What I thought was going to take seven work days took nearly a month and the prescription is wrong. I had such very high hopes. The good news - your support element is responsive to email messages.
I ordered new glasses because my old frames broke. I have used Lensabl before to get prescription lenses for my sunglasses and was very pleased. The new glasses I received recently is a different story. They are bifocals and I love the look of the frames and they are perfect for my nearsightedness, but they are a disaster for reading up close - especially while using the computer. The up close prescription has to be incorrect because when I put on my broken glasses (with the same prescription I submitted to Lensabl), it is a very difficult to see. In other words, I can't wear the new glasses.
Lense cut out didnt match with frame and the frame legs wont extend smoothly, it felt like a faulty frame
I sent my frames to be fitted with my Rx and add a bi-focal component for reading and the returned product looks like something from the '70s, possibly 1870's. I can't use the glasses because there is so much distortion it is disorienting. I contacted customer service and they told me that they made what I ordered and that I should have chosen progressive lenses instead of bifocals. They offered a 25% discount to let them remake them. I have no faith that the re-do will yield good results. The lens is thick even though my Rx is weak and so is the reading glass portion of it.
You get what you pay for and if you want to throw $150 in the toilet Lensable is a good alternative and will save water too.

I placed an order to have new prescription lenses placed on some frames I own. I shipped the frames and provided a copy of my prescription online (Order *******). I placed my order on Nov 4th and it wasn't until Nov 24th when I contacted a rep for a follow-up on my order that I was made aware that my order was awaiting PD measurements - which was frustrating in of itself. When I went back and looked at my confirmation e-mail I realized the request for PD measurements was indeed requested there, but you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the email to see it. When I first received the email I took a quick glance at my address and payment amount and moved on. If these measurements are needed then that should be listed near the top where it's clear to see. Nonetheless, I supplied these measurements by sending a photo the very same day. For the next several days I kept checking on my order status online only to find the same generic message of "6 days before your item is shipped". After a few back and forth e-mails with a rep, I was finally given a link for tracking the package but the link was broken. In the end, I was very pleased with the finished product but it took over a month for the glasses to arrive after I mailed them out! I wanted these glasses for Christmas photos my family and I were taking together which is why I sent the glasses so early. Because of the incredible delay, I was unable to use these frames for my photos which was extremely disappointing. Again, the quality of work was very good, but had I known how long the wait would have been - not to mention the terrible communication - I would have gone with a different company.

I've used lensabl to replace lenses several times in the past. Always had an ok experience. This November I shipped in another pair of glasses. It's now late December and the website has been telling me that they will ship in 6 business days for almost 3 weeks now.
Customer service is not helpful and has not followed up with any information even though I've emailed them 3 times to get an ETA. I'm really disappointed and am planning to use another service next time or someone local because the long wait and lack of follow up is pretty crazy. The lenses are expensive for what they are (they tack on high fees for coatings, finished edges, warranty, etc), but I was ok with it when they were responsive and shipping stuff quickly. Being stuck in "6 business day" limbo for several weeks is not acceptable.
The Lenses I have received do not fit into the Frames.
They drop off too easily.

The glasses turned out better than I hoped! The small/medium are a perfect fit for me, I am 6ft 3in 203 pounds. These glasses fit like a glove and the sound quality is amazing! Will definitely order from again!
I've used other online vendors for prescription glasses and Lensabl is by far my favorite. The prices are good, the process is easy and the glasses are great!
Previous lenses were uncomfortable to see through; replaced promptly when I asked with no issues. Replacements are much better.
So far my glasses have taken longer than they estimated to make. After finally getting in touch with them after about a week and a half they said it would take another 6 days to complete the glasses. Now it's been a month and they still haven't shipped. Just hoping they don't mess up my glasses
I ordered new prescription Bose glasses. The first set of lens created were not acceptable and did not pass internal inspection. I was not notified at all. I repeatedly inquired about this and finally found out that in fact they had started over. It if been almost a month since I received my glasses. When they got here the Rx was wrong. After my experiences I wanted to just have a refund and kept being told that is not possible and still have not had resolution. I will report this to the BBB and also to Bose as they referred me to lensable and it is important they know about these experiences as it reflects on them as well.
Very dissatisfied with my glasses. The frames are smaller than I thought they would be. Very unhappy as I can't return them. I'll never wear them. Sucks. :(

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!

In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
