I was worried about purchasing online from a new to me company but found their instant messaging reps to be super responsive and helpful. I will be purchasing more sorority dresses from my daughter from Lucy in the sky.
I ordered a pink satin two piece skirt set for my 21st birthday and it came out great! Very nice material, the skirt was a little see through but it's hard to get around that since it's a light pink and satin. Very cute though!
We have had nothing but problems with this company. Dresses ordered with an estimated shipping date a month away (still in time for our event) didn't ship on time. When I called they said it would be another month. I was given no notice. Had I not called, we wouldn't have known. I had to order a new dress and hope it arrives in time. That dress dropped $30 in price the day after purchase and they refused to price adjust even though we were only having to purchase that option due to their mistake. This is not the first time we have had shipping/return issues. I know several others that have had similar situations. I would advise anyone to use caution when ordering through this company.
These clothes are extremely poor quality. They will force you to keep the items or replace with other very poor quality clothing. These items are not meant to be worn, only con you out of your money. This place is a scam.

Do not order from this company. The dress was so short my daughter isn't even tall and they will only give a story credit. They wanted a picture of her in the dress to determine whether or not it was too short for her, even though I already mailed it back in the time allotted.

My daughter is a challenging size. We ordered and got it within a few days, it didn't fit and we reached out and they were extremely helpful in helping us get a new order as quickly as possible. The online chat is one the best features to the website! Will continue to order from them.
Buyer beware….
I ordered 4 dresses for my daughter to try on for a Bar Mitzvah. I also ordered from Lulu's. I was planning to return what did not fit her. I unfortunately did not clearly read the return policy which is my fault…. But I am very disappointed that I can only get a store credit that expires, As I will not shopping here anymore!
Lulu's has a great return policy. It is very hard for a 12 year old to know the fit by reading reviews online…
I ordered my homecoming dress on September 16 because my homecoming is on October 16! I was thinking that would be plenty of time but no. They haven't responded to any of my customer service emails and the chats are never available. As far as I know they still haven't shipped my damn dress.
I would not recommend this place at all! I ordered a dress of my daughter a month ago come to find out the company put them put the wrong address, so FedEx shipped it back and then never contacted me. My daughters dance is next week, and now I have no dress. I tried contacting the company, and all you get is a business Signal. I tried emailing no response, so not only do I not have a dress I am out $100.

Complete scam, they don't let you return anything once you buy unless it's for store credit. They then never ship any orders that you try to buy with store credit. They just took $200 for nothing. Complete scam. No phone number to call. They say there's a Live Chat but there is none. So hard to reach.
This place offers such a wide variety of dress it's amazing! I love that they have SO many different styles of dresses in every color! Also, I am on the shorter side, so their dresses fit me shorter which NEVER happens and I love it.
This site has the cutest clothes, and good customer service. Occasionally shipping has been delayed but other times it's pretty fast! Can't complain too much lol. Would recommend if you're looking for cute dresses for teens or for yourself if you're in your 40s like me and still like to dress cute lol.
I ordered the Larissa Puff Sleeve Mesh Dress in Black Shimmer and the fabric/pattern used to make the dress was not even close to the same. The pictures and video on the website clearly show a black dress with a bit of sparkle to it. It is a small amount that shimmers in the light. The sparkles on my dress are like small polka dots that happen to be sparkly. The first picture shows the photo on the website and the other two are what the dress actually looks like.
My daughter needed a dress for her banquet event (in a week) and ordered a couple of dresses from Lucy in the Sky. Then we realized we won't be able to get the dresses on time. Within an hour, I used their online chat and asked to cancel the order. They did cancel it without asking any questions. I received an email stating refund will be processed within 10 business days. 15+ business days past, no refund. I then emailed *******@lucyinthesky.email. Leeza replied and said refund will be posted in 5 business days. Based on poor reviews on here, I was preparing not receiving refund. However, in the 5th day, I got an email from Paypal informed me refund was sent to my account. 2 days later, I received the refund. I give the company 4 stars based on my experience (minus one star for needing to contact customer services for refund).
The dresses are super cute but when I ordered it, it never arrived. Super bummed since I was going to use it for graduation. It's been almost a week and I still haven't heard any updates on whether I'll be issued a refund.
I purchased a dress in 9/1/22 with a delivery date of 9/16-9/24. Dress arrived 10/4. After the event I was planning on wearing it. I return the dress on 10/18, Lucy in the Sky confirmed receipt of dress and said I would receive a refund in 10 days. No refund was received. I emailed again on 11/7. They promised I would receive a refund in 5 days. No refund received. I emailed again on 11/25. No response.
At this point, 3 months after purchasing a dress, I have no dress and I'm out $64. How is this legal?

I got an xs which was still a little loose but it won't be much of an issue to bring it in on the sides! I'm pretty happy with the dress overall and I was surprised to receive a dress that didn't feel cheap.
I ordered a dress more than a month ago, and when i complained about it, they canceled it on their own, such thieves.
This was my first time ordering from their website and I'm extremely upset and disappointed.
Please never order from such scammers!
Wanted a dress for my 21st bday got one from lucy in the sky and then i didn't get any updates from them and when i finally emailed them to ask they said it wouldn't ship out in time so i could have a refund or 25 dollars in store credit which doesn't get you anything) so i asked for refund and it's been more than a week and they haven't given me a refund i've emailed them with my order number to check the status and they take forever to reach back out honestly the dresses are pretty but they'll take forever to get to you and forget it if you have any complications with your order and need a refund or anything bc i'm still going through that. UGH

Answer: Sorry but my experience, normally three weeks minimum. Sometimes longer. Don't rely on shipment date given at time of purchase either.
