Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

Received the return glasses today. My husband is happy with his, but mine seem to be a little off,
Makes me feel a little dizzy when I look around, I'm going to check ea. Eye over the next couple of
Days to see if I can determine what is not quite right. I will let you know by the end of the week.
Thanks
I ordered the glasses on Nov 8, I couldn't see the sightline for the progressive lenses (sunglasses) so I called and was told to send them in and the lab would decide. Checked order and the order sat waiting for sightline info from me. Called Lensabl - sent box but it never arrived. Resent on Nov 18. Glasses arrived at Lensble on 12/2. Emailed requesting delivery date. Lab manger was asked and surprisingly the glasses were just finished. Glasses finally arrived on Dec 27 - two months after order. All communications were initiated by me! Very disappointed! After this trial, I was going to send in two additional pair of glasses. That would appear to be very unwise.
The glasses are great! Came with a cleaning kit and a nice case, but one of the nosepieces was just loose in the container without a screw, and no additional screws to attach it.
Free shipping to send your glasses out, reasonable price to relens them and shipped back in a reasonable time... cant beat it! Great job!
It would have cost me $150.00 more if I had my lenses done in an optical store.

Attention Customer Service Manager:
I am more than disappointed with my Lensabl experience. In fact, I am angry.
My lenses/frames not only arrived late but were damaged by the technician. How they ever made it through your final quality control is a mystery to me. Please see the attached photos. In view 1 the lenses were not even attached at the corner (by the nose pad). Views 2,3, and 4 show that my original frames were bent significantly. They were in excellent order when submitted. They do not lay flat (an obvious! First check in quality control). The glasses are unwearable and unreliable in this broken bent condition. This was not a damaged shipping issue. It is an incompetence issue for at least 2 employees (the tech and the QC reviewer, if there was in fact one)
I received my glasses on Dec 19 2020. They were in processing on Nov 30 2020 and went through the lab twice after failing the first quality control review. Consequently, my order took 3 weeks and not 2 weeks as promised.
Your marketing, sales, and IT department all pitched a good story but sadly, on all processing levels, your company didn't take care of it's core business and delivered, knowingly, a defective product, after accepting $110.25. This was a gross error of commission.
I will now need to have my frames/glasses repaired locally (if they can be) since I do not trust the Lensabl lab to competently fix what should have been an obvious problem. Another processing trip, for the third time?! Is apparently a waste of additional time.
I am expecting a FULL REFUND to my credit card on file and an immediate email confirmation that the transaction was completed.
With deepest regret...
POST SCRIPT Dec 26th 2020 - Still no action taken by Lensabl
I had an expensive pair of frameless glasses with gradient lens.
I contacted Lensabl and they sent me a box for free shipping, sent glasses and they were returned
With replacement lens in perfect condition. If they can re-lens these, they can re-lens anything.
Except for a little scratch on glasses I assumed happened at the lab, they are great. The anti-fogging feature isn't perfect, nor what I expected but I love them. It's a big step up from what I'm used up.
I was suspect of the idea of getting glasses/lens fitted correctly without going to an optical shop to wait around, get fitted, get aggravated and wait two weeks for my glasses. When I ran across the website I had to try it. No store, no aggravation, just simple instructions, take a picture and two weeks later i get my glasses sent to my home. TOO EASY! I may never have to go to an optical shop again and that's a win!
The glasses were good once received, but the real time communication on website and amount of wait time were not good. Had to email three times to find out what the holdup was. Finally told glasses were ready to ship, but website and tracking number never sent or updated with information.
Ordered glasses. RX stated 1.74 high index, as did messages to CSRs and emails. Lensabl screwed up the lenses and I have spent weeks trying to have corrected. Appears customer service may be outsourced. VERY ANNOYING and FRUSTRATING. Still not right AND they want me to pay for their mistake. Charged us for polishing lenses and did not polish lenses. Many emails trying to resolve. Nice lenses when right. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Imperfections on lenses: white showing around the entire lenses; lenses are Roy Orbison thick—thickness protrudes beyond the frame; tint is an unattractive brown color. The lenses' quality is not what I expect to go with high end brand Bose sound frames. Very disappointed, customer service sucks, they told me the discrepancies are "totally normal". Customer service messages are offensive.
I wanted to love this company. Great concept. Not ridiculous pricing... but... customer service, follow-up and customer care in general is reason to take your business elsewhere. I've purchased at least 5 pairs of lenses from them over the last year. One transaction went smooth. Most recently, I sent my frames, double-wrapped in bubble wrap, only to receive two emails from support: 1. We only received one of your frames 2. Your frame is broken and considered "risky". The back and forth that ensued was ridiculous. I finally got them to send a photo of the broken frames, which were in fact snapped in half in a way that would indicate they were broken when the original lens was being removed. Note, I took a photo for the bi-focal sizing seconds before packaging the frames for shipping and they were 100% intact. But hey, these were older frames, relatively thin acetate around the lenses so that's a risk I took. To communicate that they were "risky" versus clearly communicate that they were irreparably damaged and therefore garbage, is lame. Not to mention my whole order (the other frames that took another week to confirm that they did in fact have them) were put on hold while all this was going down. My last communication through their formal support system requested a call from someone in management to explain how this could be standard protocol. Crickets. No word whether they received my note to toss the broken frame in the garbage, status on my other frames/lenses or a call. Just crickets.
Update: I received a call from another support representative who is working to resolve the situation. We shall see how things get resolved but in the short term have bumped my rating to two stars.
The lenses were fine and the online process easy. It took a long time to get them and I had to ask when they were being sent!
I bought the first pair of progressive lens replacements as my prescription had changed and not many companies can do Silhouette rimless lens replacement. The vision was not right when I received them and I was asked to return them and they were re-done and sent back to me and worked just fine. It turns out that the PD measurement was not correct which had caused the problem and this is the measurement from the 'credit card' photos that are used. I then sent another pair and had those lenses replaced with the digital high-end progressives and they used the exiting PD measurements. These came back perfect first time. So I'm super happy with both replacements and the digital progressives are very good indeed. I would just suggest you may want to have your optician measure your PD, especially for progressive lenses, and upload that part of the prescription. If I had one request it would be for some sort of chat ability for support rather than everything by emails.
I sent Lensable brand new frames. After having these for a week they contacted me to say they would not guarantee the work because of "the condition" of the frames, my brand new, straight out of the box frames. I've lost nearly a month of time waiting for new glasses because of this.
Wow! Better than expected! Fast delivery and can see clearly. Plus the audio works perfectly! Thank you!
OMG! I can't believe the price compared to other so called lens makers and the simple set up and time to get my glasses back you guys are my new lens company! Thank you
I have used Lensabl now for the third time to make prescription lenses for myself and my husband (progressive) for frames that we sent in and every time we have had a great experience. The process from start to finish was seamless and all the glasses/sunglasses were made perfectly and in a timely manner. We could not be happier with the cost of the lenses and with the company overall. I highly recommend Lensabl for any of your eyeglass needs.
I had contacted you to see if you could use an earlier prescription for new lenses I would send in. You were wiling to do that and found my old prescription. In the end the frames I sent in broke and you were good enough to refund my payment and return the frames. The process was so smooth all along and everyone was easy to deal with.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
