Just what my son wanted

My son loves Goodr sunglasses but bummed when he got glasses and could not wear them. He loves them and it was great 18 birthday gift. They are a bit more expensive then I had planned which is why I did not give it 5 stars

First real miss for lensabl

I provided brand new frames for new prescription
I provided specified pictures and pupilary distance
The glasses returned had twisted frame and the only way to see correctly is to move the frames off center to see- completely unwearable
I've had several pairs of glasses done by lensabl all of which are great. This was a bust
I had been recommending lensabl as well- I will no longer be doing that.

We allow customers to provide notes for their orders, specifically regarding any information about the frames they are sending in. In that same section, we request that "For any special requests, please reach out to customer support so that we may modify your order." If you included a paper note with your frames, please be aware that our lab does not accept paper prescriptions or notes. All information must be sent to us via email or live chat. This allows us to have all the necessary details in advance and, if possible, begin working on your lenses sooner (FAQ: https://lensabl.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4746399297421-Can-I-send-paper-documents-notes-in-with-my-frames).

Regarding your specific case, the only email we have from you was on 4/3, in which you asked to change the order to brown polarized lenses. Our customer support agent kindly responded, confirming that we could make this change. If what you received back is different from what was communicated in this conversation, please let us know.

My frames arrived broken and I had to contact customer service. They did have me ship back the frames & they replaced with my prescription lenses and sent back promptly. The glasses fit and are my script.

Never Again

One of my lenses arrived not fully mounted in the frames and the temples of my frames were stretched over 2.5 cm. After sending them back, Lensabl fixed the lens issue, but my frames are so stretched out that I have to go to a local optometrist and pay to have them re-formed. Never again.

The experience of ordering the glasses online was very easy. The wait time to get the glasses was fairly long but I'm happy with the frames. The one lens came with a scuff on it, customer service would like me to send them back to be looked at but at this point I don't want to be out another month with no glasses.

I spent a lot of money on this as it was a birthday treat. For week after week the website said the glasses had failed inspection and you were starting again. I kept asking what was the process that was failing as I would be happy to change my order to get them sooner and you never answered that question. They finally arrived after 2 1/2 months. I like the glasses but I was beginning to think you were never going to send them. When you shipped them via usps they left Denver (just up the road from me) and went on a trip to Reno for no good reason before finally arriving back in Denver and being delivered to me. Entertaining but inconvenient

Got It Wrong Twice

Sent a favorite old pair of sunglass frames to have the lenses updated with a new distance prescription. Uploaded the doc with my new reading and distance prescriptions to the site. Requested the frames be fitted with the new distance prescription. Lensabl used the reading prescription not once--but twice. Trying to get a refund at this point.

To clarify, for the redo, we manufactured the lenses based on the prescription specified in the lower half of the RX document you initially provided, as directed by you and prescribed by your doctor. Our goal is to accurately follow the prescriptions given to us to ensure the best results for our customers. Since the lenses were made according to the initial prescription provided, and because our policy states that all lens sales are final, we are unable to remake the lenses with the new prescription you sent after the redo was completed without additional costs or offer a refund. We strictly manufacture lenses as prescribed by your doctor and cannot make adjustments without their intervention, which we had advised you about. If you would like to proceed with lenses based on the new prescription, we would need to place a new order. We are here to guide you through the process and discuss any potential costs involved.

We understand and apologize for any inconvenience caused by our current unavailability over the phone. Unfortunately, we are temporarily unable to provide support through phone calls. However, we are diligently working to restore our phone lines in the near future. In the meantime, we are fully committed to assisting our customers via email and live chat, available from 9 AM to 5 PM MST, Monday through Friday.

Worth it!

I'm glad to know it is possible to "retrofit"lenses into frames through Lensabl. I was a little confused about some things at first, but in retrospect it was pretty easy and I'll probably do it again.
