I purchased a dress for my daughter based on her typical sizing. These dresses run extremely small! She is typically a size 0/XS. I ordered the XS and it was beyond tiny! I sent back for a return and ordered a size Small and Medium as to make sure which would fit better. They give you store
Credit! They do NOT let you exchange for a different size.
Very poor customer service!
They will not issue your return in the original form of payment. So if you buy multiple sizes to try, you are stuck with the dresses, or with spending that amount of money at the site. My daughter got caught by this sketchy policy, and we are now stuck with hundreds of dollars into this site. Lesson learned. Once this credit is used, I will never buy anything from the site again.

I ordered 2 in-stock dresses on 8/31. After 3 weeks, they still had not even shipped. I contacted them for an update and was told they were no longer in stock and would be delayed several weeks. I canceled the order and received an email from them with my refund confirmation. 3 more weeks have no passed and no refund. I have sent several emails, a text, reached out on Instagram and attempted 11 online chats. Each time I try the online chat, I wait in a long queue and just when it's about to be my turn, it conveniently logs me off and I have to start again. No one responds, they don't have a phone number to call. This place is a scam. They don't ship the merchandise and conveniently are unreachable when you want information about your refund. Stay away! There are so many other websites to get the same type of merchandise who are not a big disaster like this. One of the worst retail experiences of my life.
Bought a black cutout dress under prom dresses in their menu and the quality is super poor. There is a flap of fabric considered a ‘cutout' that just sits and is super unflattering. Shipped a week later than it was supposed to.
This is the second dress I've ordered, and it's been over a month. I have emailed three times and not once did they respond. Do not order from them. They do not give you your money back on returns either, store credit is useless.
Not only are the items overpriced but they are VERY poor quality for what you're paying for. Not to mention if you don't like it or it doesn't fit, the best they can offer you is store credit. I've ordered three different times through them (only because I had store credit from the 1st time I ordered through them) and almost all of my orders have failed to come at the expected delivery date. One item will come in time but then the others arrive extremely late. I had ordered a couple of dresses for Hoco through them, and only one came in time (mind you I ordered them plenty ahead of time so that'd they be here in time). Unfortunately the one dress that actually came within the expected delivery date didn't fit me. The other one I ordered came like a week after my Hoco so it was practically useless. Would never recommend this store to ANYONE.

So disappointed. I cancelled an order because it would not arrive in time for the event. Was told on 9/20/21 it would take 10 business days to get my credit. With an additional 1-3 days to hit the account. Nothing. Sent 2 messages to the company. No response. Tried the live chat…. 2 hours waiting and nothing. Googled the address, it's a vacant commercial building. No dress. No credit. And I wasn't going to post a review but unfortunately they have not returned any messages since the credit was suppose to arrive, which makes me believe it's not a legit business.
I ordered two dresses a month ago that never even shipped by the latest day that they were supposed to ARRIVE. I emailed multiple times and didn't receive a reply until a week later when they cancelled my order for me. I never got any notification from them that my dresses would be late or anything. The woman who emailed me back gave no explanation to why my dresses didn't come and only told me that she cancelled my order. Horrible company and horrible customer service.
The dress isn't bad. It's cute. But the quality is very lacking. The bottom hem of the dress was so uneven that I had to take it to a seamstress to get it fixed. $158 to hem and fix the dress on a $76 dress. And the strap is a little frayed where it connects to the point that I'm afraid it'll break during my daughter's event. But it's too close to the event to do anything else. They're one of the only companies to carry xxs and actually be true to size (if not a tad small), which is a plus, but the quality is severely lacking. One use only. Hopefully she makes it through that!
Never shop here! If you are planning an outfit for an event you will never get it in time - everything is apparently on "pre-order" and you are not told until you purchase it and they ship your order out a month later! I deliberately ordered in advance and their shipping estimate was in my timeframe... but dont be fooled.

I personally love Lucy in the Sky, this is the first semi bad encounter i've had with them. My package seemed to be sitting at a ware house for a couple of day's so I decided to contact customer service. I didn't get an answer for a little while, then they had answered me. They apologized immediately and told me how long my package would take and it was a good 3 weeks! Then it said that my package shipped a few hours after I had texted them. So it was good until shipping complications happened.
My daughter had her years 6 graduation and ordered two dresses in November 2023, the graduation was in December so there was time to receive the dresses, after several back and forth emails we are still waiting and it's January 10th 2024 no dresses, no refund and no store credit,not that I would use the store credit as we don't receive the items so it's pointless. Please do yourself a favour and don't order from this site….
I ordered 2 dresses a month from my event and only received 1. When I contacted them about the dress they said it would get shipped out after due to website traffic. Website showed my dress would of been received on time. I asked them to cancel my dress. They said about 10 business days (and additional 2-3 days) to receive my refund. I had to file a dispute and they only partially refunded me for a dress I never received. Do not buy here!

The dress is perfect and even more stunning in person. I love the sequence on the straps and slight amount of shimmering details. Definitely a must buy. You can use a white or silver shoe with it and dress it up or down. Also the customer service was quick and efficient. I used Apple Pay and it made it ship to the wrong address. I used the websites chat feature and they were able to immediately fix it.

I return by dress and cannot get by credit. Poor customer service, can't get ant help. I would never buy again from this company, I knew I was taking risk when buying. Their clothes run very small and they are not good quality!
Fits perfectly and looks exactly like the photos! Good material, however, the strings are extremely long and don't tie double like in the photo so I'm going to cut them. Overall happy with my purchase!
I pre-ordered a dress in July which should have been shipped by August 21. Due to a high increase in orders shipping was delayed for 2 1/2 weeks. Customer Service gave me a $25 credit for my inconvenience. Usually customer service by email only is not very effective. Lucy in the sky is an exception to the rule.
While unfortunately my dress was unable to be shipped in time, customer service was good at helping me solve the issue. I do however wish I would've been notified that the company was experiencing delays.

I had an exchange I wanted to do but needed a quick turn around. The customer service was quick and easy….they responded promptly and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend Lucy in the Sky to others.
