Its not lensabl's fault at all but USPS had marked my package as lost for over 5 months or so, so when i finally got a confirmation email that they were being shipped i was shocked!
Thankfully i had changed my address in time as i had moved.
I recommend maybe a confirmation email when they arrive to the lensabl center because unfortunately USPS is very unreliable as i thought my glasses and money were lost forever.
I require glasses for everything as my vision worsens with age. The processing estimate was 4-7 days. It's now been 2 1/2, almost 3 weeks and I haven't gotten my glasses back. There have been a total of 4 delays and in this time I have been unable to see or even drive. The frustration was not worth the money saved to buy new glasses. I have received no compensation for the ridiculous wait time, although I will say that customer service is friendly.
They lost my frames, took a week to determine that they're lost. And they offered me new frames at no cost, great right? Took a month and a half for them to make them. After complaining they said they would upgrade to shipping to overnight, but they never did that.
My second experience was using the warranty for scratches on my lens. So I sent my glasses in, and they never confirmed receiving them on their website tracker. When I emailed I got a copy pasted to response. Eventually I finally got notified by UPS that there was a new tracking number heading to my house. But it was not picked up by UPS for multiple days. So I emailed lensable and again got a copy pasted response, but the next day UPS picked up the package.
When you need glasses to see and be a functional human, waiting who knows how long for glasses to get made or fixed is unacceptable.

I thought my transition lenses would get darker when out in the sun. They just get slightly tinted. I'm happy that I was able to use my own frames but I wish my lenses would get darker.

I got a new prescription. Bifocal. Got my glasses back and felt super dizzy. I put them away thinking I needed to get used to the new prescription. Was at the optician yesterday and he checked. The lensabl glasses are for astigmatism that I don't have; and different prescription on both lenses! My eyes have same prescription! It's been over 30 days since I wasted my money on lensabl. Never again

They received MY sunglasses on June 20.
Today is Aug. 3 and I have yet to receive them back, and all I get in reply are canned responses from them.
They've blocked me on Instagram and Facebook because I'm sharing my TRUE experience with their company. I want my money and sunglasses back!

Lensabl is such a great way to expand the options for prescription frames, especially sunglasses. This is my second time using them and I'm super satisfied.
I shipped my frame end of June. I did not hear anything for 10 days. Finally they said to fill out some missing information. I fixed the issue and waited. Two weeks later I still haven't gotten my glasses. I called and she said my glasses were failed for inspection. I finally received a month later. Also I am still disputing with double charges on my credit card. My credit card company said they have not received a reply from Lensabl yet.
I was quoted $375 to replace my high index lenses at LensCrafters. It was significantly cheaper to go through Lensabl and the lenses were much thinner than the previous LensCrafters! Very happy with my purchase and will use them again in the future.
3 points I want to make after a year and a half later post Lensabl order:
1. I had realized at some point that there was a different screw on my glasses and the last time I had taken it in was when I had sent my glasses to get my lens replaced to Lensabl. The friction on one side was loose and I couldn't tell why and it is because they might have lost the original screw and replaced it with one of their own... highly disappointed.
2. When I had placed my order on 12/21/2021, the progress of my lens kept saying it was at the lab for almost a month and that is when I reached out to customer service. They responded and provided me with the incorrect tracking number, and then once I was in contact with them my glasses were finally in progress to be shipped back to me. It seemed as if they forgot to either update the order or ship it out to me when it might have been ready a while ago.
3. I thought my eyesight had gotten worse, but I only had these lens replaced a year and a half ago through Lensabl. I recently went to my local optometrist to get my eyes checked and they noted that the astigmatism on my left lens were off. This whole time my lens I received were not correct and I ensured that the numbers submitted on my end were in fact correct from what was shown on my prescription at the time. Despite whether or not it was my user end error or Lensabl since this order was almost a couple of years ago, I wouldn't recommend. Please find and go to a local optometrist if you are able to. You really get what you pay for!
Took 2 weeks to receive an order that I paid extra for shipping to get in 1-3 days. Customer service took 3 days to reply after emailing to check my order status. Asked about refund on shipping since it didn't arrive within the promised time and haven't heard back from them.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
