Wasnt sure if Lensabl could live up to their claim of placing new prescription lenses in just about any type of frame, but they did. In my case placing lenses in wrap-around sunglass frames, that a local retail Optometrist didn't want to risk doing. Lensabl did a great job.
What I like even better is the way they keep you in the loop during the entire process. From start to finish, very easy. And at a very fair price.
Lensabl is one of very few Bose partners to equip Bose frames with presc. Lenses. The website allows for detailed configuration and the chat boosts the customer experience by direct (not a robot!) human answer. The ability for direct conversation was a key differentiator for the buy decision towards Lensabl and accelerated the custom order of lenses only (no frames needed). Order was place on Dec. 23rd '20, shipping on Feb. 5th '21 and pack received in Germany on March 10th '21 with tracking by USPS. It is worth noting that Lensabl made an exception to shipping outside of the U.S. The lens quality in material, crafting and packing is outstanding, perfect condition. The lenses require a very gentle but firm hand to snap into the frames. They are made to fit perfectly tight. Packaging includes a nice leather frame box and cleaning kit. Payment was clear and instant using Paypal. Very attractive discount was applied, so the effective price point is very competitive. Custom orders do need time to process and - given the manufacturing process of curved lenses for Bose tempo (close to impossible) with transition vantage - the order completion time is very acceptable. 100% happy German customer and many thanks to Megan, Rhinna, Jayme, Ann and all the folks on the team for making this possible. Expect more intl. Orders to come as Bose doesn't seem to have a lens partner in Germany.
I found the website and completed entering my information easily. I had 3 frames to get lenses for and the process was easy. I received the first pair and it was easy except that I did not get one aspect of my request. I am currently trying to get this corrected and waiting for directions of how to send these glasses back and get the right prescription. The other two were confirmed as to what I wanted for each frame before the lenses were made. I am waiting to receive them to find out if they got it right. I would recommend using this site but I definitely say to check in when the frames arrive at Lensable to confirm your prescription and lease requests.
I took my frames to at least 3 different optical centers who all told me they were unable to make lenses to fit my thin & uniquely shaped frames. I ordered the lenses at Lensabi & the glasses work really and look terrific! Thanks so much for helping me finally get the lenses I needed
Upon receipt of this order on March 25th, we advised customer service by email our lenses were put into the wrong frames. My red frames had my wife's lenses and her black frames had my lenses. We'd like our lenses put into the frames we desired. We have still not had resolution to this situation. We'd like to return our glasses ASAP, so the correct lenses are put into our frames.
These Lensabl glasses are the worst glasses I've ever received. I paid $363.95 (with discount) for TOMS frames with my strong prescription, and upgrade to 1.74 and "Premium Lensabl AR with Anti-Fog." I expected thick glasses because I've had this prescription a long time, but the glare on my Lensabl glasses was so bad I can't even wear them on a Zoom call and would feel conspicuous in a grocery store. I have a very strong prescription and matched the specs of my last pair of glasses as best I could. I was horrified when the glasses arrived, with glaring reflective thick lenses set far back in the frame to exaggerate their thickness (rather than centering the lenses as all other specialists have done). Contacted Customer Service who said that for $272 ($204 w discount) additional dollars they will add AR to the other side and attempt to reset the lenses. I'm just not confident that for nearly $700 I will have a serviceable product. I am going to have the lenses re-made at a difference store I have confidence in. Writing this review for the next person with a strong prescription- If you have a strong prescription, don't make the same expensive mistake I did! Or, initiate a consult before ordering; customer service said that some upgrades for strong prescriptions are available but not listed anywhere on the website. I'm hoping Lensabl at least sends me a TOMS case so that for $363.95 I have the TOMS frames and TOMS case (instead of the cheap Lensabl case as a reminder). TOMS frames were exactly as described.

My order, *******, was returned once for not having PRISM. I was required to have tis verified thru a local optometrist, which took a few days. After wearing glasses for several years I know what a bad prescription is. I could not get a return label until I proved Lensabl error.
I finally received the return label, waited too long. Received glasses again and there is no bifocal in lens.

I didn't initially know what to expect with Lensabl, but I was quickly awed and delighted! I initially got connected to the company through Groupon. The discount I received was pretty significant, but I wasn't quite sure about the quality. I soon had a smile on my face as I easily navigated the website, placed my order, and received my glasses. The fit was great and the lens (which had to be progressive) turned out really well. I would definitely recommend them to others.
The process of working with Lensabl was very good! The result, not so much... I sent in my regular prescription and my computer glasses prescription all printed on one page, carefully marking that I wanted computer glasses. (I have one pair of computer glasses and wanted these to be a second pair for work.) What was returned are nothing like my other computer glasses. In fact, I'm not sure they aren't just plain lenses... Maybe faint reading but I may even be imagining that... They should be progressive middle distance at the top and reading at the bottom so that in the middle they work for a computer screen... Not sure if I should send them back to try again?
My glasses were with Lensabl for 6 weeks. This was considerably longer than expected, and would have been much less upsetting had I received regular updates during the process. Although I could log in and view the status of my order, for a couple weeks the status said "estimated 5 business days" before the next step in the process. Actual date estimations would have been more helpful. Emails when my glasses moved through each step would have been appreciated. I did reach out to customer service a few times and they were able to give me updates within a couple days each time. However my last customer service update was 2/11 that my glasses would be shipped within a few days pending inspection, then finally 2/25 I received an automated email that my glasses did not pass quality checks and were being redone. Once my glasses finally arrived I was happy with the final product, but the lack of communication and transparency was very disappointing. I will likely look elsewhere next time and cannot in good faith recommend this service.
So convenient to be able to send in new to me vintage frames and have my prescription fitted out. They look fabulous and I'm open to the experience again. Had some questions for customer service and they responded in a timely manner. Would recommend to others.

Love the bose except somehow the wrong size was on the order. I know I selected s/m but m/l was on my order. Any way the script is terrible and I can't see with them. No return or refund. They did offer to give me a new script but I would have to pour more money into it and there is no guarantee that on will be right. This is why online shopping isn't really all that great. Buy the glasses and take them to your eye doctor for a script.
Very happy w/ the new lenses in my favorite frames. Also included in the box a sturdy eyeglass case & as a bonus a little spray bottle of cleaner & a cleaning cloth.

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
