I purchased a large canvas wall print from Kirkland's and was charged an additional $20.00 shipping fee "due to extra care required to deliver this item." The print arrived damaged with scratches and scrapes, due in part to terrible packaging. The ink rubbed off on the corners and edges of the frame and both sawtooth hangers fell-off when attempting to hang and adjust the print. I wrote a one star review describing my dissatisfaction with both, the product and the additional shipping charge. However Kirkland's brazenly refused to post the review. Any disreputable, anti-consumer company that chooses to sell cheap products, up-charges for terrible shipping/packaging and then censors accurate negative reviews is unworthy of customer patronage.

Terrible online purchase and return policy

I placed an order online. Less than 24 hrs later I called to verify details on the item not available online. It was a wrong product. I asked to cancel but was told cancellation was only within 30 minutes. Items were a gift which made it frustrating for the gift recipients. Took a week for the order to ship and my return immediately. What a process just to cancel an item. Refund was not initiated until I called 2 weeks after item was returned. Refund was received 5 days later less shipping charges which was not indicated anywhere in the process. I could have had item returned to the store. Makes you value AMAZON so much more. Very rude customer service personnel except one person who responded to my late refund. Take your business elsewhere, not worth your tax dollars!

Worst customer service

I order an item from online and I choose pick up in the store my order arrived to the Kirkland on hall rd I went to pick it up and my baby was with me so I decided to call so they can curb side my order I called and they left me on hold for 11 minutes and the call got disconnected so I had to call again and she told me hold again I told her I was on hold for 11 minutes her answer was she have line inside the store and she had to take care of them and she told me if I want to come back later they provide curb side and they don't know how it works. The worst customer service

No customer service

I tried 2 days to place order online and no luck. So I called customer NO service. The rep was going to charge me shipping and then give the order to her supervisor to refund me the shipping. When I stated homey don't play that game she said there was a glitch in the system and it was the only way to process the order.
Explain to me exactly why you even have customer service? It must be to make people mad and have them go elsewhere. See ya later Kirklands. You obviously are not proud of your company or how you treat people.

Online store shopping is disaster! Their website tells you if you shop above $45 shipping is free and then There is no way to know if the stock is available online, and when I called costumer service they ask me to check nearby store. What is the point of online shopping if I have to call store one by one for my items availability and also go and pickup in store?

Rude customer service

I visited Kirklands yesterday, 9-16-2021. Now I know getting people to work period these days can be quite the challenge. But, really?...
I spent at least, $700.00 in this store recently and was returning a 60 dollar ottoman from that purchase. I admit I did not have a receipt, but hey, thats what the new technology resolves for us, these days, so I thought. It says so on there websight. Returns made on credit card purchases are acceptable without a receipt.
This customer servant saw me coming and whipped out those fangs. This was Snellville
Ga of all places. Between 2m and 5pm. She did have the presence of mind to look up my name on the data base. She then cocked that head, bristled that back and said, "l can give you a store credit ". I
Tried offering a little civility to the narrative by asking about the other CS rep that helped me with the original purchase as to when she might be available. She was all that anyone could hope for in a store purchase setting. While I was complimenting on her kind demeanor, I asked when she would be back, she snidely quipped, "we don't give out that information." (Guess she thought I was a homicidal X) and here I am looking like someone's grandmother.
I usually keep it simple. I just by all of my home decor from AT HOME STORES. Where they always get it right. Even in a pandemic. Ive never had, not so much as a kind of bad experience there. I dont know how they do it. But its been my experience. And you can bet your bottom dollar this wont happen again cause I'll be leaving this tyoe of experience to whomever has been floating this store.

The pay sucks!

Kirkland work their employees like a sweat shop its hot as hell in the store. You're lifting heavy $#*! furniture and mirrors all day including pictures, building shelves, bringing merchandise to floors, climbing ladders putting up heavy items on the walls, while managing to ring up customers and having to do curbside pick up which is ridiculous! This job is horrible! This is a multi million dollar company and they pay their employees like $#*!! What I make in a day is what 1 of their less expensive pictures cost! They are down your back about signing customers up for credit cards and to reward the employees we get chips and water! News to kirklands if you want employees to care give them a living wage and show them u care! We want money not some cheap $#*! snacks!

Customer service

I tracked my package and it said my package was delivered to my front porch. I get home and it's not there nor is there anything on my camera. I call Kirklands customer service and get told I need to dispute it on my credit card and reorder. Are you kidding me!? What kind of customer service is this!? I'll never buy from here again!

Please whatever you do never order from this place. All my merchandise wasn't delivered to my house. Then they tell me it nothing can do item cost $284.99. And there's nothing you can do. The devil is a lier. It wasn't never sent out with my other item.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This debacle started when I placed an online order to a store in Indianapolis (Ft Wayne did not have stock). My daughter was going to pick it up, but I decided to cancel the order the day after I placed it. When I called the store they said, "Your daughter need to make a return" - She never picked my order up! "Well, sorry that's what she needs to do." After arguing with them, they finally agreed to give me a STORE credit!?! Fine, I ordered a clock for $112. I live in Indiana, after 2 weeks I checked to see where my clock was and Fedex Tracking showed it in Canada. I chatted with customer service who told me it was a Fedex issue and my responsibility to call Fedex. I did, they said Kirklands put too many bar codes on the package. That was a week ago, Fedex just called me to say that because Kirklands put the wrong bar codes on the package, it was delivered to someone in Ontario Canada. I go back to Kirklands customer svc and she says, well now it's between you and your bank to get your money back. SERIOUSLY?! Kirklands is now checking to see IF they can refund or replace my order. I believe the problem is they hire 20-somethings who have NO idea the value of treating your customer like they are valued! Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Placed an order on January 1st. Got half of it by the 10th, the other have can't be found and all the customer service person told me was they will contact fed ex and get back with me in a few days. Then a few days went by and sent another email with no response and still no package. Won't be ordering anything again. Especially since their customer service sucks!

This is now the second time I have had issues with on line ordering with Kirkland's and they will never get another order from me again. Back in October I ordered fall stuff that they said was shipped and it wasn't. Well past the date they said I would receive I contacted them again and they said they didn't know why I got a notification that it was shipped cause it was still pending at their end. When asked if I could cancel they said no because it was at their warehouse. The order finally arrived the week before I was ready to take my fall decorations down. So next order I placed nov. 23rd and it again said it has shipped these items were for Christmas. As I had not received again after getting notices that it shipped I reached out to customer service last week and they said it was sitting at their warehouse and they would check with their supervisor and get it straightened out. Yesterday I got a notice they received my return...? Like what.? I called customer service again and said I didn't return anything I am awaiting my shipment still. She says let me look into. Oh I see what happened. It looks like someone else got your items and they returned and we processed the claim. I am like well why didn't they get shipped to me if they were returned? She says let me see if I can get them for you. Then she proceeds to say oh I am sorry none of these items are in stock now so your order has been cancelled. So I placed my order on November 23rd anticipating for Christmas; have been told along they were going to be delivered and as of December 15th now my order was cancelled!, Kirkland's lost a valuable customer today. Horrible experience the whole way around. Bottom line. They do it once, they do it twice they will do it again. For me... never again!

Delays... then Cancelled
December 15, 2020

I ordered an item as a Christmas present on November 8. Website promised by Nov 20. After several emails on why delays, Dec 11 received email it was packed and on next truck to local store. Dec 15 received email order cancelled. No explanation. Called customer service... no explanation. They referred to supervisor... no explanation. Now too late for Christmas. NEVER AGAIN FROM KIRKLAND'S.

Very Rude Sales Person

I ordered something online so I could have a curbside pick up when I called that I was there so they could bring it out the lady by the name of Susie answer the and very ugly saying we have a very long line of customers it's going to be a long while before we can take it out. So I go in there was only 2 people checking out witch she was checking someone out and another girl. When I told the other young lady the person was very rude on the phone Susie started raising her voice at me in front of her customers saying she was not Rude on the phone and rolled her eyes at me.

I bought some decorations for Christmas at the beginning of November, almost 30 days have passed and I never received any email with updates, when I go to check my order it only says PROCESSING.
The ladies at costumer service have been super nice but obviously they can't help much, and the worst thing is that I can't cancel and get my money back until they send my order.
It is so frutrating and more because THERE IS NO ONE WHO WILL HELP YOU!

Kirklands has the WORST customer service ever - I ordered 6 items online - picked up on 12/2/20 and one of the items was damaged - I made them aware of it at checkout and since it was a "green tag item" they would not refund my $ - I showed them the same item (ordered 2) and how the other one was not damaged - still no help - I told them this would cause me to stop being a customer and they did not care at all - I will never spend another penny in this store - Hobby Lobby will be getting my business from now on

Never Again

I've had to contact Kirkland's three times about my order and each time I'm told it's processing to ship and I'll receive a email... what a joke! No package no email and oh I called and instead of continuing to hold for hours requested a call back when I was next in queue lol that call came three days later I'll never do business with them again it's over priced junk anyway I'll go to Old Time Pottery or At Home.

Over a month since we ordered online. After four weeks, they have no idea where our item is. Customer service says call the store. Any other company knows where the product is but not Kirkland. Maybe it's at the store. Never ordering from them again.

DO NOT ORDER ON LINE FROM KIRLKLANDS. They are unreliable and staff is of no help. After placing an order WITH and BY the store personnel that screwed it up. He made the order be shipped to the store instead of what he told me he made it so I would get it next day or so. It now NOV and nothing. I called the store manager and she calld me back said checked on it and said on truck here next day. NOPE, wrong AGAIN. I called store got the staff and said oh checking and nothing coming on the truck. I called the mgr same woman previously and she checked back of store. Nothing, cust service. And this is what she told e THERE IS NOTHIGN i CANT DO ANYTHINGITS UP TO YOU. WHAT THE HELL! Next day I get a email SAYS I am replacing due to damage. WHAT THE HELL! I never GOT the freakin product so how was it damage. Kirland not only DOES NOT DELIVER BUT LIES! Now they say it will be on the truck to rec in store in 3-4 weeks. WHAT! From Sept to Dec. THIS IS THE TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE KIRLAND GIVES. THEY HAVE LOST MY BUSINESS AND I POSTED ON FACEBOOK FOR EVERYONE TO SHARE ON THERE FACEBOOK TO BEWARE OF KIRKLANDS AND DO NOT ORDER. Manager of store says, nothing I can do, its in your hands. What a comment is that. I have been in sales all my life, upper sales mgt and I would of FIRED the employees that say that and give $#*! service. UNACCEPTABLE! BEWARE SHOPPERS! And now I have noticed other reviews WITH the SAME problem. DO NOT BUY FROM KIRKLANDS!

I received an email with my birthday reward code but when I tried to use the code (3 times) it was denied. I tried chatting & they told me it was only for in store when the email clearly stated on line. I emailed & received a response saying it was the MARKETING dept's fault and they'd pass it on then stating my request had been resolved. I had $160 in my cart-which I never purchased. I can't believe they lost my business over a $5 reward. It shows that if I had a larger $$ issue or needed help with something substantial they'd give me the run around. I will NEVER shop there!
