I placed my order the first week of october for an event on November 1st. When i placed my order, it said it would be shipped out within 6-12 business days. I emailed multiple times throughout this duration asking when my order would be shipped and they kept assuring me it would be in the 6-12 day window. The day before my event, my order had still not shipped almost one month later, and they informed me it would not be shipped out until November 5th. They then offered me a refund, on November 1st. It is now November 18th and i still have not received my refund, and keep getting the same pre-made message that it takes time. This is absolutely bull$#*!. I did not receive my order nor my refund and their customer service representatives are anything but helpful. Yes they have cute products but nothing extraordinary. Save your time and your money and steer clear from this terrible website.
Do yourself a favor and don't trust the estimated shipping times on any of their products. If you need something by a specific date, add a few weeks to the date they give you. I understand things might be busy and stressful during the holiday season but there's no excuse for promising customers a date of delivery that is simply not anywhere close to being true. Their customer service team is also extremely unhelpful. Just buy your dress somewhere else.
They will not refund your money even if their shipping is delayed past the time you need your order. Most stores give refunds if you return the clothes unworn, still with tags, within 30 days. NOT THIS STORE. They give you store credit only, and their styles are extremely limited to very skimpy styles. There is NO VARIETY, so forget it if you need something to wear and you don't live in LA or Miami. They do not have the variety of other online stores. I regret shopping here so much. They treat their customers like garbage if you want to return an item and get a refund. Stay away!
Tried a dress. Did not work out. Too skimpy for my Child. Only store credit offered. What if we don't want anymore of your crap? Is this the only way you make money?
We order 2 dresses. One came in and it was not even close to the size we order. It took over a month just to get the one dress. I returned the dress and have not received my refund. The other dress, we never got it.

So, let me just say I willll never ever ever ever order from this terrible company ever again. I ordered two dresses that took wayyyy too long to get. I returned both dresses before they shipped bc it was sooo delayed and got my money back for one only one dress. Well, they still shipped the other dress as well. The dress (which was $65) was terrible quality. I sent it back after emailing three times to get the return label. Legit. There is no customer service phone number, so u have to wait in this painfully long online chat queue that continuously kicks you out. Then, you go back to the end of the line. So, after I sent the dress back I waited about 3 weeks to check to get my refund for the dress they erroneously shipped. Well, I never got my refund! After waiting another 20 minutes to talk to someone online, they told me I could not get my money back, but only a store credit. I don't want to ever shop with you guys again! I didn't want a credit, I want my money. I was so annoyed and just utterly disgusted with their customer service and lack of decency I reported them to the BBB. Worst company ever.
They're late in delivery. There is NO customer service - at all. I bought 4 dresses and had to return them all - individually because they were sent over 2-3 weeks apart - and have never received any store credit or any type of remuneration for the returns. I will NEVER shop here again. Do not be convinced by the inexpensive prices. If you change your mind, there is ZERO recourse for you.
This company is comically awful! Their customer service is laughable. They take weeks to respond. The last day of my delivery window (for 5 dresses) was Oct 13. I reached out in October 14 - asking for a refund and to cancel the order. They responded "if you agree to wait until October 29, we will give you a $25 credit or you can simply cancel your order for a refund to the original payment method under the 'My Account' page of the website". This is total BS. Their website does not allow this function. I emailed again. No response. Then last week 4 dresses showed up, today 1 more dress. Minutes after it was delivered today they sent an email saying something like "our apologies for the slow response in replying, but we see your order was received and everything was resolved". EXCUSE ME? These dresses were needed weeks ago and I reached out multiple times. The company is shady and I will never do business again. My teenage daughters plan to blast them on social media. Good luck "Lucy in the sky". There are plenty of other dress companies with reliable service and communication and comparable products.
Lucy in the sky customer service is terrible my daughter had ordered few dresses from the website for her home coming which did not fit her and she tried to return the same she received the dresses on sept 26th its been more than a month and no body has responded for how to return the items no return label send after multiple emails still waiting to hear back from them.
I ordered 2 dresses on Sept. 7th and received confirmation that I would receive them Sept 22nd - Oct. 1st. I received 1 dress on time but it had a defect. By Sept. 29th the second dress still had not arrived, no shipping information, nothing. I sent an email requesting the order be canceled since it was not going to arrive with in the time frame they promised. They did not respond for a few days, then they responded telling me to cancel the order in my account, which there is no option to do. I emailed them at their customer service email again and asked them to cancel the rest of the order and refund me. Then, a few days later, a week after I canceled the order, they shipped the second dress (a full 29 days after I ordered it). I have since sent back both of the dresses I received. Lucy in the Sky received the returns on Oct. 7th. It is now October 29th, no refund has been issued. I have emailed several times asking about my refund and I have received no communication at all from them. They have completely stopped responding. They are required by law to notify me of delayed shipments and they are required by law to give me refund and so far they are ignoring the laws. I had to finally send in a dispute with my credit card company.

I think they're lying about that…if I can order from other companies in LA and have my stuff shipped and delivered to me in less than a week, then there's no excuse. So either lying or lazy af. Also the dresses are all like- carbon copies of each other but in different colors and prints? It seems they only do basic styles and are focused on one demographic (of body). The quality is, not what you paid for. 40$-50$? Jeez try 20$-30$. (Less even!) Oh and they NEVER restock. So if you wanted something and it's gone, welp, say goodbye. All in all, very bad. There are way better companies who deserve your money, this one isn't one of them. Hell even SHEIN is better than these people. Ugh. Stay away from this gross company. They won't treat you right. Dishonest, scummy, shallow, incompetent, inconsistent, the list goes on…
I had ordered two dress they came in late and I wanted to return them. I sent them back around 1 week ago and I emailed them, so that I could know if they received my order back and when I would get my store credit. They do not respond to my emails at all if anything they send an automatic response every time I email them. Before the dresses even shipped I asked to cancel my order because i know longer needed them and they told me they already shipped when they weren't even shipped yet. Terrible service. Would rather have a refund than getting store credit because of how bad they have been.

Don't waste your money! I ordered a dress on 9/14, it was supposed to be delivered by 10/8, so I waited until then to reach out when I had no information about my package. No shipping email, no tracking number, nothing. I reached out to customer service on 10/11 asking for an update, no response. 10/21, I reach out again asking for a refund since the dress definitely wasn't coming. Finally got a response. The dresses are a little expensive to have horrible customer service and take over a month to ship within the US. Do not recommend.
Order a dress for my daughter's homecoming 4 weeks later still no dress…. Can't cancel my order. I was given a window of when we should receive the dress which was October 8th-19th it didn't ship until the 21st and as of today we still don't have it! My daughter needed a dress for Homecoming. We ordered 4 dresses from Lucy in the Sky a month and a half before the event. We ordered 4 because there is no Lucy in the Sky store to try on items. One dress came in time for the dance and the 3 others came 2 months later. Shame on us we didn't realize that returns were only for store credit. However, good luck even getting the store credit. The 3 dresses that arrived 2 months after the order, I was told on my account were not eligible to return because it was not within the 14 days after I ordered it. What a joke. There is no person to call and 2 emails sent to "customer service" have never been answered. BUYER beware, this store is a scam.
I'd give Lucy in The Sky zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible service from this company. I have tried contacting them via phone but there is no phone number that you can actually talk to a real person.
I ordered twice from this company, the first dress was of mediocre quality at best, as if someone made during their lunch break, but it came only after a few days. While "processing my second order they showed their true incompetence as a business. I emailed them 3 times to make sure they will honor the extended (4 weeks - who does that?!) shipping window. They kept giving me their answers as if they were coping them from some prompts, but continued promising I will receive the dress within the given window. Only after the end of the window they told me they will not be mailing the dress for another two weeks. I am still waiting. This is simply awful way of doing business. I wound never order from them again.
