So I order three dresses, one of which there was an error with on their end somehow, and I ended up having to reorder. Basically I was told I'd get a refund on my debit card after 10 business days, which is a long time to wait when you've spent a couple hundred dollars. I never received my refund and I never received my dresses on my first order or the one dress I had to reorder. I've been in contact with customer service over email and every day I get a response with no answers, just inaccurate dates as to when my refund and dresses will arrive or automatic responses. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME shopping at Lucy in the sky, no matter how cute the dresses may be. You'll likely never receive your order or get a refund. Not to mention they charge you for your order before anything has even been shipped.
Shipping is horrible. I dont even live that far from LA yet it took two weeks to even get into the USPS system. Then i never got my dress in time even when using the First Class Shipping. I suggest ordering your dress 1-2 months before you want to receive it in time for your function. No matter how pretty these dresses are, I'm NEVER ordering from here AGAIN.
Cheaply made damaged! Customer service is sneaky and will waste your time trying to run you around instead of actually helping. Had to open for a refund
This company is comically awful! Their customer service is laughable. They take weeks to respond. The last day of my delivery window (for 5 dresses) was Oct 13. I reached out in October 14 - asking for a refund and to cancel the order. They responded "if you agree to wait until October 29, we will give you a $25 credit or you can simply cancel your order for a refund to the original payment method under the 'My Account' page of the website". This is total BS. Their website does not allow this function. I emailed again. No response. Then last week 4 dresses showed up, today 1 more dress. Minutes after it was delivered today they sent an email saying something like "our apologies for the slow response in replying, but we see your order was received and everything was resolved". EXCUSE ME? These dresses were needed weeks ago and I reached out multiple times. The company is shady and I will never do business again. My teenage daughters plan to blast them on social media. Good luck "Lucy in the sky". There are plenty of other dress companies with reliable service and communication and comparable products.
Cute designs but terrible quality for the price you pay. And they don't offer refunds, only store credit so you can order more poorly made items. 10/10 do not recommend.
Bought two different dresses to surprise my girlfriend. They shipped quickly and she loved them both! I had a few questions before buying and customer service was great at getting back to me.
It took 38 days to receive my order. Minimal to no help when contacting the company. They do not offer cash back. I will certainly not be ordering from them again.

If you want a dress with a certain time frame the Do Not Order From Lucy In The Sky! Ordered dress on Sept 10th. Was suppose to be delivered between Sept 23 and Oct. 5th. They ask you not to contact them until after that time frame. Oct 5th came- No Dress, No tracking number. Emailed them on Oct 5th. No response for 7 days! Then response was " we have had such high demand on our dresses so a lot are on back order and yours is one of them ( really our order had been placed for a month and never a notification that it was on backorder) but good news your dress will ship out around Oct 31st." My daughter's homecoming was Oct 21st. They offered a 25.00! Store credit if we waited until Oct 31st or a refund. We will Never order from here again. My daughter was devastated that she never got her HOCO dress and we had to scramble to find one

I ordered from Lucy in the Sky two times now. Both times, the dresses shipped AFTER the date they were expected to arrive. It's now been two months and I'm still waiting on two dresses. When I emailed customer service, they asked for my Order ID and then never responded again when I emailed them back. It sucks that their shipping and customer service sucks since I like their dress and quality. I suggest shopping at HELLO MOLLY or PRETTYLITTLETHING since they have similar dresses and actually ship in a decent amount of time.
A dress order was not fulfilled. Only because I contacted Lucy in the Sky did I discover they were not going to deliver my daughter's dress. Lucy in the Sky offered to refund the my money but never did, until I filed a complaint with my CC company. STAY AWAY!
I ordered two dresses, only one of them came. I needed both of them for a very important ocassion, when I reahced out to them they took a very long time to respond and weren't clear on what I asked. So, I reached out again and they never responded. Very disappointed.

I bought a dress that was good material but it was just too short on me and unflattering so I returned it. I received store credit from the dress (not including money spent on shipping which was understandable). I decided to get another dress from the website with the store credit a month ago. The dress on the website showed it was in stock and the latest it would of been delivered was 5 days ago. I didn't received any emails, updates, or any messages including in my account on my order only that my order was received. I talked to customer service about my order just to find out it wasn't even SHIPPED yet and I was offered a refund. I was annoyed I had to find out by waiting in a queue that my order was so delayed it wouldn't get here anytime soon. I decided to take the refund so I just get my money back at this point but I was given store credit. I don't want to buy anything from this website again. I was just trying to get a simple black dress and got scammed 60 dollars.

My daughter ordered dresses she needed for an event. The soonest shipping was 2 weeks out. There is NO option for expedited shipping. I was told it would "arrive by" date. Hoping it would arrive sooner... but also told I'd get tracking info sent 2 days before it ships. As we sit at the 1 day before it would arrive and still no tracking info I reached out for an update, to find out that now they won't arrive for another 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. They didn't contact me to tell me this... I had to contact them! Not acceptable in customer service. So now my daughter needs a dress for next week with no time to find one. Their return policy is not good either - but due to this issue they are actually offering a refund! But clearly stated if I don't cancel and the shipment goes as normal, it's only store credit if I need to return something. They have some cute dresses but don't order from them if you need something by a certain time line or if you are unsure if you need to return an item (unless you are ok with store credit). Their online chat feature as the only positive I have so far about the company.

First off, I ordered a Large Lavender Party Dress with Sequence. What I received was a low quality plain pink dress in a MEDIUM. Clearly not the right order. I emailed them about this and the options on how to deal were a JOKE. First, a 10 dollar store credit? For a Dress that was at LEAST 20 dollars LESS than the one I ordered? I LOSE MONEY DOING THAT. Second, a full refund if you return the dress. Understandable, EXCEPT the website is so bad I have tried to reset my password THREE TIMES and instead of getting an email about what my new password is, it ONLY tells me that it has changed, not even disclosing what it even is. How am I supposed to return it if I can't even get into my account? Would give zero stars on service. I want the dress I ordered or my money back why is it MY responsibility to deal with YOUR mistake?
I took fashion design so I read up on the reviews and verified the materials used in the outfit I ordered for the quality. It arrived and looks exactly as the picture was shown, same color, same make, same material, and fit exactly as I prayed since I'm extremely petite with a 23" waist. I like my clothes to fit tightly and secure with sexy sets. I ordered the Monroe Ruffle skirt set, in baby blue. I haven't worn a skirt since I was 15 and hated them but I feel better about the style.
It's gorgeous! I ordered two more outfits a few days ago, (dresses), that I will post in my next review with this outfit I received. I actually waited to receive the first outfit because of bad reviews to see how legit the site is…turns out just a bunch of angry customers or user error on address with shipping, things happen I guess and people try to get free stuff I assume. It shipped immediately and arrived in 2 days, even though I did not pay for express shipping.
The next outfit of the 2 I ordered yesterday, has also been scheduled to ship out 2 weeks earlier then the expected ship date. Super excited to finally find clothes that fit my tiny body structure! Even more excited to finally attempt a dress in hot pink!
My daughter ordered the cora ruffle white romper from lucy in the sky and the coral ruffle cream romper from princess polly on may 19th. Today its June 13th and not word from lucy in the sky. The white outfit she wanted to wear for graduation, which is four days away. Princess pollys romper arrived three weeks ago. Not word on her white romper. Graduation is in 3 days. I told her to cancel the order. I handle shipping for my company and after she told me about the shipping, I know she would not get her outfit for 30-45 days. It said DHL/FedEx. This means it begins as an international order. DHL then delivers to the nearest fedex ground terminal for departure or delivery. They do NOT have most of their items in a warehouse. The clothes are being produced in a sweatshop and directly shipped to the customer. They are a very unorganized dropshipper at best.
I ordered a dress on July 6th at the price of $91 with 10% off. It was too small so I returned it for a store credit since you cant exchange. In 2 days they raised the price of the same dress by $6.50. I also couldn't use the 10% off with the store credit when I tried to replace my order. I tried to ask for the same price through customer service but they were not helpful at all. They have the nastiest attitudes and were not helpful at all. They wouldn't honor the the same price I originally ordered it for. Such a scam and probably illegal they should all be thrown in jail.
The dress we ordered had still not shipped past the expected ship date. Customer care responded promptly and offered different choices to mediate the problem.

I find this wonderful online store via instragram and I am so glad I did because aren't like others online storea whose clothing looks different in person, Lucy in the sky clothes look exactly just like they are advertised on pictures so happy n will order again from them :)

Answer: Sorry but my experience, normally three weeks minimum. Sometimes longer. Don't rely on shipment date given at time of purchase either.
