Ordered from their catalog and received the items and looked nothing like what was pictured. So called for a retire and took 3 weeks to get a label. Then I mailed it back with the label they sent to me and that has been 3 weeks sent out. Called and they said I needed the tracking number which I never got when I mailed it. They said no tracking number no refund. So now it's up to me to find a traction number so I can get a refund. Needless to say I have had no luck getting a tracking number for a package sent out 3 weeks ago. Talked to a manager also and she was very rude and snotty. Never will order there again and will tell everyone I know now to.

Still waiting for order for a month now. They took my money but my order still hasn't even shipped out. This company is bankrupt and are not helpful at all

Item much smaller than stated, want me to pay to return. After 17 phone call threatened BBB. The sent back response ok we will refund total amount attached I return label. No such attachment. Re: LTD Commodities - Return_Exchange [#*******]. Avoid company at all costs. It's a scam.

Used to love this company

Placed an order with them this year about 5 days ago to be exact and I paid in full for my order. Today five days later is when they put shipping info up for one of the three items I ordered. The shipping info is only a trading number with no info further than that, however today I also saw a charge to my card for an additional $20. This prompted me to call the company to see what was going on. So I spoke with an agent as well as a supervisor about my issue with them telling me the same thing that the first payment I made was for an authorization hold. Now I am not new to this but since when does an authorization hold cost the same as the price as the complete order? Anywho so the moral of my story is that I will wait for three weeks approximately for one of the three items in my order, instead of them cancelling like I requested them to do, just to have to return it and wait another possible 7-10 business days to get my money back... SMH never again with this company I was thinking doing lakeside collections but found out that lakeside and ltd commodities are the same company... SMH

I ordered from LTD Commodities. I paid via PayPal. LTD Commodities charge part of my order to PayPal, then shipped all of my items. 4 months later they told me I owed them money, which I did. The problem was they would not accept PayPal for the payment. I tried to contact customer service, 4 times via phone and 2 via chat but they were not available. I finally wrote an email that received a response. They response said the customer service rep couldn't see details of the order and they don't know why PayPal wasn't charge. THANKS for all the help!. I ended up writing a check. But I feel like something is wrong with a company that changes payment methods after shipping. I contacted PayPal and their was NO denied charge from LTD Commodities. They just never tried.

DONT ORDER FROM HERE

Don't order from here! I ordered $219 worth of merchandise, it all came out of my bank immediately. 2 of my items kept saying they were in credit check & we needed to call them they had a question but when we would they didn't know what we were taking about, they ended up saying we didn't pay, i owed them $83, when i paid the FULL amount of my order this was on october 21st. I've called and sent many emails sayinf i would just like to be refunded for the 2 items because everything else had shipped, they just kept saying i owed them, well today October 27th at 12:55 am they took $83.14 out of my account and i didn't order anything, So basically i'm out $165, i reporter them and emailed them and they will be receiving a call from me first thing in the morning

I ordered a small cart for $39.99 at midnight EST. After realizing I had incorrectly measured my pantry closet, where I was to keep the cart, I emailed LTD Commodities to CANCEL the order, since the product had not yet left the warehouse. They emailed back to say they had no way to contact the warehouse to cancel the order. I called the next day to plead my case received the same reply about the warehouse. I asked if the warehouse is in China, bc how could they not just email the warehouse and cancel the order. Same robotic reply and she added the warehouse is in Illinois.

Read the fine print! They say they happily take returns using a pre-paid label; HOWEVER, you, the consumer, get docked the $7.99 return, from the price you paid.

In the age of environmental concerns, why ship a product that you know is gong to get returned? Why waste energy, fuels in shipping? And why can't anyone contact the warehouse to cancel the order. Are we missing something?

Buyer Beware!

Be very cautious when making a purchase from LTD Commodities. You will be given an "opportunity" to get a rebate for shipping costs. Submitting for that rebate is a scheme through which you are unknowingly signed up for "Perks". There will be NO rebate and the credit card that you used to make the purchase will be charged a monthly membership fee. The "membership fee will be taken out, beginning the same month that you made the purchase. The fee will be automatically charged, in the middle of the night (approx 4:00 AM). If you have made a purchase from LTD Commodities, you'd better double check your card's statement very carefully!

Placed order in May. I realized check cashed but didnt receive it. I called. Talked to three people and said send cancelled check as they have no record. Bank sent it and nothing. Yet check was cashed. Never again

Order 2 Christmas trees one day and next day there was a 20 percent off sale. The trees hadn't even left their facility and they wouldn't apply the 20 percent off. Bad customer service in my opinion.

Happy to say that after I completed this review they called me and said they had made arrangements to give me the credit.

They could have done that the first contact with them, not the 4th. Thus the 4 star and not 5.

Not easy to do returns

I placed a large order with LTD Commodities and one item did not work properly.
I've called them 3 times and they refuse to send me a return label. It is NOT easy to return with them! I will not order from them again.

I have ordered a couple of times from LTD Commodities and have no complaints about their products. My complaint is that once you are on their email list, there is no way to get off of it. There is an unsubscribe button on their promotional emails but it takes you to their website where there is absolutely no way to unsubscribe. I called the company and they told me that they deleted my account and I would not receive any further emails. I was getting two to three promotional emails daily. It didn't change. I called them again and was told there is nothing they can do since my account was deleted. I filed a complaint with the BBB which I believe took care of one of the lists I was on. However, now I receive two emails daily from them - 48 total so far in February. The BBB will not pursue this again as I already filed a complaint with them. Don't give this company your email address!

Do not use this company you will not get your packages in a timely matter. Poor customer service they will tell you anything. Takes 10 or more day just to get to the delivery service. They do not tell you this when you order.

"Perks" cost added

Company added a cost for Perks. I never saw anything about it in the catalog. I called to be sure I wouldn't get billed again and person wasn't very nice. Will not order anything again and also telling others.

Gourmet pretzel tubs

I bought 2 of your pretzel tubs the first tub itself was broken that the plastic tub and then 17 out of the 20 pretzels were also broken. The second tub was intact but had several broken pretzels in it. The Flavor is good but I'm glad I bought them for myself and not presents. I would never give away broken pretzels

SO AGGRAVATING!

I despise this company. I stopped by their website and considered making a purchase. There was a pop up prompting me to enter my email to save a % of my first purchase. They have emailed me SEVERAL times a day EVERY day. When I try to unsubscribe it takes me to a blank screen. I called to see if someone could remove me from the list and was given a different phone number to call. I called and spoke to a person who said it would be taken care of. That never happened. I receive 2-4 emails EVERY SINGLE DAY. Soooooo aggravating!

First, my account was hacked. Second, the thieves accidentally sent the first order to my address. They realized their mistake and sent the 2nd order to themselves in a different state. My credit card company wrote off both of the fraudulent charges, and I sent the box of items back to LTD Commodities. They are still sending me Ready Credit Payment Plan statements. They have received the items back from me, but they are still saying I have a balance. One agent says I don't owe anything, one says I only owe ~$5.00 in finance charges (!), and then someone in the credit department says I still owe $151.00. I have been tossed back and forth from customer service to the credit department over and over again. I am STILL trying to get this resolved after months and months of frustration. I will NEVER buy from this company again.

Poor customer service
November 30, 2020

This company has the wordt customer service ever! I ordered several items on a buy 6 get the 7th free promotion. My free item was $2.99. The next day, the entire website was 30% off. I called them to see if they can cancel my order so I could place a new order with the current deal and they said this was not possible even though my order had not shipped yet. They said the best I could do was to place a new order and return the first shipment when I received it. It cost $7.99 to return something! I asked if the could just do a price adjustment and they acted like I was crazy to even suggest such a thing since I had already received a promotion. That was the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard. This company is extremely had to work with and even less friendly. I had one customer service representative hang up on me when I tried to call and talk to someone rather than chat over the internet.

Very shady...

Placed an order prematurely, called within 5 minutes of placing the order to cancel the order. The operator asked for my order number. Pulled up my account and said that it was not in the system yet and to call back in 30 minutes. Waited the 30 minutes and called back. The operator then told me that the order had already been processed and he was unable to cancel the order. Sounds like a runaround. Like I told the operator, I will return the order and not place an order with them again. This order was place at 8:45pm eastern and I'm sure that the order was not being filled as of yet. Very unprofessional.

Lies Lies and Lies

I've successfully ordered from Ltd a few times over the years. This year, they have been awful. It took an order over 4 weeks to arrive. I gave slack because of Covid. The next order, well, we received half with a note saying the rest of the order was forthcoming. We tracked it, and it never moved from the warehouse. We called and were told. D, "it's on the way". Finally, wa customer rep admitted both items were backorder until, JULY! These are Christmas items. Not Covid this time, just crzppy business pratices. All it would have taken was an email informing us or even a note in the first shipment. We'll see how quickly we get a refund. Never again will I purchase from them.
