They really need to get their act together. Site freezes in mid sentence when trying to communicate. After almost an hour it came back for under 2 mins. Then froze. They are second rate to offer up and 5 miles. This company seems to be laden with issues
This little punk named: Colin Sold me a coin slot machine that did not work he said it worked just fine. I will never buy anything off offer up without actually seeing at work. He was a real scum of the earth!. I guess I come from an old school where you trust people and doing business the proper way but this little punk needs his $#*! kicked!

The Customer Service team is the most unresponsive team possible! I sent a message last Friday and their email says someone will respond in 24 hours. It has been 5 days! I would agree with what people are saying about the clientele that comes to purchase. I had someone express interest and then didn't respond to my messages for a whole week. When the buyer finally responded and I told her the item was already sold, she left a bogus review calling me shady. There are so many other selling apps out there and if you want to save some of your sanity, do not use letgo!
Not impressed how it works. Have had numerous "I'm interested" also asking where item is for sale. It's now apparent that 1% are truly interested. I now ask a question like "what one thing made you interested?". Adults came to see and played a bunch of games leading us on. I cannot recommend Let go.
I've been using Letgo to sell and buy for months. I'm only left to assume that my location has something to do with why most of my experiences have been positive. Of course this brings out the crazies, the junkies, and the creeps. So does Craigslist eBay and other like minded platforms. Use common sense. If someone asks you if it's still available, that doesn't mean this persons about to buy your item. It means they're scrolling through postings and asked about it. That's it. I get 200+ inquiry only messages a week. I also sell items frequently. I've been jerked around too, but for the most part, using my common sense and being polite, I've sold over $800 worth of stuff I didn't want/need anymore. But, that being said, I live in a college town that is notorious for its low crime rate. All in all, don't expect too much from this, use common sense, and read user reviews.
I'm not happy with the way my transmission was listed as a grey metal case. Generalizations of this nature hasn't gotten any results whatsoever. Why not list it as an automatic transmission? To me, that would make more sense!
The app gives you easy access to a ton of things online which is also an opportunity to get every and almost anything you need online you could also decide to sell things that are no longer useful to you and earn money from them
Nothing but bots and people that can't afford anything nice. Do not put anything of value on here, maybe some used shoes or a microwave but its trash. I think let go should just take their app down, it does more damage then good for people that are looking to sell
I am fed up with bots and people who want to get something for nothing. This is not a good site to sell nice items. First and foremost, Letgo should remove those quick response buttons especially the one that says I'm interested. Usually the people are far away so it means they don't even read the ad. Craig's list is much more user friendly in making connections. There are no worthless click on buttons. People have to know how to write. There are the usual suspects on any selling site but you just have to be careful. Only take cash, bank check or money order. Meet at a public place.
I've made so much money by selling things I no longer need on letgo. Sure you get people asking if the item is still available and when you say yes, they never respond. So what? I'm glad letgo came around, a lot better than CL.
Let go is the worst platform to sell. Nothing but scams! Poorest website and people trying to beat you with everything you can think of! Too much haggling. Everyone thinks that you are selling fake counterfeit items. I will not recommend this
It's the worst. Authorities should shut them down. Not even sure what they're scam is, but it's definitely playing some game. Constant "I'm interested" replies resulting in absolutely no action. Don't waste your time.
Hate Letgo. Only ever got "Is this still available"? No response when I reply. The only real person wanted me to drive a $15 dollar item to his house 30 minutes away. They randomly remove postings. I sell better on Craigslist.
My experience mirrored 95% of the negative responses on her, almost verbatim. They're all accurate reviews. I myself got 2 responses from users that were suspicious. One who asked if "the item" (a whole set of dishes) was in good condition - the condition was already listed in the very beginning of the description. The other one asked about a single figurine - "you want $20 for all?". I'm like, "all of what, there's only one item." Crickets. Clearly these are bots or scammers, there are no legit buyers. Don't waste your time, move on to something else.
I have bought and sold many time using the app. The only errors are human ones. Communication is key. Being polite even when someone doesn't appreciate what you have to sell pays off in less frustration and creates a positive future relationship for selling similar items. A very useful tool for selling jewelry, antiques, etc.
Every post you will get trash calling you. I posted a hitch for a customer of mine that wanted it removed from her house, it was in really good condition so instead of destroying it I put it on letgo to see if someone could use it. Some hillbilly finally shows up and asks my employees to load it for him. I specified he would need help and he showed up with his crusty girlfriend. Same experience today I held some couches for some guy, he shows up 2 1/2 hours late and does not take the couches. Both items were free. It's not worth being nice just throw your used stuff out and let these pigs dig it out of the dump
There are ample reviews describing the numerous technical problems with this app. Top complaint is receiving pings around the clock, primarily from letgo and not buyers. As a seller I can say it's a complete waste of time. 95% of buyers use the auto reply, followed by "hit the wrong button". People have the audacity to request delivery on free items. Edit an ad and it will likely be flagged as a duplicate listing and deleted. Craigslist is far more efficient. If you use this app, only accept cash.
Letgo site doesn't work. Won't load reliably, ads disappear. I could do a better job setting this up using GoDaddy. You would think with their advertising budget they would have hired someone other than the village idiot to design their site.
What a bunch of amateurs!
People look, occasionally favorite, and buy zilch. And I'm not interested in paying for ads so more people can see my stuff for sale and still none of it gets bought. They're great items, too, at decent prices. As for the app itself, seems ok. Probably just way more sellers than buyers know about it to go there.
Months ago I was so unhappy with uncooperative, unwieldy, out of date Letgo, that I posted all that unhappiness in a review on Sitejabber. So I left Letgo, and started a sales life elsewhere... unhappily. Months later, Letgo got the message, and oh boy, it's now a breeze. Even using my old android tablet, no issues! Reprieve! (Let's hope all this lasts. Also, after several years selling on the web: I never, ever take a check. Cash only. I had one guy "buy" several hundred dollars worth of my stuff, later to tell me by phone he had no cash and he'll pick up this stuff and could I stake him until payday? Uh, no.) Never heard from him again. Just advice from a long time seller----no checks ever.
Answer: I worked as a reviewer for several sites and when they have very little reviews or no reviews people like me are paid to say how great they are. You can verify these in Amazon reviews some of them praise items like there is no tomorrow full pages of nice reviews. When you see the contradicting reviews go for the bad one is the honest one.
letgo has a rating of 1.8 stars from 839 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with letgo most frequently mention customer service, many people and phone number. letgo ranks 177th among Auction sites.
