The ordering process was easy and fast. The production, communication and delivery was not. According to Pensabl's emails my lenses were rejected three times and finally after 30 days they were sent. Throughout whenever I asked about time frame I was told 3-4 business days or 1-2 business days. Although the end product is fine, the frustration was probably not worth the savings. If the company would set a realistic timeline up front they probably would get better reviews.
I sent in some frames that were originally blue light glasses that I bought from Nordstrom. These guys followed my instructions exactly and they arrived back to me quickly. Would definitely use them again. I love these glasses!
I found the customer service to be very slow and not very helpful. When I first sent my stoggle lenses to them (with lensabl's label) I was told that my order never arrived and was being returned to an address I did not ship it from. After almost 2 months of various emails and different customer service agents, I finally found out that my order did Infact arrive at the facility and was being worked on. This was never updated on my order on the website.
I have finally received my order and I can not wear it. The lenses make me nauseous and give me a near instant headache. I am trying to again to contact customer service about it.
My lenses had scratches on them after only a couple of months using them. I reached out to Lensabl to find out how to fix the problem. My purchase had scratch warranty so all I had to do was send my glasses back to them. The whole process was quick and easy.
Horrible! Do not order lenses from this company! I still don't have my glasses and when they respond to my inquiries they keep promising 2-3 days, still no sign that they're even ready, much less shipped. I ordered in May. Beware!
I appreciate the care that I experienced with Lensabl. I always knew what to expect in the timing of my repair and shipping with the precise communication regarding my order. The sunglasses were packed and shipped with great care, and were fixed beautifully. I feel like I have new sunglasses... and since they have been a long time favorite, to have them back in such excellent condition is wonderful. Thank you all very much!
Overall I rated it at 3 stars because it took 8 weeks and many, many emails to customer service to get my lenses. I even turned to BBB at six weeks because they kept saying my lenses were rejected after the final inspection before mailing. This happened 4x. They do not offer a way to speak to anyone on the phone which was frustrating too. They did always reply in a couple days to my emails.
When I finally received my glasses I was so thankful and the lenses were perfect. I guess it was worth all the hassle.
I sent my RayBans to have the lenses, which were all scratched, replaced. In all honesty, I made a mistake in the color/darkness I selected. When I realized my error, I contacted Lensabl and they provided a label to return them with a promise to match the color/darkness of the original lenses (which I also sent back to them). After not hearing from them in one month, I contacted them via email and got the auto response that it was received and not to contact them again, or my inquiry would go to the bottom of the queue. Good customer service?
A month later, I contacted them again, via email since that is the only way to communicate with them. I received a response saying they had a problem with the lenses and had to remake them.
After waiting another 3 weeks, they arrived in the mail yesterday. The lenses are still too light (no where near as dark as the original senses), but I'm done. I'll have to live with them as is. But I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I ordered glasses from Stoggles, this is the vendor they chose to go with... took way way way too long without adequate updating of the order status. The order status kept saying that it would ship in the next 6 days. I had to contact customer service multiple times. The goggles are in good shape, just wish I would have had them in time for my summer lab course.
Lenses are good and the overall process was quick and easy. Only one small issue,
I send my glasses with the brand new original case and they send me back a lensalb case which is not as nice as the original.
I would suggest to mention that in the instruction when costumer send glasses to the factory

My glasses are great, then lens are great. I have another pair of frames that I going to send later on. The only thing is it took a month to come back. I had another pair just incase to wear. It would be great if your company could shorten the experience to three weeks instead of a month. Thank you so much I am very pleases with my glasses.

I order lens for echo frames 2nd gen, a few the ago i receive the lens but the lens not fit, The lenses are too thick for the glasses, there is no way for them to fit because the channel of the glasses is finer.
Customer service is not great.

There are identical tool marks on each lens, scratches I cannot remove, caused, I assume, by something you used to hold them.
These are small scratches I'm willing to live with rather than send them back to you and wait another month.
They are okay but I was surprised to see the tool marks after you made such a big deal about how you make sure they're perfect before you send them.

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
