This is my first time ordering from Lensabl and having my lenses replaced outside of the doctor's office- it went so well! I read a New York Times article that suggested this company for lens swapping so I gave it a go. It was very easy. It also speeds up the process to have your own shipping material - they send you a shipping label via email to print out. I appreciated the ability to track the process through your personal account as well. The only thing I noticed was that the frames were stuck in the lab for a very long time, but the "tracking" option appeared after a while, which sent me to a usps link (it still says my glasses are in the lab, but I received them four days ago), so don't panic if your frames are stuck in the lab for a couple of weeks. Great quality, lenses are perfect, and my frames arrived in great shape and came with a nice little cleaning kit and box. Will do business with them again when I need to get new lenses and want to keep my favorite frames!

I ordered lenses to fit a pair of "Stoggles" (frames with side panels for Covid protection) and Lensabl was recommended. I had never purchased lenses online and with progressives for far distance, computer, and reading, I was a little nervous. However, Lensabl has a great process to ensure the correct prescription, pupil distance and they make sure they have things right.
The lenses are great and lightweigt, excellent prescription and I'll be using Lensabl in the future!

A job done beautifully by the technicians at Lensabl. My eyeglass lenses are complex and I wondered if they would get it right--they did! Easy-to-follow instructions done from a computer. If it weren't for Covid I think I would have gotten my lenses even sooner. Win-Win.

I was quite excited when I found Lensabl because I had a few new designer frames that I purchased without lenses and wanted to place new lenses in them for an affordable price. I ordered two pairs of replacement lenses and shipped in my frames. When they arrived back to me, I was quite unhappy with both pairs. I had ordered anti-reflective (standard with the lenses) plus anti-fog coating (extra cost). What I didn't know was that anti-fog option greatly reduces the anti-reflective qualities because they only coat one side of the lens with anti-reflective. This was noted on the website (I had missed that note, my mistake), but what isn't noted is how much of the anti-reflective properties are actually diminished by only coating one side. Reflection is very visible on my lenses during all my zoom calls from home; my glasses are always reflecting any light source in the room. When I contacted customer service about this, they only offered a 10% off replacement lens option, which makes no sense because their website is offering 35% off if I just start the process over again. It's cheaper to send in the glasses as a whole new pair and get everything done again. The second problem: on one of my pairs of glasses, the lens insertion was completely uneven, with the lens set deeper into the frame on one eye compared to the other eye (my two eyes are the same prescription and lens thickness so the unevenness is extremely noticeable). Quite unhappy with the quality and service I received. Oh, another thing: after I placed the order for my glasses, I routinely went to the lensabl website to check the status of my order online and ensure I was ready when it went out for shipment. At one point, the order status noted that both pairs were done and ready for shipment. Then the order status stayed that way for nearly a week without the glasses actually being shipped to me. I had to contact customer service to actually get the order shipped to me, at which point they shipped it out pretty soon after. But had I not contacted, who knows how long I would've waited for the glasses to be shipped out. In any case, the week after I received my lensabl replacement lenses back, I actually went to the Warby Parker website and ordered three pairs of brand new prescription glasses for less cost and I am much happier with the quality.

Bose purchase

I replaced the lenses that came with the Bose glasses with Prescription lenses took about 3 weeks. Now I can use my new lenses and listen to my music. Great for using at the bowling alley... Lenses work very well... very pleased!

New Glasses... Old Frames

Overall a pretty decent experience! Didn't know much about the company, but I have ordered glasses online in the past. The process is really cool! The steps are clear and complete.
When I did need to talk to someone about the process and status of my order, they were responsive and informative. When my glasses did arrive, the packaging and presentation was AWSOME! I do have a concern. I did order additional features for my glasses, including " non-fog lenses" unfortunately my glasses "'fog" a lot, and I'm cleaning them way to much than I would like. My package did include some clothes to "stop fog" but they haven't worked well for me.

Garbage glasses

I sent my frames to be fitted with my Rx and add a bi-focal component for reading and the returned product looks like something from the '70s, possibly 1870's. I can't use the glasses because there is so much distortion it is disorienting. I contacted customer service and they told me that they made what I ordered and that I should have chosen progressive lenses instead of bifocals. They offered a 25% discount to let them remake them. I have no faith that the re-do will yield good results. The lens is thick even though my Rx is weak and so is the reading glass portion of it.

You get what you pay for and if you want to throw $150 in the toilet Lensable is a good alternative and will save water too.

Pricing and process was first rate: good price, easy order entry, shipping to/from with no problems
More than one day customer service response frustrating when trying to manage order.
Order status never seems to get updated; on last update customer service rep said "3 - 5 days" until shipment. Next day I received the shipment confirmation. Status on website never seemed to change from "We're working on it".
"Anti-fogging" lens--NOT

If you're not in hurry and don't need predictability on when you'll get your glasses back I can recommend Lensabl

I placed an order to have new prescription lenses placed on some frames I own. I shipped the frames and provided a copy of my prescription online (Order *******). I placed my order on Nov 4th and it wasn't until Nov 24th when I contacted a rep for a follow-up on my order that I was made aware that my order was awaiting PD measurements - which was frustrating in of itself. When I went back and looked at my confirmation e-mail I realized the request for PD measurements was indeed requested there, but you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the email to see it. When I first received the email I took a quick glance at my address and payment amount and moved on. If these measurements are needed then that should be listed near the top where it's clear to see. Nonetheless, I supplied these measurements by sending a photo the very same day. For the next several days I kept checking on my order status online only to find the same generic message of "6 days before your item is shipped". After a few back and forth e-mails with a rep, I was finally given a link for tracking the package but the link was broken. In the end, I was very pleased with the finished product but it took over a month for the glasses to arrive after I mailed them out! I wanted these glasses for Christmas photos my family and I were taking together which is why I sent the glasses so early. Because of the incredible delay, I was unable to use these frames for my photos which was extremely disappointing. Again, the quality of work was very good, but had I known how long the wait would have been - not to mention the terrible communication - I would have gone with a different company.

A good and responsible service

I experienced that the frame I sent for glasses replacement broke during the laboratory process and Lensabl immediately proceeded, with great responsibility, to inform me of what happened and asked me to choose a new frame to replace it. The frame I selected was immediately ordered to the original brand factory and finally, I received the order with 100% satisfaction. Very happy with Jayme, from Lensabl customer service, who kept me informed at all time during this process. I highly recommend this service.
