I've used Lensabl several times and usually had good experiences, but the most recent one has made me hesitant to return as a customer. After my prescription changed, I ordered new lenses from Lensabl to replace the old Lensabl lenses in the same frames. The lenses I received back stuck out much more than my old lenses, and one arrived with a small imperfection. I returned the frames and lenses to Lensabl easily -- that part was fine. But then communication ceased. On my own, I realized maybe I should try thinner lenses, if the new prescription was going to stick out so much. (I really wish this had been communicated to me before the lenses were made and inserted. I would have asked to go thinner from the get-go.) I emailed customer service to see if I could have them returned with thinner lenses inserted (and pay the difference, of course). I heard no communication from customer service at all until my glasses, still with thick, sticking-out lenses, were being mailed back to me. I still have lenses I'm unhappy with, and I think both parties could have saved time and money had the Lensabl team been more communicative from the jump.
The entire experience was very easy! I had a pair of frames I wanted to use. Ordered the lens, shipped out the frames, in two weeks perfect sunglasses!
Definitely will be using Lensabl again.

I placed my order in mid May and received that glasses yesterday, 2 1/2 months after I ordered them. All that waiting and they are too big!... So my overall experience is not good.
I ordered my glasses August 23rd with a supposed 10 day delivery. I got my glasses October 2nd. I contacted customer service several times and they consistently got back to me in less than 24 hours. They were able to explain what was going on and at what step in production my glasses were in. I have to say if the customer service wasn't as good as it was, I would have canceled the order and called my credit card company. Part of the delay was that my lenses didn't pass the final inspection and had to be redone. In the end, I'm happy I waited, I love my glasses!

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!

In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
