Despite the lenses being "ok," overall, it was a terrible experience. I placed my order on March 30 and did not receive the glasses until May 12, well over one month. There was no clear communication on where my glasses were (emails etc.) other than one email stating that they received my frames on April 12, but the website was not properly updated with the tracking info or where my glasses were in their process.
I kept checking, and finally requested support on April 21, and despite the email and the website showing that my glasses had arrived, their support said you did not have my frames and confirmed that they received them, but then lost track of them. Had I not emailed customer support, they were not going to tell me that my frames were missing in action. I had to send pictures and details about the frames, and they did eventually find them.
I moved during this time and needed to change my return address, which I did on the website and received a confirmation that my address was successfully updated, but they still shipped the glasses to the old address.
When I asked about where the glasses were (because I was expecting them to my new address) I got this rather curt email, despite my physically having been updated well before they shipped the glasses:
"Thanks for contacting Lensabl! We're so sorry we're unable to update address and shipping (BUT YOU DID UPDATE IT I HAVE A CONFIRMATION). Order got picked up already (PICKED UP? BY WHO?). Let us know if we can help with anything else." Umm... yes, you can help with something else! You can tell me where the hell are my glasses. I had to spend the next few days tracking them down by connecting with the building management at my old address, and had to have them sent to me from there.
This was a mess and I will never recommend this service or use it myself again. I didn't even get a coupon or discount or apology email at the end of all of this. The sad part is that the lenses themselves aren't half bad. They did a pretty good job considering I ordered progressives which are hard to get the eye line right on.
Received my shades on June 14th. The left eye apparently does not have my prescription in it because everything is blurred. Right side is perfect.
What do I do now? It has taken so long to get the shades back, I hate to send them back and have to wait another month.
Major shout out to lensabl! Unlike eyebuydirect, they were able to make glasses in my prescription. I made a mistake on my end but customer service got it all fixed pretty quick. Although my glasses came out a tad bit too tight/small, I will be buying from lensabl again, for sure.
Don't ever buy from Lensabl. I paid, but then they lost my 3 pair of glasses. And, the process took over 2 months. They wouldn't give a refund or credit. I finally got a refund from Credit Card Company but Lensabl fought; unbelievable. Now I'll go to Small Claims Court for the rest of my money. Lensabl won't even contact me or compromise. Terrible company. Terrible customer service. Terrible quality.
I had tinted progressive lenses made for a my frames. They work well and use them for most of my outdoor activities. The ordering process worked well. Except for a delay to redo lenses that did not pass quality tests, I was pleased with the turnaround time of 2.5 weeks.
I have been waiting for the lenses to be replaced in my sunglasses for over a month. I received an email from Lensabl stating that my lenses didn't pass quality control and they would be making new lenses all over again. The wait was tedious and I missed many social events in which I wanted to wear my glasses, but I must say that I received my glasses with new perscription lenses last night, and they are spot on beautiful! I love the grey/green tint. The lenses feel high quality and well made to fit.

I was a little skeptical about the process of taking a selfy with a card under my nose to determine the PD and SH of the glasses but it seamed to work. The process took a little longer than I expected (about 4 weeks). End result - Really Happy!

I sent in my frames March 21, finally received glasses back on Jun 12. The distance vision and midvision are perfect. I can barely read with what was supposed to be a progressive bifocal. I found the sweet spot when I lift the glasses all the way up so I'm looking through the lower edge of the lens. Not a positive experience.
Both lenses were prescribed an ADD = 2.75. The OS lens bifocal section measures ADD=3.75, according to my prescriber who measured your lenses yesterday. I would like to return them for a refund.

Months later I finally received the frames back from you - No Monogram?!?!? What the $#*!?!?! How many different ways can your company screw up, it's incredible. Your company is impossible to get a hold of, your phone number is a joke since zero staff actually answers it. Email is the only means of communication and let me tell you, that sucks and appears very shady. I want a full refund then I wish to never ever hear from your piece of $#*! company ever again. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all.
