Lensabl has been great. I've used them on six pairs of frames now and had absolutely no issues at all. I've replaced old lenses in vintage frames and put new ones in brand new frames. It's WAY less expensive than going to my optometrist and the quality is the same! So glad I found them. Will definitely continue to use them in the future!
My frames needed new lenses badly. I wanted an easy service that offered a fast turnaround. Lensabl offered expedited shipping both ways and an excellent selection of lens upgrades. I chose anti-fog coating because I always have issues while wearing a mask in public. Overall, im highly satisfied with this professional service and will be sending in other frames in the future.
Horrible and very bad. I have never wore this kind of bifocal lenses which are separated in one glass. I cant see it clearly and everything is moving. It is waste of my money.

My wife and I love our glasses with their new lenses. The lensabl website does tend to have some significant issues on Safari, so that was frustrating. But we are very happy with the quality of work, speed of the process, and the incredible pricing.
Excellent. I was very happy with the website design and UI. It does feel like a boutique optical experience. Providing only lenses is a great service since people are attached to their frames and they know they fit. Very happy with the price on Hi-index lenses, on the turnaround, and the lovely box they came back in. (On a specific note, I would make it very clear on the website that with a +6.50 and up prescription you need Hi-Index 1.74 otherwise, the lenses stick out of the frames no matter how thick your frames are.)
Not having a phone number is probably a good thing for you but what could have been a two-minute clarification on an order update turned out an endless string of emails.

I had asked you to send me a box for my eyeglasses. After a considerable wait, I asked you to send me a new one. When that finally arrived, I sent my glasses. I followed up several times, asking when my glasses would be produced and delivered. Eventually your customer service people told me they did not know which glasses were mine because I did not include a shipping order or something like that. I thought I had followed your instructions on how to start the process, but who knows what happened? Finally, after many weeks of waiting, you sent my eyeglasses. I am very happy with them.
I sent in my old frames with a new prescription as well as the measurements used for my current new glasses and when I got my glasses back I couldn't see distance or close up with them. It appears that they didn't even use my prescription. Totally unusable.
I was suspect of the idea of getting glasses/lens fitted correctly without going to an optical shop to wait around, get fitted, get aggravated and wait two weeks for my glasses. When I ran across the website I had to try it. No store, no aggravation, just simple instructions, take a picture and two weeks later i get my glasses sent to my home. TOO EASY! I may never have to go to an optical shop again and that's a win!
The lenses were fine and the online process easy. It took a long time to get them and I had to ask when they were being sent!
I bought the first pair of progressive lens replacements as my prescription had changed and not many companies can do Silhouette rimless lens replacement. The vision was not right when I received them and I was asked to return them and they were re-done and sent back to me and worked just fine. It turns out that the PD measurement was not correct which had caused the problem and this is the measurement from the 'credit card' photos that are used. I then sent another pair and had those lenses replaced with the digital high-end progressives and they used the exiting PD measurements. These came back perfect first time. So I'm super happy with both replacements and the digital progressives are very good indeed. I would just suggest you may want to have your optician measure your PD, especially for progressive lenses, and upload that part of the prescription. If I had one request it would be for some sort of chat ability for support rather than everything by emails.

Took a lot longer to receive than I anticipated. Also, they originally said it was delivered 20 days prior. When I contacted them and said it was never delivered I then received a delivery notification saying it was just shipped the day after that. They never sent it is more like it. Took a really really long time. Quality didn't disappoint though.
I had them throw on a prescription on some stoggles for my practice. Almost no point now. Will only use them for about a month before my vaccine now. Overall they were reasonably responsive though. Not a bad company. Probably just messed up shipping.
Over the last on-line Black Friday I got a deal on a bose frames Alta, so during the purchase process. I was offered a Prescription option through lensabl. Intrigued so I checked it out and followed the instructions providing a current eye prescription and performing the credit card photo for pupil distance, and completed the order, 3 weeks later. Yesterday I received the glasses and I love these. The glasses have clear lens and came with the sun glass pieces separately. At first I thought I ordered sun glasses, then I wore them outside. Doh, they are transitions and change in the sun, yay, the Bose sound system is great and I like the poindexter look these wonderful glasses. The Prescription is spot on perfect. Thank you

Getting new lenses in an old and much loved set of frames went well. The first lenses were off a bit, and after a few emails a new set was arranged. These are pretty much spot on. So: excellent price value, reasonable completion time, excellent customer service. I will certainly use Lensabl again when the time comes.

Turns out I didn't need to worry: helpful customer service, quick turnaround, the process was uncomplicated and... I can see again!
I used Lensabl to replace the scratched lenses in my favorite pair of sunglasses. I am Asian with a very flat nose bridge, so finding a plastic pair of sunglasses with no nosepiece is very difficult. Most sunglasses come with an adjustable nosepiece that gets caught in my hair or are very heavy. I found sunglasses that fit well, were lightweight, and never slid down my nose after multi-hour bike rides in the middle of summer. But then I dropped the glasses on a hike and scratched the lenses. I repurchased the same model but the design had changed. LensCrafters quoted me $270 to replace the lenses. After spending months looking for a suitable replacement pair of sunglasses or a reasonable lens replacement quote, I decided to try Lensable. I'm so pleased with these lenses. My favorite pair of sunglasses look great and are still lightweight. I was very concerned with the weight because after a few hours sunglasses can get heavy and irritate my nose and slide down (especially if I'm outside and sweating!). These replacement lenses haven't changed the weight of my sunglasses. I'm so happy to have my sunglasses back, and I didn't even have to go to a store.
They also return my old scratched lenses too. Shipping was very quick too.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
