I love Kohls but I am UNIMPRESSED with the Kohls cash =( If you use your cash online and decide you want to return the merchandise at the store. They will NOT give the full refund! Only a small portion of it or you can go try to find something in the store for the Exact value of the item! What a PAIN! I wandered around and around in the store trying to find something for that amount! Finally I just settled on something I didn't really want! They should refund the purchase for the exact amount as the receipt!
Kohl's is a corrupt store. My mom bought two fit bits she took one back with a receipt a week after buying it due to my dad and the kind of work he does. My mom loved hers until it quite working with her phone. She couldn't find the receipt when she went to take hers back. They processed the return and asked her if a check would work. She only had hers for a month btw. They told her she would receive a check in 6 days. When she didn't receive anything she called the main office they told her there was a issue at the store. She went to the store they told her she would have to call main office when she called back they said she was flagged in the system as a shoplifter. My mom has never shoplifted so she found her receipt whent back to store they said there was a mix up with a nother person. She then received the check then days later a letter saying she owed $150.00 for shoplifting a speaker. They are sending threatening letters so it looks like she has to get a lawyer
In the past kohl's cash & other discounts that were a day past were honored which I loved! Ur discounts r minimal currently. I use 2 get discounts in the mail all the time which I don't get anymore the last 1 I got was 15% what a joke. U no longer honor old kohl's cash which is not helpful 2 me a grandmother who shops only periodically. I use 2 have a reason 2 shop kohl's and it would help with u honoring my kohl's cash & other discounts especially at birthdays & christmas. I have no reason 2 shop at kohls as the quality is no better than shopko or Walmart and since I get no other insentives i will likely stop shopping at what use 2 be a very good store.
I received an email from Kohl's today. Instead of the usual offers for a $100 gift card to take a survey, or Sales/Specials/Coupons Kohl's cash updates, This one was titled "You've received a Kohls Reward of $******* Claim now. Confirmation required Coverage XXXXX'
The Email was a 'congratulations, you can receive a $100 gift card' for completing a Kohl's survey, Gift card good toward a list of Items sans shipping and handling.
As this is not 10K, this email is illegal. Its a scam known and Bait and Switch. I tried to find someone to make aware of this and ended up getting the run around by about 4 different AI. No email i can forward the email to. Only a couple numbers to call one of which came back not in service. Its after hours now and frankly I am so annoyed and the ridiculous run around over this ( This would be hell for so many seniors to try to handle) that I am mad enough to just pursue this legally to make a point that they cannot get away with pulling stunts like this.
Another antiquated business that needs you to create yet another marginal internet account instead of using top-level single sign on SSO providers e.g. Google, Facebook
Frederick MD store was worse than Goodwill in appearance... stuff thrown around, untidy shelved merchandise, racks of cloths stuffed on racks... horrible oresentation.
When you remove My Pillow products just because corporate execs disagree with Mike Lindell politically or are afraid of the Left, you alienate MOST of your customers! This is a STUPID business practice!
Things there overpriced. Lady signed me up for a kohls card worth $300 that i didn't even want and had to make my fiance go cancel it. I like there shoes though.
I was visiting family in Atlanta, and I ordered 2 items I needed for Christmas. I scheduled the delivery to the Atlanta address which were supposed to deliver on 12/22/2021. One item arrived, but the other did not. Today is 12/29/2021, and I have traveled back home and am no longer in Atlanta. I can see that the 2nd item has a label created but it still has not shipped. Now I no longer need the item because it's too late. Trying to find a phone number for Kohl's customer service is a challenge. Normally, you can go to the bottom of a company's website, and they have a "contact us" link, but when you click on Kohl's "contact us" link, it only gives you a list of frequently asked questions, but no phone number. When I tried to do a chat with them on their website, I asked for their customer service phone #, and the chat box kept "churning" and I never received a response. After spending approx. 15-20 minutes of searching, I finally found a number to call. When I called the number, the cell connection was terrible, as the call kept breaking up on us. Very stressful. I'm hoping that my order was cancelled, and a refund will be forthcoming. Time will tell. I will never shop at Kohl's again because they are not easy with which to do business.
When you remove Mike Lindell's My Pillow products JUST BECAUSE corporate execs disagree with him politically, or are afraid of the Left coming after you, you ALIENATE most of your customers! This is a STUPID business practice. Restore freedom of choice in purchases!
Where do I even begin?! Duplicate orders; SEVEN incorrect items fulfilled; they request that you drive to the store to return mistakes made by them & then won't allow you to use the same discounts you used when you reorder the correct merchandise; incorrect items pictured/described on website!; incompetent kohls.com customer service & they don't speak English well & give wrong information; emailing customer service is a joke-they don't even read the emails & reply w form letters; worst of all, THEY WONT PRINT A NEGATIVE REVIEW or PRINT A NEGATIVE ANSWER to a question asked by a different customer! It's ridiculous. And no management/supervisor will contact me. Sadly, there's more. I'm just tired of writing!
Overall good experiences with kohls.com - items are received in a reasonable time (although not quickly) and returns are easy.
But... I would never again order furniture through the website! I had two separate experiences (thought the first was a fluke, but it happened again) where items received were damaged beyond belief. Not just nicks or scratches. The table we ordered came with an entire (long) end bashed in from damage in shipping due to very poor packing. A chair came with deep gouges in it from the little bag of screws, etc. opening and rolling around. I realize that both items came directly from the manufacturer, but I feel they are somewhat responsible for choosing their vendors carefully. Returning the items was a pain - they were too large for me to get back to the store in my car. The first time it took 2 tries to get UPS to come pick it up. They set it up so someone had to be there to sign at first. Thankfully, I live in a neighborhood where I can leave a package out to be picked up. Otherwise I would have had to take time off from work as they only pick up M-F.
Worst part about the whole experience is that when I tried to leave a review on their website, they sent me an e-mail saying it didn't meet their standards. Trust me, there was no inappropriate language!
I love shopping at Kohl's in Bismarck but have had the worst customer service for my internet order. I ordered a chair and ottoman set on the last day of a Kohl's cash earning period which I would have received $60 and had 2 promo codes saving me almost $150. The next day I receive an email that my order was cancelled. When I called in, they said it was because they needed to do a payment verification since I made 2 payments on my account in the same day... apparently this isn't a good thing to do? Anyways, I spent 30 minutes on the phone and talked to 3 different people, the last one being a customer service supervisor (Ann). They did nothing to rectify the situation because they cannot reproduce the Kohl's cash since it is computer generated. They wouldn't do a price change because they needed a justifiable reason to... really?! What's more justified then you cancelled my order because I'm giving you more money?! If I didn't love my local store, I would absolutely stop shopping with Kohl's because of this. Customer service is no longer a priority with companies today.
I finally got a promo mailing for 30% off (usually get only 15%).
I tried to place an order for a total of $178 after discounts, and was to also get free shipping and $30 Kohls Cash.
I used my Kohls card, of course and input everything correctly.
When I reviewed my cart and hit "continue" there was an error page that the website server was unavailable. I tried for 25 minutes. Same page kept cropping up.
Then of course it's 1 minute after midnight and my discounts, kohls cash and free shipping are no longer valid. Am I an angry customer? You bet!
Furthermore, when I write to Kohls and complain, all I get is a 'we're sorry for the inconvenience... blah blah blah." They will not make good on the offer even though the problem was with their website.
Perhaps they had too many customers trying to take advantage of the discounts before the promo ended. If so, they need to fix their site to handle the traffic.
This is grossly unfair, as I could have saved over $200.
Even under normal circumstances, their website stinks. It takes forever to get to an item's page. It's not possible to filter several criteria at once such as shoes, women, size 9, blue, dressy. No. You have to do one filter at a time and wait, and wait and wait.
What's worse? Kohls really does not care.
The worst shopping experience ever. My payment was delayed. Some of the items were also missing. I wanted to return all of the staff but wouldn't get any refund for that. I will not buy again here.
Kohls is brilliant at marketing with there discounts and special offers. It works for me though because I find myself shopping there whenever I need clothes. They have great prices and selection.
I got the Ultimate Bath Towel from Kohl's. It's soft, absorbent, and holds up well after numerous washes. Online shopping was a breeze and the delivery was prompt.
I've been a loyal Kohl's customer since they sold groceries in the Milwaukee area! That is now over. I will never step foot in a Kohl's again nor shop them online., as they have informed me that they don't want me anymore!
Recently I bought a whole bunch of stuff at Kohl's online and sent them to different recipients as gifts. The last one was an especially large order, which they cancelled and sent me an email with no explanation but a telephone number to call. I did. I got customer service. After some lengthy verifications of who I am, what credit card I used and where the gift was going, they told me they would not reinstate the order. When asked why, they said it looked like I was a reseller, and they did not sell to resellers. When I explained the real situation, it did not influence their decision a bit, and I had to re-buy everything at Overstock (a company that appreciates my business!)
They should get a clue. There are plenty of other online stores happy to take my money! But the real issue is, they accepted the sale, then reneged. Isn't there a law against this? Was a contract not formed? Did they not default?
If you have the Kohls CC, then you will get sent excellent deals in mail. Like 30% off and more! Kohls cash is awesome! If I had to buy regular price, then it would be expensive
Kohl's unethical credit practice
I was an excellent customer of Kohls for more than a decade and I had an exceptional credit history with my Kohl's charge. Last September our home was damaged in Hurricane Sally, we had to move and change our address and regretfully there was a delay in getting our mail forwarded. I made an $85 charge in November, didn't get a statement in December but I since I knew I had a balance, I went online and made a $50 payment (the minimum would likely have been $10). Busy with renovations, etc, storage units, etc. I didn't notice that did not receive a statement in January. In February I finally received a statement in the mail. I had a $15 balance with interest and late fee for a total of $65.92 which I paid immediately. In March, I applied for a mortgage loan and learned that Kohl's had reported me to the credit bureau and having that negative report would increase my rate of interest on the loan. I reached out explaining the situation to Kohl's and they declined to remove this negative report. So... I was a great customer, excellent credit, experienced a hurricane and since I didn't receive a statement, yet they reported me to the Credit Bureau... for $15 without ever attempting to call me about a past due account. I have never experienced anything like this so I feel it my responsibility to warn others about Kohl's unethical business practices. Since this is how they treat their good customers, I suggest you find another place to shop.
Answer: Don't know about Canada, but NO THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! They can't even figure out to send a glass picture frame in a box instead of a plastic bag. TWICE! And forget about a refund. Shop elsewhere, anywhere else.
Answer: Yes. See the back of your receipt. It says you can return items anytime for any reason.
