Easy to do the exam and the contacts I ordered arrived even faster than I expected!
Took over a month after I ordered my Bose Sunglasses for the order to arrive I gave them a deadline date and asked for a refund twice and both times I got refused and was given excuses. After I got my glasses I noticed a large break in the corner near the nose pad where I believe they hoped I would not notice it. So now I have to send them back to wait another month for new ones again. Overall I wish Id never ordered from Lensabl the customer service is slow their refund policy is bad and quality control is a joke. If you are thinking about ordering from them I would highly recommended getting your glasses from someplace local so you can avoid some of these problems.

Don't buy. The status on my order said it would be ready in 6 business days every time I checked, it still said that this morning 28 business days after ordering when I record the glasses. I inquired on the status and after a 25 hours period was told me there was issues, only after I inquired. This happened 3 times, once on a failed PD - 8 days after order, and two times the glasses failed "failed qc", then they suddenly arrived. I requested a call on 5 occasions and did not get one. Customer service would not answer my questions. Terrible service and support with questionable quality. Glasses arrived with a scratch on the lens- I'm too tired to even return them, wasted 465 dollars and countless hours.
I didn't have a great experience, unfortunately. There were issues from day one after I placed the order, where the lab had said they received my glasses when I hadn't even sent them in. Delays arose with the USPS (not controlled by Lensabl, I understand). Then the frames were sent to Lnesabl and returned in an okay time period. I had an issue with the lenses within the first 4-5 days of using them and requested to send them back. The representative said I would have to pay to ship them back for scratch issues, when that wasn't the issue at hand. It took nearly another month until I got the lenses back. I still don't know what happened to my original lenses. I don't think I'd recommend Lensabl again based on this experience.
While I do like the general business model of Lensabl, the actual experience of getting my new lens was a real headache. I started the process in early May to send in my frames (heart shaped), and while I knew that it might be a challenge, I trusted the team to keep me updated on the progress of my glasses. Unfortunately, it took nearly two months for any kind of substantial update on the status of my glasses, and more often than not, I had to initiate contact with the team to learn even that much. I recently received my glasses, but upon opening my package and trying them on, it feels like the frames are slightly bent along the nose bridge, as if the frames themselves had been cut and then reshaped.
Overall, the process from sending in my glasses to getting them back has been less than great, and if I were to attempt to use Lensabl in the future, it would definitely be only for regular frames.
It took over 6 weeks to get my glasses back. I reached out to customer service who didn't help much other than say they're in production. Website leads you to believe it will be much quicker than that but gives no explanation why it takes so long to get your glasses back.
I'm completely satisfied with Lensabl. The lenses were perfectly crafted. Unfortunately I was frustrated with the return shipping. USPS promised my package by end of the day Friday. It didn't arrive until Monday. Lensabl should use a more reliable shipper to return the finished eyeglasses.
Bottom line: The glasses they sent me after more than a month were not according to the prescription I attached. I can barely see out of them.
Some details:
First, I had a heck of a time submitting photos and prescriptions. Second, the website did not show an updated status although it took them more than a month to send my order. I had to follow up repeatedly with a Customer Service person who was, I have to say, extremely responsive and helpful. It is through her that I was told first that the tint I ordered was not available, that the lab had found a flaw and that the lenses would be redone - even after that, though she told me it would take 5-6 days, there was no update on the website - then, when I asked for a refund, which I was told they would not give even if there was an inordinate delay and lack of communication on their part, all of a sudden I was told that the order was being shipped - lo and behold - the glasses I got are unusable. I am almost certain that they shipped out whatever they had in order not to give a refund. When I contacted the rep again, she asked me to re-send my prescription and attach new photos (WHY - don't they already have what I sent?) I haven't heard back from her yet but she's been responsive so far, so I hope I'll hear something today. I will never order through Lensabl again - but that is for the future - right now, I just want usable glasses for the price I paid!

I must admit… it took longer than I though. From the time of order to completion was about 3 weekend, but I was so psyched so receive my perfect frames and a great prescription and just… all great.
I LOVE my lensabl lenses. It provided me with a simple way to replace the lenses in my fav frames. The order took a very very long time to complete. 3 + weeks. Customer service was very friendly and was able to secure me overnight shipping to accommodate, but I think letting customers know when their products need to be remade or will be delayed will help with a lot of frustration.
Just received my grandson's second pair of glasses and they are perfect. We have the second pair for him as he's playing football and he needs a back up just in case!
I was a little skeptical when I first heard about this site (sending in my expensive frames to some company I've never heard of?), but I am SO glad I did it. The process is super easy, and suddenly it's affordable to replace the lenses in old frames I'd tossed aside or buy new ones outside of my single insurance allowance.

Their technology for me to use at home was the first rate and better than any I have looked at in the past or Currently. They did the job for my glasses and lenses In a wonderful collaborative fashion with me the client.
The executed fall asleep and delivered my super Bausch & Lomb sunglasses to me in a very considerate amount of time.

Wanted to just replace my prescription lens into my existing frame that I love, I found your company on line after looking to no avail. Your company explained in simple terms what had to be done to acquire my goal of using my existing frame. Following your directions I sent and received back my frames and prescription within 30 days.

I had lenses put into Bose frames, was surprised first that I had to send the frames in. My previous ones were made, sent and I snapped them in myself. I have tried them out for a few weeks and I generally find that unless I turn my head to look square on at anything it is blurry or split. So now they are not my go to glasses, I wear them if I REALLY want to use the headphones.
Glasses came within a week and are in excellent shape
Lensabl sent my brand new frames back with a bent hinge and a scratched lens that they just installed. When they came back the second time the hinge was still bent. Their customer service is accessible only by email and are slow to respond. I do not recommend Lensabl.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
