. That unlimited texting plan I got got? It means I can send texts when Im connected to WiFi. Wow gee thanks! Thats super $#*!ing useful! Oh wait no one I know is a $#*!ing scrub without an iPhone and So iMessage is the only thing I use anyway. And even if they didnt have iMessage there are about a billion apps that let you talk for free with WiFi. This not only meant that I had no ability to contact people, it meant that I was stranded in foreign countries where I did not speak the language with no ability to contact people for help, get directions anywhere, or look up important information. I felt extremely unsafe many times. Metro PCS completely ruined my vacation which I had been planning for months. Horrible, manipulative, deceptive phone company. Absolute joke.
So after 10 years with metro pcs and telling everyone how happy I was with their service even though in the early days it was a little hard getting signal in some of my local area. The unlimited plan could not be beat! But since T mobile took over the service has been sketchy. For the last 6 or 7 months now. I've lost track... every other month after I pay my bill I start out with no service even though I'm right near a tower. So they Then reset my ph. Sometimes that worked other times I had to keep calling them over and over again. Just to have to go over the whole situation and reason for calling. Also I had found out from freinds and customers that they have been calling. Leaving messages and texting me. I wasn't getting any of those things. Did I mention this is my buisness phone as well as personal phone. All this time there was only one offer to credit me a couple of days for not having service! That was last month. Now their trying to tell me it's my galaxy 8 phone thats the problem not their service. Every other month?... Really? After 10 going on 11 years of being a customer and never receiving a thing from them like some kind of real break on the cost of a new GOOD phone! Or credited a month for losing buisness it's just the out sourced "happy happy joy joy" rep on the other end of the line saying " sorry to hear your leaving... by now". Another example of "we don't give a f@#k about the customers. And I just paid two months in advance. Hey tmobile/metro if your listening and give a s&*t about losing a once loyal customer you might reach out and do something to make this right. If not

Ok…guess it's time to switch back to cricket…this is 2nd month in a row I fully pay my bill and still manage to get turned off… I have paid $108 since October, I open my app pay off then go on about my day…I paid on 8th for my 9th payment and woke up today off…open app and there's a $30 pmt due…mind u that's the state discount…that according to them doesn't start til Jan bill… yet I've paid $108 since Oct…umm lil shady…Cricket Wireless here we come in March after our 6 months is up and we can unlock the phones….yours truly, Pissed off customer
I have been with Metro Pcs for about
12 years. But now they changed the policy for something that makes you stay away from them. I bought the Lg Stylus 6 which is the worst phone ever, the screen even at 100 brightness is too dim you have to go and look for a shadow to be able to see it if you are outside, it can not keep Amazon music running on the background if you use any kind of delivery apps like uber eats and something else one will go offline so it can not keep the two online the processor runs slow. I went to metro to exchange it and since i had ab account with them they would not exchange it or refund it even though it was under 30 of talk time. They say that metro no longer do exchanges or refunds on existing customer. The refunds and exchanges was only for new customers and it was under one hour or talk time and can not use the internet. So i guess you buy the phone and put it in the back of your closet for 7 days so you can not use it for anything. That is the dumbest thing ever. Shame on you Metro Pcs. I suggest you go there look at the phone and buy it at Amazon or Ebay its cheaper and guaranteed. I already post this review on their website and they didnt publish it. They dont publish bad reviews. But stay away from the Lg Stylus and Metro Pcs.
I switched from sprint who i was with for over 3 yrs. Not 100% happy with sprint so i was checking around at my options. I was told if i switched to metro i could keep my number and after i made my second payment i would recieve a visa gift card for $100. I had planned to upgrade my phone when i got the card. After making my 3rd payment i asked about it. The girl was very nice and helpped me through the process. I was given a tracking number and i recieved a text that said i would recieve it in i think it wad 10-12 weeks. 3days later i got an email saying i didn't quallify. I feel like they didn't keep their end of our deal. Service is great but they got me. Not good business.
I was with this company for 10 years and I used to think it was a good deal. I recently switched to Xfinity because they offered a better deal by combining my internet and phone bill. I called Metro PCS after switching to cancel my account with them and to ask about refunding the balance on my account and I was told in no uncertain terms that they would not refund the money and they are keeping it. I have a habit of paying my bills a few months in advance whenever possible and my cheap phone bill was at least 2 or 3 months paid in advance that's maybe 100-150 dollars that they refuse to refund me. (Stick 'Em' Up) It's highway Robbery! I also had a miscellaneous balance from when I needed to use the hot spot, I had an extra 20 dollars left over on my account that I didn't end up spending and I was told that the money could not be used towards paying my bill so I left it in case I needed extra hotspot data again someday but never spent it. So that's 120-170 dollars they have now stolen from me. Their reasoning was that I should have called them before I canceled my account instead of doing it through Xfinity and because I failed to do so they will not return my money. That's worse than bad business it's thievery!
I've used metro pcs for a about four months, they are worst company I have ever dealt with, I went there and upgraded my phone literally two days later after purchasing a brand new phone the screen went black, they would not replace it or do anything about it when I got the phone I had two lines when I went in after the phone broke I asked them to cancel one line the guy said he canceled it I was on auto pay for the next two months they still charged me for the two lines after I canceled it so I had called and asked for a refund for the extra line I was paying they said it was my fault for paying that amount and I should of known that I was paying the extra amount so they will not give me a refund so they basically stole almost 400 $ from me and they don't care about customers just about money stay far away from this company they have the worst customer service I've ever seen they will not rectify any situation worst experience ever sad to say but I switched to a different company.
They pulled a fast one on me at the store. I switched and thought I got a free phone. I thought they charged a lot for their activation, since my bill was 190 dollars. I get home and looked on my receipt, they changed me for a phone and service which should not have happened. Also I ended that their activation is expensive and the clerk did not explain the charges at that moment, although she had an opportunity to explain the charges at that point

While in the hospital from 6/24 - 6/27 I noticed that my phone was charging very slowly.On 6/28 I took my phone and charger to the local Metro by T-Mobile in Fort Payne Alabama.The young lady named Jayda told me I needed a new charger. I asked if they had one in store that was compatible with my phone. She went in the back and then returned with two separate boxes: one for the cord and one for the plug-in. She said each one would be $19.95 but she could give me a discount on one of them. So she rang it up and the total was $49.04. That sounded extremely steep but at this point I was in a hurry, as I had an ear appointment directly and I didn't want to have to put up with any more slow charging crap, so I just paid it anyway. On returning home I plugged the charger into my phone and lo and behold, it gave a message that the charger is incompatible with the phone. So I returned to the store and then was told by Jada that she could not give me a refund because she gave me a discount on both items. That was a bold-faced lie. At this point I was pissed off and I told her she was a lying sack of s***. She told me to get out of her store and never come back. As I was walking out with my cane she and a male stood and laughed at me. I do not at all recommend this place as they are basically a sewage dump armpit. Do yourself a favor and go to a legitimate place for your cell phone needs.

Metro service is not a bad one it is pretty decent, but upon calling for an issue agents will not help you out in any way if name and number can benot be verified after checking the actual app I confirmed my name and told the agent both Spanish and English alike and they said they couldn't match the name because nothing was coming up. How is that my fault? Their system did not provide my full name which I used my driver's license when I first signed up for the service and the name I had changed it to for the caller I.d. only. Agents made no attempt to try and find a way for me to access my account to provide me details on why everytime I changed my service to wi fi it kept going back to metro data to run it down. It is horrible to be told that I have to go into a store when I am admitted into a hospital and can not go. And I just want to resolve the issue right now that my funds are low since I haven't been able to work because of my current health conditions. Most companies will find a way to assist you being a customer but this company has horrible customer service. Do not get metro by t mobile. I recommend for cheap and good plans maybe visible by Verizon. Will not recommend to anyoneservice from Metro ever again

I was out of state and ended up maxing out my data due to not being able to connect to a secure wifi network. I ended up having to top of my data but due to not having a stable connection there was a lag issue and ended up double purchasing the top off. Due to the lag only one payment was paid so it caused a outstanding balance on my account.
Metro then disconnected my number til the outstanding payment as received. Due to the family emergency I was attending to, I was not able to sit down on hold for any considerable time to resolve the matter that.
When I finally got through to CS, they told me they had disconnected my number due to the double charge. They refused to remove the second charge. They then offered to upgrade my service plan at on charge to an unlimited data plan if I made an additional payment to cover the double top off charge. I was out of state so I agreed to make the payment to resolve the matter.
The following month, the unlimited data was never added to my plan.
PLEASE REPOST AS MANY PLACES AS POSSIBLE!
So i paid my phone bill today with metro... and not only is my service still not on they have now charged 92 bucks out of my account yet my bill was only 46 bucks when i call they told me "sry call ur bank we dont have ur payment" i cant call my bank since they cut my service. I am out 92 dollars and no service WTF METRO taking my money and not providing the service is breach of contract( yes i know they are a month to month service but there is still a contract in use stating that if i pay $46 then i will have service for 30 days) plus taking the extra money is theft. This is BULL$#*!! This is not right. I cant sue them as i am low income and cant afford a lawyer... please share so others can b aware of the shady and underhanded dealing that metro and tmobile practice
