Fantastic Experience

I ordered replacement lenses per the website directions. My PD was off enough to cause strain. (I used their selfie feature to measure PD. Suggest having a doc do it, or at least use a measuring device of your own.) They remade them with the correct PD and voila! They're spot on, high quality lenses well made, and I'm very happy. Service is first-rate. Highly recommended.

Excellent service

I Sent a pair of coach glasses and coach sunglasses to lensable for lens replacement. They exceeded my expectations. Shipping was fast, the sunglass lenses matched the original gradient and my prescription was spot on on both pair. The lab did forget to send my case back but when I emailed customer service they replied back almost immediately and they found my case the next day. Although it was my fault for sending my case, the fact that they took time to find it was exceptional! Most companies nowadays would not have done this. Their prices are also more than reasonable. I got a pair of lenses with everything I needed on them for $97 dollars; my optometrist was going to charge me over $300. I will be using lensable for my and families eyeglass names from now on. Thank you so much lensable for your services!

Let me begin by saying I do a ton of online buying. I was a little unsure about Lensabl but I said "what the heck" give it a try and I can't tell you how elated I am! I sent my favorite Maui Jim curve lens frames to lens a bell and they put in perfect clear lenses. Optically they are impeccable, visually they're also impeccable and those are tough frames to fit! Hi Vincent my Steve McQueen purse all glasses to have prescription sun lenses put in them again a homerun love them and have a been able to wear them for years but now I wear them daily! Finally I sent a pair of Persol sunglasses out to have their sunglass lenses replaced with clear prescription lenses. Another homerun! I must say their customer service, attention to detail, ordering, and delivery process as well as a genuine quality product exceeded my expectations. If you have any questions please let me know. I received my order back, bifocals, and the distance vision was perfect; however, I couldn't read with them. Contacted customer service and they promptly sent me a return authorization label. Just got the order back and they are perfect.

Great customer service.

After receiving the first order which weren't right, I contacted Rudy at Lensabl and they were quickly corrected with free 1 day shipping provided each way. My suggestion is to always provide the measurements that your optician will provide for distance between your eyes. I don't think the option to use a photo you provide is very accurate. Very happy with their service and my new lenses work great.

I spent over 2 months with Lensabl trying to get set of prescription lenses made for a pair of sunglass frames I provided. After 2 attempts, they still could not get it right. I then contacted the local eyeglass shop that had previously made a set of prescription sunglass lenses for me in order to obtain all of the specs, and provided these to Lensabl to duplicate. Lensabl said they would need to remake the lenses again - a third time - at an additional cost of over $300, putting my total expenditure with them at almost $650. For this cost I could have had my local eyeglass shop make the lenses correctly the first time, saved money and it would not have taken 2 months of hassle. I contacted the owner of Lensabl directly and suggested they refund half of the $300 I had already paid, and I would eat the rest and chalk it up to a bad decision on my part. NO GO, he says. And offers to refund me $100 of the $317 I paid for a set of unusable glasses. So, I'm out $217 and no sunglasses.

Avoid these guys at all cost. A local eyeglass shop will give you personal attention and make sure your glasses work the first time, and for less money. Lensabl is a rip-off company.

I read the reviews and despite some trepidation, I decided to go with Lensabl for my progressive lenses. A few things went wrong- First, I couldn't load my prescription on the website. Second, I called support and emailed my prescription after some questions. Third, the glasses came back after 3 weeks and they were wrong as they flipped the signs on one of the lenses despite having the correct prescription directly. Fourth, I then sent the glasses and the time looks to be another 3 weeks. All in all, what could have been a good experience has been a poor one. I would have given this one star, but I did like the chat feature for help. Although they couldn't help move the order forward quickly and my order was wrong, they were attentive. If you think the turnaround will be 2 weeks or so, you're kidding yourself. It appears that the sales function and the lab are totally disconnected and I wouldn't be surprised if the lenses are created in a totally different location. They have to get this down if they want to get repeat business. Just not efficient.

Hi David, we are sorry your order took longer than expected and hope the final outcome was worth the wait. On average, most orders are completed in about 2 weeks from start to finish. Once we receive your glasses, lens production takes about 4-7 days barring no issues in quality check, and then the time to return them to you.

I wanted to get new eye prescription glasses and my husband suggested Lensabl as they seemed to have reasonable prices. I submitted all the required paper work and after waiting almost a month, I finally got my progressive glasses. Immediately, I found that my right eye had the wrong prescription. I made them aware of this and they asked me to send pictures, which I did. After not responding to me I contacted them again and they told me to send my glasses back that they were going to fix the problem. It took them 2 months to get those glasses back to me. No one will respond to my emails until one day I got an email saying that my glasses were going to be delivered soon. They did! I have been using my glasses for a year now and the coating on the right lense is coming off. This place is just terrible. The quality of the lenses is the worst I have ever seen. I have been using glasses for 50 years and I have never had this problem ever. Please, if you want to get good quality of lenses with the correct prescription, pay a little bit more and run away from this scam.

Hi Mayra - our lab is one of the largest optical labs in the world, and our lenses are the same quality used by optometrists. While coating defects are rare, they do occasionally happen. We offer a 90 day lens warranty on all orders and an extended 1-year warranty for only $10.

First order was damaged in production, so they arrived about a week late. When they did arrive, the pupillary distance had been improperly calculated, so I had to go to take the measurement myself with a vernier caliper and send the glasses back to them. Another 10 business days later, the glasses are correct and work fine. Communication was good and responses were fast.

Perfect Lenses

I had what I thought was an unusual order: Like most people, I wanted new lenses for a set of frames I had, but I wanted Progressive lenses with no correction at the top and a +1.50 reader at the bottom. Oh, and they had to be gradient sunglass lenses. Lensabl came through with flying colors! I'm ordering more lenses for my other frames today!

Wrong lenses in glasses

Ordered 2 different glasses and they switch the lenses. Took forever to get the first pair and am waiting to see how to return them to fix it. No way to call. All done by email and super slow. Would not recommend do to lack of speed and ability to actually speak to a person.

Lensabl is a lensfail

I saw their ad on Instagram and wanted to give them a chance. They let me down terribly from the start. After ordering my lenses for my favorite Versace frame I sent it the frames in August 15 (cost of progressive lenses was over $600). After several emails the frames arrived 4 weeks later. The prescription was wrong so back went the frames and lenses. I've been waiting since Sept 25th - that's 4 weeks again. Still no frames and lenses. No phone to call. Emails don't help. Will never ever use this service again. Just hoping to get my frames back so I can use a local optical store. So much for trying a new business trend!

I purchased lens for 2 frames from Lensabl and am super happy. I refuse to pay $200/lens at my eye doctor. Prices are so much fairer here and they seem to get all the correct measurements to make sure the progressive change is in the right place. One pair is transitions and they are perfect too. Things couldn't have gone better for me. I will be back!

Issues 2nd time around

Finally received my glasses back a second time. Turns out if you are getting a reflective coating on sunglasses, it's outsourced. They finally arrived after several e-mails and weeks. But alas the left lens still has an issue. Not as bad as the first time around (talking just the lenses) but I've given up. Not trying a 3rd time. Will get them re-made locally.

Absolute nightmare. Plus they clearly delete any negative review on their own site. They told me they couldn't put lenses in my frames. Then, upon pushing them they had LOST my frames, a completely different story. Then after waiting 8 weeks, my glasses showed up and the lenses had marks on them. Upon sending back they did confirm that issue, but I still don't have my glasses back after over 2 months of dealing with them. Seems to be unethical, and dishonest at best as a company. I just want my frames back at this point, worried they could be lost again. I would not use them.

Fantastic Process

Following website directions, and an inquiry regarding my rimless frames, I successfully mailed my package with preprinted company label that included frames and new progressive prescription. Receipt of the package was acknowledged and work began. In 2 weeks I have my glasses back and saved substantially over visiting a box store location. I will be recommending Lensabl, Inc. to all my east coast friends. Great Job, Fast Service.

When I first received my order there were small issues with the coating but they were more than willing to correct the issues and I had my finished glasses in perfect condition within 2 weeks from start to finish.

I bought the ultra thin lenses with the coating that was supposed to prevent glare and reflections. When I received my glasses, the lenses were thin, but because I had anti-reflective / anti-glare coating in the past I could see right away after putting the glasses on that the coating was either not there or highly inadequate. I contacted their "support," and was told the coating was there. They asked me to send a picture, which I did (the picture showed how you could not even see my eyes because of the glare/reflection). They wrote back to tell me that is how they are supposed to look because the glare is being reflected away! That is, of course, absolute nonsense. I wrote back and got yet another person who said there was nothing wrong with the lenses, and there would be no refund of any amount, but I could send them back to have them looked at (why do that if there isn't going to be a refund? And what do I use in the meantime?). If you say "white," Lensabl support will say "black." It was a frustrating, awful experience, and I have glasses that my eyes cannot even be seen through the lenses the reflection is so bad. I would have been better off going to my regular optician and just paying the extra $100 to get quality lenses and coating that enables my eyes to be seen. What an expensive lesson! Spend a little more, and get glasses done right! Quality coatings and lenses make a HUGE difference. There is no number to call, so you have to email them and then wait (and wait) for a response.

The ordering process was a little tricky, but after a little trial and error I was able to successfully place my order. I figure it took about 4 to 5 days and another 3 day shipping time to receive my order. Exellent communication on their part. I recieved my glasses in a beautiful case along with lens cleaner and care instructions. Bottom line is, you can't rush quality. I've read the mixed reviews and I stand by what I've written. Excellent job, I will use this company again, thank you, GE CASTRO
