This is my second month with loot crate. At this point I am not impressed with their shipping.My very first shipment that was a Christmas gift from my wife was 2 weeks late.
I have a strong feeling this might be my last box. Get your act together Loot crate or lose customers.
Please don't waste your money. They took my money and didn't fulfill my order at all. Still haven't received any actual package and I ordered it last July. Lied to me about shipping delays to get me to wait months past what I was supposed to and never refunded me. Such a scam.
Seriously, been having the same issue with my subscription for 3 months and every time I get a reply from "support", it has nothing to do with my issue... at all. On top of that, I picked up a 6 month subscription in June, received my first crate in the middle of August, who does that to people!?!?
The products themselves are very hit and miss. Most the time it's garbage but occasionally there is something that is pretty neat. I did a year of the Harry Potter Crate, that was 90% trash. A year of Loot Gaming, I'd say 50/50 on that one and am now working through a year of the basic loot crate which so far has been pretty disappointing.
Items hardly ever ship on time and always take longer then they say to be delivered.
I have canceled them all with no interest in renewing, they managed to charge me another year on the loot gaming and refuse to give a refund.
Horrible customer service I wont purchase any others and can not recommend this company to anyone.
Loot crate used to be good until the company fell apart the boxes had solid themes and barely met the price you paid for the items inside. I ordered the anime box and I am still waiting on at least four boxes, they have had major delays since at least September/October of 2019. The last few boxes were like the bargain bin anime items at hot topic: Attack on Titan water bottle, Sanrio character keychain, anime air freshener, Loot crate mascot pin. They forgot the shirt I contacted them about and they will send it later, which from my experience they do. Unfortunately I had to cancel and I do not suggest buying anything from them unless you like long waits and disappointing boxes that are overpriced.
I ordered the rick in morty crate in May. It was supposed to ship in july. It's now the end of October srill no crate. They stopped taking paypal because of their shipping issues. No way to get money back other than calling credit card and disputing. They have no customer service at all. 2 weeks for a computer generated response. Every month a new excuse for when it will ship. Don't waste your money!
Placed an order on Nov. 27th for a few Christmas gifts. All in-stock items. 19 Days later (12/16/17) and they tell me "You may receive it this month" They have no idea when they are sending it. I've never been told that when ordering something. They advertise great sales for the holidays but neglect to tell you that it will take 17 years to receive it. My son will outgrow the sizes I ordered by the time it gets here.
I ordered the loot fright which is supposed to be shipped very 2nd month but haven't received anything since October 2021. Have emailed them many times and they keep saying it's "coming" next month. But no surprise it never does. Trying to get my money back now but it also seems to be a challenge. It may be tempting to buy but DONT they don't care about getting the product to you or any of their customers.
I made an order back in March for limited edition merch for The Crow. I had friends who ordered crates from them, and it seemed legit. After placing an order, the shipping date kept getting pushed further and further back. The last I had gotten any contact about the order was in June saying that shipping would come in July. I've gone through some stuff since then-- I'm a teacher, I live in an area that was heavily affected by Hurricane Ida. It slipped my mind; it wasn't something pressing to worry about. Until this month. I watch The Crow every year on October 30 with friends and I remembered the order I made as a birthday present to myself.
I checked my email I used for the order and signed in. I haven't heard anything about shipping. My order on the website still says Unfulfilled.
It's been 7 months and nothing.
Lootcrate is a scam. Don't waste your money.
I would have given zero stars if I could have. They've charged my credit card 3 times, and I've yet to receive any product. Customer service is a joke. Loot Crate should rebrand as Thief Crate, to honour what their company is truly about.
Very generic content with very poor shipping. If you want a unique item this is not for you as all loot crate subscribers get the exact same items which is bland and takes the surprise off of everything. I strongly don't recommend loot crate due to is boring content and its very lengthy shipping process.
My wife got me a 6 month subscription... and wow what a waste of money it's like getting a box of $#*!ty China made gifts from a distant relative who you don't even know. Yet they keep sending you a gift every year always. The stuff in the boxes is quite literally useless junk. At best it's all like stocking stuffer toys. At its worst which s basically every month. It's landfill material.
Loot Crate is a $19.95 (including $6 shipping) monthly subscription box for geeks and gamers. The boxes are themed and it includes things like collectibles, t-shirts, buttons, and stickers. Recent themes have been: Cyber, Unite, Fantasy, Covert and Play. The last 3 themes have really been a miss for us, but we expect July's theme, Heroes 2, to be a better fit for our house. (Loot Crate's Aug. 2014 box theme was Heroes, which we really liked).
It seems like recently a lot of the items are Loot Crate exclusives, so it is often hard to price out. I also feel that the boxes now include a lot of small junk items instead of fewer quality items we used to receive. However my son still enjoys receiving this box, so I think we'll continue our subscription for a couple more months to see if it improves. Although I will say that we recently subscribed to Sports Crate which quickly became my husband and son's favorite subscription box.
This is my first time ever ordering through them. I ordered a shirt through the vault over a month ago and it still hasn't been shipped. Their website says 2-3 weeks for delivery. When the 2 week mark hit I messaged them to see what was going on I got a response in 2 days that they are backed up and I can just cancel my order. How can they not get an order even processed in a months time? I have received things from China quicker than loot crate can even get me a confirmation. They took no time to take my money though. I was thinking about ordering crates from them but not after this. I wouldn't recommend anyone ordering from them. Not worth the time.
They were great back in the day. But now they suck. I ordered the By-Monthly Fallout Crate in July and September (2021) and they have yet to ship them and now it's January (2022). They are a mediocre company at best.
Aside from the obvious issue of you basically subscribing to lots of crap you will one day have to move being sent to your house, canceling the sub is incredibly difficult and it feels like they know that and purposefully do it ti get more money. People are greedy who knew.

I signed up for the Sanrio Small Gift Summer box back in May. I received an email on June 28th with is saying there was going to be a delay and the box will ship out in July. I have messaged Loot Crate asking when will the crates be shipping out and they said there was a delay on one of items that was going to be inside the box. They also told me that I should expect tracking information next week (meaning this week). It's Thursday, now and I still haven't received anything. I know the week is not over yet, but this company judging by the reviews isn't doing what they are supposed to be doing! Hopefully, by Saturday I will be getting an email that my stuff has been shipped. I paid too much money!
Tried a crate - was shipped 2 months late and with missing item.
2 months later I'm still trying to get the missing item, and they insist it was sent and delivered - but tracking number they gave me is bogus. Doesn't even show the item in my Province (ON) - but in BC. The other side of the country.
Tried to cancel, but have been billed for another crate.
Customer service is shockingly poor.
AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
So my kids convinced to get this $#*!ty subscription and I did. We went 6 months for useless piece of $#*!, I was busy and did not have time to cancel after 3 months. That's how I got to 6 months. Feb 6, I cancelled it. Feb 22 got reactivated again. Then I cancelled it again Feb 22,2 days later Feb 24, account was Active again. WTF! Both cancellation and reactivation sent to my inbox so I got all. I am really really upset! Guys, buy your kids stuff from eBay or Amazon well worth it. Don't try this nonsense super scammer trick. Enough!

Answer: If you look at the good reviews, they are from 2014. This company has gone way down since then. Now they just take your money and never ship. I wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business soon.
Answer: What ever you do, go to your bank account close it, and reopen a new one in your name, that literally seems to be the only way for you to escape their stealing scams. Stay AWAY from them!
Answer: Just accept the loss. It will take weeks to even get a response forom customer service and you will end up with an excuse, expense of returning what you have and will either 1) get two more wrong items after several more weeks, 2) never receive the exchange items at all or 3) get a refund if they are threatened with a PayPal claim.
Answer: Do not buy them here. It takes over a month to receive anything. What you receive will be wrong. Customer service takes weeks to respond. Dissatisfied customers are always selling Crate items on eBay. Best it get them that way.
Answer: Don't order it! Other reviewers are saying that once you cancel it auto renews automatically. Cancelling subscriptions seems to be next to impossible!
