Quality Glasses

Product is great - Turnaround was not.

Item as described, as in excellent execution. Perfect.

Took a lot longer to receive than I anticipated. Also, they originally said it was delivered 20 days prior. When I contacted them and said it was never delivered I then received a delivery notification saying it was just shipped the day after that. They never sent it is more like it. Took a really really long time. Quality didn't disappoint though.

I had them throw on a prescription on some stoggles for my practice. Almost no point now. Will only use them for about a month before my vaccine now. Overall they were reasonably responsive though. Not a bad company. Probably just messed up shipping.

Prescription Bose Frames

Over the last on-line Black Friday I got a deal on a bose frames Alta, so during the purchase process. I was offered a Prescription option through lensabl. Intrigued so I checked it out and followed the instructions providing a current eye prescription and performing the credit card photo for pupil distance, and completed the order, 3 weeks later. Yesterday I received the glasses and I love these. The glasses have clear lens and came with the sun glass pieces separately. At first I thought I ordered sun glasses, then I wore them outside. Doh, they are transitions and change in the sun, yay, the Bose sound system is great and I like the poindexter look these wonderful glasses. The Prescription is spot on perfect. Thank you

Great service but QC issues.

I ordered a set with transitions in grey as my existing lenses and polished edges. Unfortunately the tint color appears more amber than grey kind of purple to be honest and they forgot to polish the edges of the lenses. Apparently the first set was rejected in QC but this set was allowed to be shipped. Comparison of true transitions on the left and on the right is the transitions from lensabl. Overall I need the glasses so I can complain the prescription is correct and I can see I'm just not as happy as I thought I would be with the way the lenses look. Something to consider when you have to take the advertised tints off a screen into consideration when making your purchases. I probably would've just gone back to the original place I got my existing glasses from since I liked the tint but with the pandemic it was hard to get an appointment to drop my glasses off.

Overall 2 stars.

Better than new!

I loved my Rayban sunglass frames that I've had for years, and that were still in good shape. The eye doctor's office wanted more than double to put new lenses with my updated Rx in them. I couldn't be happier that I found Lensabl and I have another pair of regular glasses I'm going to send in for the same treatment.

Lens Replacement

Pre-sales, order process and order support was quite good. Turnaround time was as advertised. Glasses arrived yesterday and distance vision is wonderful. However, when doing close up work or reading they are no good. I'm having to lift my chin up in the air to see properly. I tried to call support and cannot find a number anywhere. I tried to have a chat with support and the dialog box showed that since it was a post-sales issue it would be handled off-line. I don't think offline support is satisfactory when someone has issues as I do.

Function and nostalgia

I recently found my grandfather's old wireframe glasses from the 1970s, and thought they might be suitable for work glasses for me (graphic artist). They just arrived and they're great! I got single vision lenses since I intend to only use them for close work. As well as needed functional glasses, I now have a memento of someone very dear to me from my childhood. And the realization of how much I resemble him when I put them on.

Product separate from service

I ordered my first pair of lenses from a different company after I discovered that your customer service is primarily through text messaging on your website and through emails.
My first pair of lenses from a different company were progressive lenses with prisms which I needed to discuss with customer service on the phone. I decided to order a second simple pair of lenses (single vision with prisms) from you. I am pleased with the lenses put in the frame I sent you. I was very frustrated with the text messaging and emailing to confirm my order with your customer service people. And I am glad I didn't bother to confirm my more complicated Ist order of lenses in this way. In summary: good product -- poor customer servide.

Just got my frames. I'm 100% happy with them and shipping was lighting fast. However, I placed my order on 11/8/20 and got them on 12/21/20. Wait time is long and customer service had zero compassion and was like talking to a robot. Not sure if I will order again in the future but in the end I received a quality product.

The ordering was easy and the production time was fast. I do have a strange reflective thing happening with lights at night. It's like you can see a halo of light next to the actual light. Not sure I can get use yo that part.

Wrong rx

Good options, fast service, slow mail

From ordering to receiving glasses took a bit over three weeks, which was slower than advertised, but is not that bad considering COVID & winter holiday mail delays; actual time in their shop was very fast. Website was straight forward and I appreciated the range of options to customize my lenses. Packaging was very easy to use to send in the frames and I received them back well packaged as well. Very happy to have a new prescription for a favorite frame.

Great customer service. I recently purchased 1200$ dollar sunglasses and LV wanted to charge me 400$ to make them prescription. I emailed Lensabl, and they quickly replied and answered all my questions.
