I ordered something online so I could have a curbside pick up when I called that I was there so they could bring it out the lady by the name of Susie answer the and very ugly saying we have a very long line of customers it's going to be a long while before we can take it out. So I go in there was only 2 people checking out witch she was checking someone out and another girl. When I told the other young lady the person was very rude on the phone Susie started raising her voice at me in front of her customers saying she was not Rude on the phone and rolled her eyes at me.
"I ordered 2 mirrors to pick them up at San Tan Village store - Gilbert - AZ. On 09/19/17. Today, 10/15 and I don't have news about. I have never received any email, I tried chat but they say always the same: ON THE WAY. I called and the answer: ON THE WAY. I sent emails... NO ANSWERS. Of course... they have my money. This is a NOT TRUSTFUL and NO HONEST COMPANY. I think I just lost my money because looks like they won't deliver my mirrors. I have never seen nothing like that. Stay away! One star is too much. I am very mad and maybe it is time to expose this store on tv and how the customers are treated and how the customers are ripped off. I will never buy again. Never! It's a SHAME!
Detail: if you cancel your order you have to wait 10 WEEKDAYS to see your money back. Really disturbing and dishonest! "
I concur with other reveiws, online shopping and ship to store is a terrible experience. I ordered an item online at a great price to pick up in store. They confirmed my order but the next day canceled it stating only "we are unable to fulfill". I called customer service and found out they have a 2-hour policy to fulfill in the store you pick. If they can't fulfil it, they cancel it. They don't explain why, they don't give you an option to have it shipped, etc. Customer service wouldn't replace my order at the great price and didn't offer to do anything. They run a scam of an operation through their never ending sales; I'm sure the cheap stuff their selling from China and other places are marked up a bizillion percent and then put on sale with coupons to make you think you're getting a good deal. It's a game to see what coupons are coming next. I'm not getting sucked into this game again. Bye Bye Kirklands.
Please whatever you do never order from this place. All my merchandise wasn't delivered to my house. Then they tell me it nothing can do item cost $284.99. And there's nothing you can do. The devil is a lier. It wasn't never sent out with my other item.
Kirkland's is so racist for this! You just lost a few customers. Why are they insinuating that black women are the only criminals that enter their store?
Today was one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I have ever had! I was trying to order lamps which were on sale, and best of all Kirklands was offering free shipping for most orders, Well after trying to add the items to my cart for over fifteen minutes, I finally called the store to try to figure out what was going on. I explained that the site would not let me add an item to my cart without first choosing a store, and all the stores it offered (a total of five) were out of the item. She said if the site was forcing me to choose a store, it meant that the item was out of stock online. Two things here are particularly maddening. First, the site would not allow me to set a perimeter for checking stores; it set it arbitrarily so that the best thing I could do was to insert random zip codes to try to see what stores outside of my area might still carry the item. This required going to Kirkland's location finder and entering in at least five other zip codes before I could check all stores within driving distance. The second problem is here is, "why doesn't the site just tell you that it is ONLY AVAILABLE FOR STORE PICK-UP"?! Just the five little words would have prevented incredible frustration! But, no...they just want you to think that the site must be glitching or something so that you spend the next twenty minutes online and on the phone with a store representative making yourself crazy! Finally, WHY CAN'T STORES SHIP ITEMS? They won't even ship store to store! This is the 21st century, the era of two day deliveries! Kirklands needs to get with the modern world!
Horrible customer service... took over a month to get order. Said they will call you back but never do when asking about your order, because no one seems to know there job.
I PLACED AN ORDER FOR 2 CANDLES ON AUG 1 2020. THE ORDER WAS IN "PROCESSING" FOR JUST UNDER A MONTH BEFORE IT SHIPPED. THOUGHT 'BETTER LATE THAN NEVER'-RIGHT? LAUGH WAS ON ME. THE CANDLES WERE BROKEN IN SHIPMENT! CALLED TO CHECK ON CREDIT TO MY CARD THIS AM. REC'D CREDIT BUT WAS MINUS SHIPPING FEE. WAS TOLD I WOULD SEE THAT HIT IN 3-5 DAYS. IF I EVER SHOP THIS COMPANY AGAIN IT WILL HAVE TO BE IN STORE ONLY! ONLINE? NO WAY!
On December 20th, 2022, I purchased three (3) mirrors at the store 861 *******@Market St.@ Heath Brook in Ocala, FL. One of the mirrors is showing a black stain in the lower corner. The other two mirrors are OK, nothing is damaged. Transaction Number for this purchase was ************** in the amount of $264.78. I called the store they said they can not do anything that I had to call corporate, I called Corporate and they said they can not do anything either, that I have to call the store again and try to have them replaced the mirror. I am very sorry, I am the customer, I paid for the items and no one is going to put me in the back and forth situation. The mirror was purchased 2.5 months ago, on March 20th it will be 90 days that it was purchased. Never had this issue with Home-goods or any other store that carry mirrors. I am very disappointment and if this is the way Kirkland handles the claims from the customers, regarding defective merchandise, I will never purchase any items from this company.
I am attaching the defective mirror showing the lower corner black as well as the purchase receipt.

Kirklands has the WORST customer service ever - I ordered 6 items online - picked up on 12/2/20 and one of the items was damaged - I made them aware of it at checkout and since it was a "green tag item" they would not refund my $ - I showed them the same item (ordered 2) and how the other one was not damaged - still no help - I told them this would cause me to stop being a customer and they did not care at all - I will never spend another penny in this store - Hobby Lobby will be getting my business from now on
I've been disappointed by misleading or downright deceptive promotional fliers from Kirkland's this week. Today, for example, I received an email promotion: "50% of ALL lighting... PLUS 30% of your entire purchase" A previous experience told me not to take Kirkland's promos at face value because I've gotten to online checkout only to learn that the promo doesn't apply to many items, including the one I wanted. But I pursued this one because the flier clearly stated that "ALL" lighting was half off. And the flier implied that any lamp would be 80% off (with the additional 30% discount on "entire purchase"). But I was duped again. I called Kirkland's when the lamp was only 30% at checkout. Susan explained that the lamp was already 20% off, and the additional 30% discount gave a total of 50% off. She acknowledged that the flier was misleading, especially by promising a 50% discount "PLUS" a 30% discount, but there was nothing she could do to correct the error except mention the deceptive messaging to the Marketing Department in the sky. Kirkland's has seen the last of my business.
Got stuck giving 1 star. They deserve ZERO.
UPDATE December 12,2022
Just received an email from Kristi at Kirklands and now the are ONLY offering $238 off a piece of furniture they delivered that is DAMAGED. I PAID $599 PLUS $149 FOR DELIVERY. GIVE ME A BREAK KIRKLANDS. THEY KNOW IT'S ONLY WORTH MAYBE $50.
The winter garden Florida store is not worth shopping at. Bought a piece of furniture, they WONT DELIVER, MANAGER IS HORRIBLE & LIES.
Called another store and the lady said to order online which I did. Received the furniture last week & the furniture is in HORRIBLE CONDITION. Was NEVER FINISHED, the surfaces are ROUGH, NAILS are STICKING UP, PIECE ON BACK CAME OFF, CHIPS and much more. The driver filled out the paper work saying it's DAMAGED, SENT PICTURES and told me to call customer service which I did right after they left. The girl asked me to send pictures which I did. They offered me $200 off, that's INSANE. Showed the pictures to someone who build furniture and repair, he said it's NOT WORTH ANYTHING & should just give it to me because I'd have a lot of work to do to get it where it should be. HAVE NOT HEARD A SINGLE WORD BACK FROM THEM.
THRIFT STORES SELL STUFF IN WAY BETTER CONDITION FOR WAY CHEAPER.
DO NOT RECOMMEND, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE.
I order an item from online and I choose pick up in the store my order arrived to the Kirkland on hall rd I went to pick it up and my baby was with me so I decided to call so they can curb side my order I called and they left me on hold for 11 minutes and the call got disconnected so I had to call again and she told me hold again I told her I was on hold for 11 minutes her answer was she have line inside the store and she had to take care of them and she told me if I want to come back later they provide curb side and they don't know how it works. The worst customer service
Have been a customer for over 10 years, but it will be A VERy long time if ever that I am back. Purchased some cushions 2 weeks ago with a credit card and linked to my kirklands points. Lost receipt. They would only do a store credit for 5% less than I paid. Called customer service and it was literally the worst customer service I have ever had. Lady was extremely rude. Extremely. She actually told me thanks for reading our receipt because we aren't required to do anything without a receipt. Gotcha, but customer service tries to make valued customers feel appreciated and make things right. She never once was kind or even apologized. Unbelievable their customer service online was 10 times worse than the store experience. Kirklands needs to progress with 90% of retail and actually be able to trace purchases to credit cards and what is the point of tracking your purchase to your points if it doesnt show the transaction. Outdated system with very very rude employees. Said they were recording. Hope they actually listen to how poorly my call was handled and how rude and unprofessional their employee was. No star rating. Below a one star. Shame on you Kirklands. You just lost a customer who bought things every season.
I bought some decorations for Christmas at the beginning of November, almost 30 days have passed and I never received any email with updates, when I go to check my order it only says PROCESSING.
The ladies at costumer service have been super nice but obviously they can't help much, and the worst thing is that I can't cancel and get my money back until they send my order.
It is so frutrating and more because THERE IS NO ONE WHO WILL HELP YOU!
This debacle started when I placed an online order to a store in Indianapolis (Ft Wayne did not have stock). My daughter was going to pick it up, but I decided to cancel the order the day after I placed it. When I called the store they said, "Your daughter need to make a return" - She never picked my order up! "Well, sorry that's what she needs to do." After arguing with them, they finally agreed to give me a STORE credit!?! Fine, I ordered a clock for $112. I live in Indiana, after 2 weeks I checked to see where my clock was and Fedex Tracking showed it in Canada. I chatted with customer service who told me it was a Fedex issue and my responsibility to call Fedex. I did, they said Kirklands put too many bar codes on the package. That was a week ago, Fedex just called me to say that because Kirklands put the wrong bar codes on the package, it was delivered to someone in Ontario Canada. I go back to Kirklands customer svc and she says, well now it's between you and your bank to get your money back. SERIOUSLY?! Kirklands is now checking to see IF they can refund or replace my order. I believe the problem is they hire 20-somethings who have NO idea the value of treating your customer like they are valued! Grrrrrrrrrrr!
EITHER AN ITEM IS PICKUP ONLY AND 30 MILES AWAY OR AN ITEM IS DELIVERY ONLY AND CHARGES YOU EXTRA FOR CAREFUL DELIVERY. CANT PICK UP ALL ITEMS TOGETHER OR SHIP THEM ALL TOGETHER. OFFER FREE SHIPPING BUT MY DELIVERY ONLY ITEM WONT QUALIFY. LIKE DO YOU WANT MY MONEY OR NOT!
Two Kirklands stores actually just opened up 5-10 miles from my house so I figured I'd also give their online store a try. Big mistake. I was really happy with the prices and was able to also get 15% off my first purchase. This was two weeks ago. After a week and a half of never receiving a shipping email I figured I'd reach out to their customer service. (Let's be honest, any reputable online store will ship WITHIN 3 days and that's even pushing it). I first sent them an email, no reply. Then I logged into their online chat and received a generic response "orders placed online will ship within 2-3 business days". My reply: "Oh, that's funny because I ordered this 8-9 BUSINESS DAYS AGO". She then replied I'd be receiving a shipping confirmation the following morning, which I actually did. I was unable to track my package for over 24 hours. When I finally obtained an actual delivery date, it is projected for ANOTHER WEEK FROM NOW. In conclusion, if you are willing to subject a month out of your life for a few pillows or a corner shelf, go ahead and order online.
Purchased "Windowpane Sliding Door Driftwood Gray Cabinet" online. It was delivered to me completely bent, broken, gouged on the front of it, and with broken sliding door mechanisms. I ordered it because it was not available at my store and because I am disabled/do not have a truck to drive a display cabinet home (or the ability to unload it, even with assistance).
Customer service is soooo unresponsive. After three days of waiting for an answer from them (sent them the below pictures), they send me an email that says "Please adhere to normal return policy by taking the item back to the store or printing a fedex label and taking the item to fedex."
First, is Kirkland's going to send someone to repack this thing?! Are they going to send fedex to pick this thing up?! I am not an able-bodied person here! Second, this cabinet is so trashed that it needs to go in the trash - do they think they are still going to SELL it? On top of everything, I bought the item on sale and was charged regular price!
Copying upper management at Kirkland's does nothing... As I copied my correspondence, including these pictures, to *******@kirklands.com (over Customer Service) as well as to *******@kirklands.com (VP). No wonder your company has been in the news with financial problems. You place no value on customer service or customer experience!
Let me just tell you about my recent experience with Kirkland's. On November 28 I place an order for a large mirror on line to give to my daughter for Christmas. The web site said it would be delivered to my house. A week and a half later I received an e-mail telling me that was a mistake and asking me what store I would like the mirror delivered to. No problem, I have a store only 5 minutes from my house. (I would have bought it in store, but they did not have any in stock.) I waited another week and a half and went to the store. No mirror. Then two days ago I received another e-mail telling me it would be delivered to my house. Confused, I made a phone call and was told by the girl I spoke with that she wasn't sure why, but it would indeed be delivered to my house. Yesterday it did not arrive. Today I get a phone call that once again the company screwed up and the mirror would not be delivered to my house and in fact would not be delivered to the store I requested it be delivered to, but great news, I could drive 2 hours to the nearest store that had the mirror in stock. It is now 25 days after the order date and you know I am not happy. I requested that they find someone to get the mirror and deliver it to me and was told there was no way they could make that happen. With 3 days to Christmas, I am no longer understanding.
