I ordered two dresses more than a month ago for my homecoming that is coming up this weekend, and they have not even shipped yet. It's ridiculous, ive tried emailing them and got no help.
The dress advertised online was a light opaque blue. What I got is a pale pastel light blue dress. I used snapchats color picker/dropper so you can see the difference in the color. Also the outer sequins lining this dress goes above the lining of the dress for the cowell neck and it is very itchy and uncomfortable. The dress on the model has the light blue fabric through out the whole dress so I'm not sure why mine is so different. Not at all the same dress as advertised. This was not worth the $70 I paid for it.
So, we ordered a dress on 9/19 (still no dress 25 days later)... sent a status request and got an excuse of "we are busy" from the company. I asked for expedited shipping, was told "you have already answered." Respect your $ and go to a different, more appreciative, efficient vendor.
I made an order on September 14 and it is October 12 and I still haven't received a tracking number for my package. It said my package would be delivered between Sep. 29 and Oct. 8 and I haven't gotten an email or anything. My dress didn't even come in time for homecoming and that's why I ordered from them. I wrote an email and they sent an email that was robot generated and didn't help at all. I sent another email about how I want my money back and I don't want instore credit and they are not replying. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Horrible horrible service. Disappointing.
I've never written a review, but after my experience with Lucy in the Sky I felt compelled to. I saw the dresses on Instagram, as I think many customers do, and I thought they were cute, so read through the website and placed an order. There were a few issues I had which ranged from mild annoyance to the level of literal scam and even in my opinion fraud.
Least importantly, the shipping took WAY longer than the timeframe promised. I bought the dress for a graduation, and I received it just a few days before (weeks later than I was told) the date of my graduation.
My second issue with the dress was that not only was it too small (okay, it happens) but the fact that a) it was unbelievably too small, as in, I am a size 2 (XS in most stores) and a small from this store wouldn't fit halfway up my leg (I am not kidding, it looked like a child's dress) and b) there was no tag that identified the size on the dress itself. I truly believe that the store purposely ships out smaller dresses that are not marked with a size so that they can claim they sent you the correct item and that you're not the size you think you are.
Finally, most suspicious of all, the store does not do returns, BUT this fact is not made clear on the website. It is not posted anywhere that is easily seen. So, after I emailed the store asking for a refund for the dress, I was told there were no refunds. I was instead given a credit to the store, and much as I dislike the store, I decided to use it recently to get my money's worth (I ordered a medium, which is about 3 sizes larger than I am at other stores). That was over a month ago, and I have not heard a THING from the store since then. I have honestly given up and just want to forget I ever ordered from them.
I have read other reviews that are positive, so if you think the dresses are cute, give the store a shot at your own risk. Unfortunately, I do think it is a scam, and I am considering reporting the business to my bank. I think that they are running a scam where they purposely send the wrong size, unmarked, and claim it is right, and then surprise you with the "no-refunds" policy. I am just writing this out so no one else loses upwards of $50!

Lucy in the sky is the most ridiculous website i have EVER ordered from. I ordered my dress MORE THAN a MONTH before I needed it and it wasn't even shipped the day it was supposed to be delivered. I emailed them twice, DM'd them, and commented on their instagram posts. If you need a reliable website, this is NOT it! I canceled my card because they were not answering me about shipping my dress or refunding me. I was so looking foward to the dress and it didn't even make it in time for my homecoming.
Ordered my dress on 09/16/2021... It's 10/11/2021 and the dress still has not been shipped!
I ordered a dress and they never sent me a email confirming and it was supposed to come in a certain date for homecoming. The dress never came in and they never said why. I emailed and they said they couldn't get it to me and now I HAVE NO DRESS FOR HOCO BECAUSE OF THEM. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.
I ordered back in July and it is now October, still not received any of my pieces! I only received store credit as an apology for the delay bt still no items have arrived!
If you want to actually receive your item do not order from here. Unfortunately they charged me right away I had six weeks to receive an order that would only take a few days for a legitimate company. Why they tell you they prepare each order is beyond me they are not hand made to each person it's just a medium. If you don't have the item it should not be for sale. We never received it and it is nearly impossible to reach someone and when I did they said maybe two more weeks. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere you can make a brand new dress faster than they would be willing to ship it.
There's no way to contact this company through normal means. I emailed them on October 5 because my dress did not yet ship and they didn't get back to me until a week later and told me that my dress was on backorder and I would have to wait another 4 weeks before it SHIPS! I never got the dresss
Don't ever order from this store if you actually want your dresses to come in. They will not even get shipped until after the date that they should be there. Terrible customer service. Absolutely not worth the money or the time. I purchased these two dresses and they shipped two weeks apart. This store Is not it.
I ordered 2 in-stock dresses on 8/31. After 3 weeks, they still had not even shipped. I contacted them for an update and was told they were no longer in stock and would be delayed several weeks. I canceled the order and received an email from them with my refund confirmation. 3 more weeks have no passed and no refund. I have sent several emails, a text, reached out on Instagram and attempted 11 online chats. Each time I try the online chat, I wait in a long queue and just when it's about to be my turn, it conveniently logs me off and I have to start again. No one responds, they don't have a phone number to call. This place is a scam. They don't ship the merchandise and conveniently are unreachable when you want information about your refund. Stay away! There are so many other websites to get the same type of merchandise who are not a big disaster like this. One of the worst retail experiences of my life.
The "Made in Los Angeles" claims are a lie. The dresses are made in China, the fabric is rough, and you'll wait a looong time for them to ship from there.
September 9 th 2021, I ordered a dress for my daughter and it said that shipping would be between September 28th and October 5th. Here it is October 9th, day of my daughter's homecoming, which is why she bought this dress, and we've heard nothing. No update to our order. Hasn't been shipped. I have tried to contact them three different times, in three different ways with no response. My poor daughter is so upset because it's day of homecoming and now she doesn't have address. Great way to ruin something that's supposed to be so memorable
The customer service was absolutely horrible the order didn't come within the time frame they gave me. By the last day of my time frame they hadn't even shipped my dress. When i tried to reset my password for my account it wouldn't work so i couldn't even get in to cancel my order.

They wasted no time taking my money but today is 10/7 and I have not received a tracking number and they have not replied to my last email I sent them yesterday. Were almost out of time and do not have a back up plan. We have no idea when the dress will arrive or if it will arrive on time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
Ordered a dress, it was promised to be here by 10/7, on 10/6 I spent 2.5 hours waiting for customer support to tell me it was delayed and would not ship until after the event for which it was ordered. Then they say that the refund will take another 13 business days. Website has no clue what they are doing or how to treat customers.
