Ordered food through Bite Squad after taking a lengthy break from using them. Although drivers have always been polite & professional, they were taking more than two hours to deliver food to our house.
Last night, I gave them another chance. However, they brought the wrong food (READ: recipient is allergic to what they brought & we had to trash it) & there were completely missing items as well. The customer service people were less than sympathetic, telling me they would refund the missing item, but credit the "wrong" item to my Bite Squad account. So, let's see? Every time Bite Squad screws up, they get new guaranteed business from me? No thank you! The fact that the customer service people were so incredibly indifferent to the "you brought food that would put my hubby in the hospital if he had taken a bite of it, which is worse than not bringing food at all" argument, tells me it's time to never use their service again!
This is far from the first time they've brought the wrong food or (on the other end of things) taken hours to get it here. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me a dozen times, wow do I feel stupid! Avoid like the plague! You're better off ordering the food yourself and paying a neighborhood teen to bring it to you... Really.
