I purchased the echo frames from Amazon, which are a pair of glasses with Alexa built in, so I wanted to get prescription lenses so they could be my daily glasses. I went to lenslabl and after an extra 2 weeks after what they told me with no updates or contacts from lenslabl, my lenses arrived incorrect. Because I had already gone to 3 other lens manufacturers that were overpriced or the glass didn't fit in the frame, I returned the frames. I returned them whilst I was in the process of attempting to get a refund for my faulty lenses, because I was about to reach the end of my return time on the frames. Now I've been to 4 different representatives every time I ask for a refund, on the same email reply, and they are still attempting to say that they need pictures of the lenses in the frames to see if there "really is something wrong with the lenses". They have "generously" offered to bend the rules and replace my lenses if they find something wrong with them, but refuse to give me a refund. Do not buy from this website. There are many others that offer comparable prices and better service.

Slow processing but EXCELLENT LENSES

The service to provide is excellent and the lens quality is superb. I paid for the quick shipping and I must say it took much longer than I thought. Additionally there is no live customer service you only can email customer service and they get back to it a later date. Once again the lenses are quality it just takes longer than I thought.

Did the right thing, at highest quality.

Does re-lensing your eyeglass frames work? Heck yeah! My first attempt at re-lensing my favorite eyeglass frames didn't go well. Something was off. I tried several times over three months to wear them for extended time periods before giving up. When my other pair received a scratched lense as I changed out my face mask my problem multiplied. Only then did I address Lensabl the problem with my re-lensed Oakleys. The warranty period was over, but they gave me a fair quote. They corrected the problem with some proper measurements, new lenses for no charge. They work great, my other pair of scratched glasses are going in today for lense replacement. Customer Service was easy to work with and the results are great.

Echo Frames

I sent my echo frames to Lensable at Amazon's recommendation. I was worried about someone ruining my frames after I had waited for them so long. But I need not have worried! Lensable took great care of my frames and the lenses are wonderful. They took great care with packaging them too, so that they were safe on their journey to Lensable and back to me. I highly recommend this company!

Lost in Las Vegas

I lost my eyeglasses in Las Vegas but had an older pair with an outdated prescription. Obtained a mailing label, uploaded the prescription and order, and mailed my old glasses with frames. Received the new lenses in the old frames in about 2 weeks and they are perfect.

Great process, lacks communication

This was my first time using Lensabl for anything and it was overall a great experience! I did the online eye exam first, and that went great - the prescription was sent over very fast.
Then I ordered contacts and the process was simple and quick. The reason it's not 5-stars is because the communication was really lacking. After the order confirmation, it took several days for the order to get shipped out (there was no message saying the prescription had been approved). When I got the shipment notification, the email had no info! No carrier, no tracking number, no ETA for the package... the button to track it was also not linked to anything. When I logged into my account, the status didn't show shipped on one page, but did on another... and still no tracking info or ETA anywhere.
I did receive the contacts very quickly (yay!), but was completely in the dark about the status.
Overall, would recommend them as long as you trust that the product will arrive quickly, even if they don't tell you any details about the status.

Bose Glasses

I purchased a pair of the glasses and I really like them, but it took several weeks to receive them and after receiving them by not having direct communication with this company, I didnt get what I really needed in order to truly enjoyed the glasses. Im happy with them, but not happy. I like them so much that I helped my coworker order a pair on yesterday even though I wasnt 100% satisfied with mine. I wear prescription lenses and that's where my problem came in. I can't see from a distance.Its a problem for me and although I like the glasses, I can't get the full use from the glasses while at work, which is the #1 reason I purchased the glasses. Great product the most part. Thanks

Cons: Tracking not good, they don't notify you when they ship it back or when they received your frames. The process is about as slow as any other online frame and lenses company.

Disappointed

I've been thrilled to be able to do this whole process online and it's mostly gone smoothly.
When I looked at the glasses I knew immediately there was a problem for me.
The line for the bifocals is so high. It's literally right in the middle of my eye. I've been wearing bifocals for 25+ years and this line is located higher up on the lens than on any other pair I've worn.
It's terribly distracting because half of my vision is out of focus. I can see the line when I'm looking straight ahead and I've never experienced that before.
So... on the one hand, I'm so grateful to have this new prescription in a pair of bifocals as my others are older and the lenses are scratched.
And... on the other hand... at least half of my field of view is out of focus when I'm driving, walking, biking, birdwatching... I'm hoping I'll adjust because I'm not willing to ship them off again and wait. I followed the instructions for using the camera as best I could and apparently it does not work.

Since I had full prescription incl measurements for exact frames receiving replacement lenses, it was a simple straight-forward process from beginning to end! That said, an initial estimate of timeframe from returning furnished shipping materials to return would have been useful but, aside from that... an overall GREAT experience! I will uae again and recommend!

Love that I found a fairly cheap way to update my childhood glasses from the 90s! The experience was pretty easy. The only problem is the pupillary distance seems a little off, but I bent my frames a little and they seem to be better now. The tracking system is a little wonky too. It said my glasses were completed and awaiting final inspection for a week before they finally shipped. The only truly bummer was that they threw away the case I sent my frames to them in and replaced it with one of theirs. I really wanted that vintage LensCrafters case back, but I'm sure it's long gone by now. Didn't think I had to say I wanted it back. Overall it's nice to have my glasses again and would use them again if I need to.

I'm ok with Lensabl

I was super excited to get the lenses from Lensabl when my glasses broke and purchased new ones.

I got mine back after maybe 2-3 weeks, but was very disappointed to find my left lens came without any prescription. I had to send them back for a redo, and waited another two weeks to finally receive them back. First of all, my original lens were no where to be found. But secondly, I was mostly disappointed with the redo lens. Both my eyes were -4.50, so the lens should be same or similar, but the redo lens was cut way too deep with a sharper angle, which was noticeable when I looked in the mirror.

The customer service was helpful about sending in the redo, but not sympathetic when I told him if I can get my glasses as soon as I can because my old glasses were broken (and also it was their mistake in the first place). He just never responded, nor updated me on the status when I emailed him about the status. I could not follow up or track my redo online because it never showed. I understood about the longer wait time considering what's happening with COVID, but I just wish he updated me with the status. The mail just showed up one day, and good thing I was at work to receive the mail, otherwise I would have to wait another week.

The overall experience was disappointing. I would recommend to friends and family because of its price point and my right lens look great, but I would share my experience and not to expect too much from Lensabl.
