Cexalp has proven to be an outstanding exchange platform that I'm genuinely thrilled to have discovered. The first thing that caught my attention was the low commissions, which, in turn, allowed me to maximize my profits while trading. This aspect alone made a significant difference in my overall earnings.

Maybe this site can be used to sell. However buying somthing is kinda a joke. Message sellers who's stuff wasn't posted 4 years ago yet still on there and no responses. I've bought and sold from marketplace to reddit and in between. This is the worst. 32 messages to buyers and not 1 single response. These were not the prefab messages but personalized messages expressing intrest.
That said this site needs to clean up the junk posts. Law of probability. This site is just terrible!

I ended up spending over $200 for a pair of counterfeit Nike Jordan II shoes! The ad said they were new and completely legit but I could tell they were fakes soon after receiving. I'll only use trusted sites from now on.

This site is pretty much all merchants or scammers. The scammers do as they please. No matter if you report them or not. Now you cant even report without signing in. Just another hurdle for these idiot aiding and abettors. Go other places not here. They must be run by the Nigerian prince who is supposed to be sending me money.

People need to be removed or "put under review" as they say, when they message you for no reason at all other than to waste your time. The internet has spawned a whole generation of total flakes. Not accountable for anything. They play this game where they'll message you then not respond. Then if they do respond, they'll tell you that they weren't aware that they messaged you at all. This happens at least every hour. Then they will ask you more questions than a homicide detective, none of them will simply "read the post" then after a billion questions and commitments to show up, they flake out anyway, then get all but hurt when you call them on it. I learned early on to NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR ADDRESS because 9 times out of 10 their not coming anyway.
And when they really want to play jerkoff games, I cut the price in half, and give them an address across town, then the game is on them. Instead of them wasting your time, you've wasted their time. It's the only way do get satisfaction on these losers.

In what world is it OK for a seller to cuss you out and block you for asking a very relative question? Apparently in the world of Letgo!

Someone was selling a carpet shampooer, but the picture was quite blurry (possibly intentional?) and I couldn't tell if there were scratches and dents or if it was a reflection from light. So, Of course I ask the very relevant question are these scratches and dents or lines from a reflection from the light behind you? The seller proceeds to cuss me out and says "what the Fu(k do you think? There is going to be scratches and dents you Dumb [Bi+$#!] it is a Carpet cleaner! Then he Blocks Me!...?

That isn't something that would occur [with myself] as it has never occurred with my vacuum or carpet cleaner because I'm very cautious not to bump it into furniture or the walls... but, this was a very 'necessary' question, because if the carpet cleaner has been banged into walls and furniture it has damaged the internal components, and what followed was very ridiculous!

-- I was not given any opportunity to rate this seller, and should have been, seeing as how he was extremely rude, cussed me out, called me the B word and blocked me for NO reason.
- This guy apparently has some sort of mental issue and he could turn extremely dangerous on someone when/ if meeting in person.

Letgo is unfair and unsafe. Period.

I don't know if people are unaware of how the review process works or if they're just too lazy to select the proper rating.
To fix this, the parameters should be pre-selected (On Time, Responsive, Trustworthy, Helpful etc.) & users should be forced to unselect the a specific line items 'if' Seller or Buyer didn't meet those expectations. -- Some people only select a star rating, nothing else, giving others the impression that you're not (or I'm not) a good Seller/Buyer to do business with! * This process is not only a problem on Letgo, but on OfferUp as well!
** I am REALLY hopeful someone sees this & that the proper fixes are put in place to change their platform! **

-- Last issue: We go to meet someone for a pick up, at the agreed upon time, we send a message letting them know "We're here! :)" & no reply. We knock on the door, nobody answered. We ring the bell & again, no one answers the door. So, at this point I think we are being played because I can see a gentleman peeking from the upstairs window but no one ever came down so, we pull off. Later this lady Finally responds that they are there and have been waiting inside so we go back
Long story short, SHE leaves me a BAD Review!? [SERIOUSLY.?] Based solely on the fact that she assumed I was going to leave her one (because yes, she was in the wrong, but I STILL, foolishly gave her the benefit of the doubt! SO Unfair! Unacceptable!

Letgo: PLEASE Make This right or else I will no longer be using your platform.

I have other gripes as well, but have spent enough time on this dreadful, frustrating experience with them! You get my point.

Ok. I changed my mind;
Lots of people raise the prices, after the fact, once you drive ALL the way there, or items are in WAY worse condition than advertised & damages aren't shown in pictures, conveniently!
Some don't show up at all & others agree to sell to you, & even schedule a time for pickup, but sell said item out from under you to someone else for more money! People are really Nasty, not all, just some, so sad & unfortunately UNBELIEVABLE!

I have join Letgo over a couple of years ago. My sales has well superseded the FREE and simple cost to post. My upgrades to bump listings is well worth value. I can't say enough good.

This site is worse than Craigslist. Full of scamners, people who ghost sellers after asking if item is still available, lowballing & then want free deliveries when you posted no deliveries. Letgo does not tutor users on how to use or read the entire listing before responding. Or removes your listing because they say it was a "duplicate", but if they had read the listing the ring size was different and stones were different and a different shape, though close in color. Even had brand new hair bands removed as a violation. When I complained they said I don't have an account. No account? Then how am I getting Letgo notices in my private email account. No oversight when lowballers or bullying, harassing buyers start cursing abusive language at you.

I've been using this app for 2 years. The problem with this app is you get a lot of people who aren't serious buyers- they flake out on the deal and many times don't show up at meeting place. I recommend contacting them again right before scheduled date to avoid this issue or say on ad "curbside pickup only." Always say cash only and meet during the day in a public location. Don't ever use paypal or venmo since they can find ways to scam.

Best place to sell is if you are located in a dense populated city like San Francisco or New York. You'll have a higher chance to sell at the price you want and possibly make profit here and there. But, if you live in a city that isn't, I don't recommend. A lot of lowballers even though post says no offers, they still do. No one will buy unless it is a BIG discount!

Not many people use the app enough. I just end up selling on ebay and still earn profit. It's not widely used.

These guys have no clue to client satisfaction and to how to run a website. I suspect they will be getting sued soon. They should be shut down for negligence. Just recently three of their clients were mugged when tiring to make purchases. People post their items and they don't respond even after they review the offer. Clients are allow to block users for no reason at all. I strongly suggest to everyone to stay away from this horrible site. They have no concern for your safety. Please keep reporting them I see hundreds of complaints STAY AWAY...
