I had money taken out of my credit card for a yearly subscription without my permission. I signed up for a year in 2021 but didnt continue as original card that I used in 2021 had expired. Only recently I received an email stating if I wanted to renew my membership, I had to enter the new details, which I didn't. But recently I made a purchase and the card that I used, those details have been used to charge 99.00 yearly membership without my permission. This is credit card theft. Tried contacting the company by email but only received generic responses.
My Kogan shopping turned to a nightmare. I have ordered a spin bike to my home gym. The order was paid on June 15. Order history showed it's dispatched on June 19 and delivered on June 21. The fact was I DID NOT RECEIVE anything!
I have never received any email update from Kogan (not for the item dispatched, not for tracking information, not even when it showed delievered). I messaged to Kogan customer service on Jun19 about an update. They replied me 2 days later, apologizing the wrong update from their website and were dealing with the dispatch (which means the item hasn't been sent yet after their officially standard 5 business days).
I have kept messaging them asking for update, felt as miserable as I beg Kogan either sending me the item or withdrawing my money.
The last reply from Kogan was that the item was finally booked for delivery on June 27 but I have not even received a tracking number. Continuously asking customer service for a tracking information which spent another 2 days to reply.
The item was finally arrived on Saturday, July 1 in the early morning 8! It was not the usual delivery time Kogan adviaed and I was woken by driver's call even earlier.
So in total 17 days to send an item! With completely wrong order update, no tracking information and slow customer service reply.
I swear this is the last time I shop with Kogan.

Kogan has the most shady of business tactics you can employ just above the legal-illegal threshold. I ordered an item worth 360 AUD with delivery fee which weights 30kg or so. They did not think of notifying me for delivery, and the courier left me a note to collect it myself. How am i supposed to know when the item is coming if i am not notified in the first place. This is above my common sense. Then when I try to call courier company they go round and round in circular. Then when i contact kogan they do the same thing at first, but when I told them I am gonna go to police they start making an investigation. Upto this stage, its already 3 weeks since the order. At last, they said it will be resolved. Then the lag of communication is another thing. Takes too much of your time and energy to deal with these people. They try to make things complex, whilst its just that they can't do their job properly. At the end, I was again not notified for second delivery attempt, but luckily I was at home to answer the door bell. It got on my nerves, and send an email telling the costumer help that you did it again, the same thing all over again. Delivering my item without notifying me. I am sure, they would have left it on door this time, and since there was no rain cover, this item would have gone all wet and damaged. Aggghhh. Monsters.
I felt upset and frustrated about Kogan's customer service. I couldn't buy the product by using my rewarded credit. After I checkout, there is NO ACCOUNT CREDIT FOR ME TO CHOOSE.
I have sent them numerous emails, and they emailed me back with the instruction but still not working. Since then, no one communicates with me, and I can talk to someone on the phone to solve the issue. I felt very disappointed about their service.

Have tried literally over 100 times. Can't contact customer service, as you need to log in to send an email. Can't get a tax receipt, as you need to log in to get it. Can't see when it is being delivered, as you need to log in to get tracking. Can't call a phone number, can't get IT support. THEY ARE TERRIBLE - they take your money then you are on your own.
Recently went to Kogan for the purchase of alcohol, price was right. The first order eventually arrived after three weeks with no working tracking detail. Thought I would give them another go. Ordered six (6) bottles of sprits. Order was confirmed and email received advising me it had been shipped. Next day I receivedt card provider a call from unknown number which informed me that only two of the products ordered were actually available. I offered to wait. Rejected, won't have any for unknown time. Requested the order be cancelled and refund arranged through purchase credit card provider. This was done and six emails received both from Kogan and the credit card provider confirming. A week later Kogan offered me the opportunity to review the experience. Attempted to several times all without success as despite the offer I found it impossible to break through the Kogan technology barrier to do so. Conclusion, third world mob, user unfriendly and Not To be trusted. Remember, order was shipped and they did not have the items that formed the order. Pathetic!
I have bought a lot from Kogan. I was extremely disappointed with Ovella dresser arriving flat packed with half screws missing. It's wobbly and going to landfill. Specs did not say flat packed. I went to buy clearance on Greta Bar Cabinet but $188- delivery to Sydney suburb was absurd. I received email to ask if I still wanted it and I declined saying delivery too expensive. Anyway I checked delivery price again and guess what it went to $230 dollars. Definitely not buying it.
I placed an order for an item and was offered a trial membership of Kogan First free of charge. When I hit enter to agree, somehow I was charged an annual fee of $99.00. I contacted customer service immediately which agreed to cancel my Kogan First membership and refund the charge to my credit card. Despite several followups, I still have not received the refund which they attributed to processing delay due to increased processing volume.
Suction power is negligible even on boost. Fills with dust in a small amount of time. Needs to be cleaned thoroughly after each use. Cleaning is a nightmare. Parts are tight to remove and then it is difficult to reassemble. Have on old Volta bagged vacuum which I think was built when Jesus was full back for the Nazareth magpies and it works infinitely better despite being heavy and difficult to manoeuvre. But in all seriousness the Kogan product is purely and simply junk. I wouldn't give it away. Kogan should be ashamed and ultimately be held to account for passing this rubbish on to an unsuspecting public

After I paid $100 to become a "first " member (includes free delivery) I was quoted delivery fees. I tried to contact Kogan, with no luck, and eventually found a link where all postcodes that Kogan do not deliver and there are literally hundreds. I have unsubscribed from their email list but still receive approximately 10 everyday.
Have never seen a worst customer service. Bought a pair of shoes which was abit small and wanted to return. However still having problems more than a week now. Being a Kogan First member, I was promised priority and concierge service. Nowhere close. I wouldn't recommend Kogan. I have unsubscribed since and NEVER to buy from them ever again.
I have used Kogan due to the low cost but... I bought a Kogan branded smartphone. I knew the specifications are low, but as long as it worked. It died after a few weeks and it wasn't worth the effort to send back. I bought two Kogan branded TVs for the bedrooms. They were very light and easy to mount onto the existing brackets. We use the tv for thirty minutes in the morning while drinking our morning tea and watching the news. The TV lasted just over a year, then it won't last ten minutes before the 'signal lost' error message. I am now using the local TV streaming services, but sometimes that will say 'can't connect'.
$#*!smith sold me a faulty MacBook air and while it was still in 3 month warrant the whole screen just cut out. They have been mucking me around just to get the required return address details. I have sent them screenshots and told them what the problem is and they know they sold me a faulty MacBook air knowingly, and now they want to muck me around for the warranty refund. They have tightened the screen ribbon belt and sold me the laptop and they knew that it wouldn't last more than a couple of months at best. NEVER BUY FROM KOGAN OR $#*!SMITH, YOU WILL REGET IT.
I ordered a book. They sent it to the wrong address. I communicated several times through email, as there is no phone number I could find. Their Customer Help Center asked for a screenshot of my account that showed my delivery address and I obliged. But that wasn't good enough, they are telling me the wrong address is on my account, well I don't know how they come up with that when a screenshot was sent. They more or less are calling me a liar. They won't admit it is their fault. Three weeks later I'm still sending emails to them and still getting the run-around and them still stating that the wrong address is the one on my account. What is wrong with this company? I'm glad I only ordered a small item and used Paypal to purchase it. Paypal saved the day. Personally, I will never order through Kogan again, they are only a middleman gaining a commission from others. I encourage everyone to source from the supplier directly and use Paypal.
My card was used by the scam group to purchase items on this website. I couldn't find any customer service or phone calls on this website. They only accept email and finally, they call me over 36 hours. The only thing they said is they can't do the only thing about it and can't give me any information about another customer. Also suggest I call the police. How the $#*! am I going to report the police if I can't provide any information? The lost is lost Well, then why not hurry up and find a way to patch your website so bad guys don't use your site to launder money? And why not feel like banning their accounts, more people will suffer. Also, sit the goddam customer phone service.

Checking the status of my order 3 days before it was ment to show up and they can't find half my order as it was shipped in two boxes. So I asked for a replacement thinking an extra week would be ok -STILL $#*!ED IT UP all i got was some bullshut sorry do you want us to send another replacement!? Noooo it's been 7WEEKS! I want my bloody money back. But trying to get a refund has been a $#*!ing nightmare too! Take photos print new return stickers take this $#*!en hugebox to post office only for them to say no! Kogan need to organise collection so now I'm stuck with 1 massive box waiting for a courier - (we live rural) on top of ruining my sons birthday and making me run around for no reason! I am beyond mad.
Im not well off and I saved to get him something special to spend time outside. Don't waste your money i know iv learnt my lesson. I make a good effort to get my kids special gifts won't be wasting my money here again an ill make sure my family know not too.
As with many complaints that have proceeded before mine. I have had the run around also with Kogan and I am convinced that they have robots to anwer all emails requesting something be done for a defuncted remote so I can watch my Kogan TV. 2 months later still no resolution so I have made a complaint with the ACCC for resolution. Stay clear of this company and spend your money at Amazon and get Prime Video for 6.99 per month. Yeah I am a winner!
I recently returned an iPhone that stopped working and Apple were willing to exchange it under warranty until they found out that it was brought in HongKong via Kogan. Kogan were happy to refund the entire value for the iPhone and asked for Notes from Apple. Despite 6 weeks since Kogan received the return package, they have not yet contacted me for the refund and stopped communicating altogether! There is no phone number on their website so all messages are sent via their help centre on their website. Tickets have gone unanswered even though I'm a Kogan First priority member!
26/03/2023: I contacted Kogan via Facebook and twitter and their Facebook team responded very very quickly. I have therefore changed the overall rating from 1 to 3. I also received a full refund after my case was examined by their senior staff.
Note to the community: Kogan has a potential ticketing bug where their replies to older tickets are not received by the customer. In my case a Kogan representative contacted me via phone and said he had replied to my emails which were missing from my inbox. He even sent emails to alternate email addresses which were not received. However, once he initiated a new ticket, we received their email.
