Disappointing
January 6, 2025

My level of dissatisfaction with this subscription is not able to be put into words. I have been billed 10 time. 10 TIMES and only received 2 crates. I have emailed several times for help. I have emailed several times to have my subscription cancelled and I AM STILL BEING CHARGED. I feel robbed and I want very much to have my money refunded to me or AT LEAST get the 8 freaking crated I have paid for and NEVER received.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Loot Crate, regardless of covid-19 difficulties, is a terrible company that has robbed countless people of their hard earned money. Offering essentially no support or refunds for products they failed to deliver even after 3 years.

Ordered an anime crate and fallot crate as gifts. The anime crate just came in a mostly empty box with 4 cheap items no where near the purported 35 dollars I paid for. They are barely even anime related with on item just a dog pin. The rest of the items look faded or like a cheap knock off. Was not impressed at all. Now wondering if the fallout box will be even worse considering its unusually long shipping time.

I really hate to write bad reviews but this was a horrible experience. I ordered in September (for a Halloween gift) and after numerous emails, attempts at refunds, back and fourth. I finally received my package on December 28th.

I was not totally disappointed with the content. I thought that it was good. The time waiting and the questionable customer service was my issue.

I hope they can recover.

Very disappointed. I'm from the UK and waited many months for my crate to arrive. Not worth the wait. Only received four items, not worth the price at all and this is coming from a die hard fallout fan. Words cannot describe how disappointed I am!

Avoid at all cost!

Absolute SCAM! Paid over $50 plus $25 of shipping and it took them 3 month to send it plus only got a pair of sock, a couple of pins, a digusting plush toy and a revolting plastic toy from transformer! Be aware and do not ever order from this awful company! Avoid at all COST!

Absolute scam

They didn't send through 5 crates of the 12 month subscription I purchased. I had to keep following up and complaining and they eventually gave me a 6 month subscription credit. Although, they initially wanted me to pay for postage again and I had to keep going through support again as I wasn't willing to pay anything further as they hadn't delivered what I had already paid for. They then proceeded to not send any of the 6 month subscription to me and now all pending shipments have a message "cancelled Reason: other". I've made a couple of attempts to contact support about the still missing crates, but they haven't even bothered to respond. They just seem to be a scam of a company now who will take money and not deliver the items promised.

I used a Christmas bonus to buy their Marvel Crate. Instead of one Crate every other month, each one was months late. The last 2 were 8 and 9 months late. Then, when I told them I was canceling my subscription, they charged me again, and I couldn't get a hold of anybody to get it back until I threatened legal action. Do not waste your money with this.

Worst company to deal with. Purchased a subscription Loot Crate series for my son, nothing but delays and then unfulfilled promises. I initially contacted customer support and they said there were port delays. The delays kept growing. Eventually, they stopped responding to the support requests and said "here's the delay FAQ, look their for updates" Eventually, the series stopped appearing on their FAQ and then they stop responding to your support requests. Maybe they are inundated with everyone's complaints? Who knows, but save your money and don't buy from these scam artists.

Scam

Loot crate used to be good, like, 7 years ago. These days it's nothing but junk and incompetent employees. I ordered a specialty box and while it arrived when it said it would, it arrived in an unmarked box, hastily taped shut and damaged, and there were only three items inside, none of which were packaged properly. Also, I spent $80 on this box, yet all the items inside combined totaled $30 MAX. Loot Crate is now just cheap, second-hand junk. Don't waste your time.

Garbage

Been a longtime subscriber ever since they started up along with other crate subscriptions. Have ordered most of their theme crates along with specialty subscriptions such as Marvel Gears and Goods as wel as Deadpool.

Crates were great first few years but now just complete garbage. They are rehashing old stuff that is overstocked in their warehouse and just filling crates with this stuff. It's the stuff you can find in those $10 grab bags sold at Target and Best Huy now. Just received 2 boxes of Marvel Gears and Goods yesterday in small box with a tshirt, socks, pin, and toothpick holder (1 of 30 toothpick holders I keep getting from loot rate). Hardly not worth $20, especially not the $35 the crate cost or whatever the mentioned value of the crate ($80 I think).

Save your money and just buy this stuff from Target, Kohls and Amazon. You will spend far less and actually get stuff you like. Loot crate has definitely lost all credibility. Avoid this garbage!

Every email is ignored, no reply since start of 2022.
Bought the Avatar Tshirt pack (the 5 different avatar airbender shirts) and they never arrived

At the time, this was priced at 100USD, and the best offer the gave me in late 2022 (almost two years later) was a 50$ loot crate box as replacement...

To this day, each month I will email for another update, with no reply

Marjie from their support team is either flat out ignoring me, or no one there gives a crap at all

DO NOT BUY FROM LOOT CRATE. They WILL steal your money and you will not get what you ordered. As you can see from many other reviewers, they are a SCAM. They owe us all money and will not return calls or e-mails. Not even the Better Business Bureau can reach them. Shut this company DOWN!

Takes forever to ship

I've purchased a crate in July of 2022. I was informed they would be shipping late sometime October-November due to whatever issues they're having, something Covid related somehow. October and November came and no tracking. I reached out to them only for them to send me an email saying they cannot respond yet due to high frequency of inquiries and they will reach back out to me with a response. A week later they said a response saying they will be shipping it out December. It's already halfway through December and nothing yet. I purchased this crate in July for an end of September birthday. It's now turning into a Xmas gift? Possibly a new years gift? This company really should not be so adamant about all these awesome crates when they cannot provide what they offer. Get your systems straight before trying to sell a product. I would never sign up for a membership knowing this is how they do business

Do not trust lootcrate

My experience with lootcrate was 100% awful. I never recieved what I actually ordered, instead i receieved 3 boxes of JUNK more than 2 years after I placed my order for a single specialty box, and it took so long for customer service to even respond their refusal to help that they may as well not have responded at all. I was scammed out of hundreds of dollars, my time was wasted, and not a single person was competent, let alone helpful. I will NEVER do business with this company again, and actively tell people to avoid the company. Worst shopping experience ever!
