My eye doc said they couldn't insert my new prescription lens in my 5 year old Maui Jim frames that are in great shape. I took a flyer and sent my prescription and the frames to go. Got an email a few days later that you needed my OK to proceed as there was an issue with the old broken lenses that were still attached, even tho the frame was in two pieces due to a break at the nose piece. I told you to proceed and this week the glasses came. They look brand new and the prescription is better (and better aligned on the lenses) than what I've gotten from my eye doc. Not to mention your cost was about 1/3 of what new prescription Maui Jim's would have cost and I'm still waiting on my glasses from my eye doc and that's been 5 weeks. You guys were great!
I love these so much more than my regular glasses! I work in a rehab hospital, my glasses never stayed on well when using a mask AND i needed to wear a faceshield over them. The stoggles fit well, are siper comfy, stay in place and cover all open areas around my eyes! Not to mention theyre actually cute! 100% recommended to any gealthcare or essential worker right now!
I bought a pair of Bose Frames sunglasses and thought it would be a good idea to have my prescription put in them. I sent them to Lensabl to get that done. Lensabl was able to make the prescription and they fit the frames perfectly. The turn around time was close to 2 months but considering the global pandemic that seems to be on par with the rest of the world these days. I would advise against going this route not due to Lensabl but because the Bose Frames are much heavier and definitely more cumbersome than normal glasses. I pair mine with my MacBook to use a Webclient since I'm on the phone all day. The Bose Frames sound great and make great sunglasses but are very difficult to get used to for all day wear. I had Lensabl make my prescription in transition lenses and I will say they get darker and stay dark longer than any other lens I've owned. Also, the curve of the lenses are not conducive to a bifocal prescription but Lensabl found a way to make it work. It took a minute to find that sweet spot for reading but it is there. Overall I'd use Lensabl again for a normal pair of glasses but I'd make sure I had a backup pair to cover the wait time. I'm sure once the pandemic comes to an end Lensabl, like everyone else, will have better turn around times.
The reading glasses turned out great, but the sunglasses weren't tinted to nearly as dark a color as I expected.
Sent in an old pair of Oakleys I had to get clear lenses in the so I can wear them as my PPE at work. I'm a nurse. When I got them back they were all stretched out, so much so that when I bend over or look down they just fall off my face. I've sent them back to see if they can be fixed. I will update if things work out.
Very easy process from shipping in my frames, ordering and uploading my prescription. The only thing I might tweak is that even though my order is complete, my account says my glasses are still shipping (or at least the last time I looked), so the online status doesn't match reality. Customer service was prompt in answering questions. Good experience! Glad to keep using some frames that I love!

I have a weak prescription, but it's progressive. I thought I might get by with 'standard' progressives made of Cr-39. I was wrong. The lenses had very small areas of clarity and large areas of distortion. I had been wearing progressives from Costco, which are of much higher quality, so I just put the old lenses back in and will toss the new ones. I had several emails with customer service, but they didn't seem to know what to say. All sales are final, so why would they even try?

My lenses were originally severely scratched with the top coating removed. I'm so happy to have found Lensabl to replace my lenses at an affordable price.
Overall I am happy. I would appreciate a note when my order is received or at least being processed and one when being shipped w tracking. If that means signing up for alerts that is ok. The response time when I asked about order was quick. Between mail being slow and overloaded on emails it's just would have made waiting easier. 2nd time ordering and still very happy!
I had two frames I loved with out of date lenses. I kept purchasing new frames online and hating them in person. I decided to try Lensabl since I already knew I loved the frames I had. It was simple, a good price and great customer service!

My experience was awful. I opted for overnight shipping and began my order Nov 14th. A month later I get my glasses? And then I had to send countless emails to get your attention to get the process going? No updates? Late emails? It was an awful experience and I was only refunded 15$ because of shipping? I think I deserve more compensation that just 15$. Just a poor job overall. From beginning to end.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
