Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

Is taking way too long to get my order.
Lensabl doesn't answer emails for days.
Still waiting for my order.
The ordering process was really easy. Good instructions on the website. The price was excellent. My only complaint is that it took WAY longer than the 4-7 business days advertised on the website. My order took almost 3 weeks.
I placed an order just before going out of town. The team accommodated my odd situation by sending the shipping box to an away from home address and the glasses back to the home address. Couldn't be happier with the level of service.
The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I am from Canada, and due to the exchange rate it is expensive for Canadians. For US customers, 5 stars. Great custoner service, great quality, great product.
Pro. They did a better job with a picture than my previous store that measured me in person.
Con... selection of styles is quite limited
I just received my new lens order, which was a correction to the original submission from two months ago. They are perfect. I'm very pleased.
This is the second pair of glasses that I've had Lensable fill the Rx for me. They do wonderful work, and my only disappointment is the lack of adequate communication. Sometimes communicating quickly is more important than delays in completing orders.
I am not pleased with the lenses I received. As soon as I put on my glasses, a very distinct glare appeared on the lens from a lamp in the room. For the price, these lenses should be coated with some anti-glare/anti-reflective coating. I can't wear these at night while I am driving as the glare is extremely distracting. I would like them redone with anti-glare coating or a full refund.
I had a wonderful experience with Lensabl. They were in constant communication with me regarding my frames. I am pleased with their service and my frames fit and look great!
The whole process was extremely easy and swift. I had a pair of dc Oakleys that needed lens updated (very expensive pair that I did not want to go to waste). My rx changes a lot because of keratoconus, so I'm glad that I found Lensabl. Possibly the only reason why I'm giving four stars is because it would not allow me to choose blue lens and transition lens (would of been great to have both). Also, I already have a pair of rx Nike glasses with transition and blue light, I feel like the blue light protection is stronger with my Nikes (not from Lensabl) vs my Lensabl Oakleys.
Lensabl provided me with new eye prescription lenses to be inserted in my old frames. Initially, I was unable to see clearly with the new lenses. Things were blurry. I notified Lensabl of the fault. I was advised by a relative of mine to look through the glasses backwards. That exercise proved that the new lenses were manufactured and curved to fit my original frames inside out. Miraculously, I could see perfectly through my new glasses when I held them to my eyes backwards. The new lense curve needs to be inverted. Also, I want Lensabl to make sure I have a tri-fold no line vision pair of glasses that matches the eye doctor's prescription I provided.
My mom gave me an old pair of Dior frames that were hers from the 80s - I wanted to swap the lenses out to my prescription but was unable to find someone to do it locally. I found Lensabl online and the experience was a breeze. I uploaded my prescription, they mailed me a super protective box, I mailed them the glasses, and then they just mailed them back to me. The old frames even came with a nice carrying case, which is perfect because theyre kind of an odd shape. I was missing one of the numbers on prescription but the instructions on how to calculate it were super easy. I needed to change my address for the shipping, and that process was easy too. Was so happy to have such a positive experience with Lensabl. Excited to find more interesting vintage frames and have lenses put in. Thanks again!
I finally got my sunglasses yesterday (11/23/20) in the mail. I noted it was sent Priority Mail (2day) on the 16th ( I believe). I also noted that my glasses were completed and ready for shipment for several days. This whole process began on 11/05/20. As far as the sunglasses, they are fine and I used them today. I was concerned because someone stole my other pair of Maui Jim Rx's last month and I have been using an old pair of Rx sunglasses with an old prescription. I understand that there is not much you can do about USPS, but it was way more aggravating than I had experienced with the sunglasses you did for me last year (In case you were wondering, the mirrored lenses are not great for driving for extended lengths of time I found.) That is precisely why I went with your company again!
Everything was great until I received my glasses. I don't know what is wrong, but things tend to have a glare/aren't as crisp as my regular glasses with the same prescription and measurements. It's almost slightly nauseating. Quick service, but quality of lenses overall seems low
Got my prescription renewed with their online eye vision test ($25) and sent in my frames for lens replacement on 11/4/20, got them back 11/20/20. They were able to replace frames on a pair of lab goggles, which can be tricky! Overall I'm very satisfied with Lensabl!
Once my glasses finally came everything was perfect However; it took a while to receive my frames and my customer service experience was sub par. I would not order from here again and I wouldn't recommend this site/service to anyone else either.
I have an eye condition that results in my prescription changing frequently. I ordered a lens replacement and the day after I mailed my frames, I found out my prescription had changed. I sent an email to customer service and asked if I could change the prescription for my order. The day after I emailed, I received a notification that my frames were received. After that notification, I received a response from customer service that they could not change the prescription. I made the request before they even received my frames. I explained in a response to customer service that I knew my request was received by them before they had my frames and questioned why it couldn't be changed. The only option offered to me was to purchase ANOTHER set of lenses with a 25% discount. Basically, I would pay 175% for the correct lenses. I declined and now have glasses that are not right. I would not have an issue expect that I know my request was made before my order was started. It was a waste of my money.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
