Lens.com's bait-and-switch tactics of advertising easy discounts through rebates is ludicrous. Upon purchase, I did not receive even one notification regarding the rebate, no email instructions and no information is printed on the packing slip.
Rest assured no rebate debit card like the one pictured on their website will magically appear in your mailbox. The amount of work on me as the customer to find out about the rebate post-purchase is absurd as is their robot operated "customer service" department. Where are the humans?
Avoid the headache and giving your money to Lens.com at all costs, then go find a reputable Optometrist near you to keep your business local and away from these scammers.
Wish I could give them ZERO stars. This company has basically criminal practices. What should have been $260 for contacts for one person for one year (and blah, blah, blah...yeah, I could get a rebate, which is almost impossible and often doesn't come for many months, if ever!) was actually $409 at check out. What? The? Actual? Heck? (language edited for public consumption). THERE WAS ZERO indication at any point in the purchase/check out process that I was going to get assaulted with a "processing fee"...and one that HUGE. I called immediately, tried not to take out my frustration on the person who I spoke with (but come on...you're working for crooks...this can't be the first time someone called to inform you they'd gotten SCAMMED), and I THINK (waiting to check credit card...fingers crossed) that they refunded. Immediately went to discountcontacts.com and paid only $358 TOTAL for a years' worth of contacts for me & my husband. You do the math. Lens.com should not be allowed to do business. That is all.
Ordering was easy and my lenses were delivered quickly.
This was my 5th and final order with Lens.com, other 4 orders were fine but now they add a service charge to your order, my service charge was 88% of my lens cost. There was nothing to explain this on the site and my invoice checking out did not have this on it. After I got the charge they send an invoice with the total. Over $200 was added, no line item no explanation. I contacted them and they call it a service charge, I call it unethical scamming. I own a very successful small business and I would NEVER dot anything like this. This is probably illegal and not sure how those people sleep at night. I am going to turn this over to the FL State District Attorneys Office. I am sure they have done this to thousands of people and should be stopped. I put in the receipt I got after challenging the service fee, I redacted my info and my Dr's. Still on my account it shows clearly no line item for the service fee, just and added $205.92 for no reason at all.

Every time I order from Lens.com I am lured in by the rebate, and every time I have a terrible experience. You have to print a from, save your "box tops", mail back your receipt and everything via physical mail and then wait MONTHS to receive a rebate card in the mail. If you don't do it immediately the window for your rebate closes and they will not honor it. I have lost $360 in rebates due to this. My last order I paid for overnight delivery and my order was not shipped over a week later and I had to leave the country without my contacts. Moving forward I am looking for a new online contacts company. I have spent thousands of dollars with them and have been disappointed too many times by lens.com.
Wanted to order 4 boxes. Total around $80 they say after rebate. Ok no problem. At checkout taxes and fees are over $105 dollars. I chat with customer service. They say the rebate takes care of the fees. After rebate my order will be around $197. What? Their taxes and fees eat up the rebate. So there is no discount. Not buying from them anymore. Plus I believe that the rebate comes in gift cards. So you are out the whole amount. Be aware.
Terrible customer service, asked for my prviousr prescription and that is exactly what they gave me back. I can't see clearly, money back guarantee is a joke. Agent just disconnected chat on me after telling me my prescription, I told him that it was not letting me see clearly. He said " I hope I have answered your questions, have a great day." the disconnected. Will NEVER use them again.

After a month and a half of waiting for my order and sending them presentation though email and web 3 times, I called them and learned that they never processed the order. I talked to two supervisors Ty and Candy. Asking them what happened to my order and they said it was a flaw of the system and took no responsibility, I told them I'm running out of lenses and I need my contacts and they promised they will get back to me with the updates the same day. They both refused to give their extension number or email or any way to contact them back. After 4 days there was still no updates or emails I called again and both of them were unavailable to answer. So I had to go ahead and cancel the order, after literally waiting from June 24 to Aug 13! For nothing. It blows my mind how people like this can be employed by a any business as costumer service, let alone supervise others!

Got contacts at an incredible price. Shipping wasn't the fastest, but was received before expected date. Well worth the wait. Will definitely order again.

The customer does not EVER see what the additional charges are or what they are for even when checking out online. The customer representative we called admitted there were the hidden fees that are not itemized anywhere. We could see the price difference but did not have any explanation as to why what was advertised did not match what we were being charged.

Answer: I am in the same boat. I have not received my rebate and filled out all the paperwork correctly. My order was 9/16/2021. They have not offered any assistance to help. I have reached out multiple times. They over charge with processing fees and then with the offer of a rebate... which is not easy to follow the directions. Yout have to fill out rebate form which is not available for 30 days and has to be filled out 60 days from purchase. Then 4 months later they will not send the rebate with an the response is to wait it will come... I have been hearing for 2 months.
