Flight canceled I went to the airport this morning expecting to get on a plane to fly to Mexico when we got there. That is when we were told our flight was canceled instead of somebody emailing and letting us know it was canceled they waited till we arrived to tell us this no one emailed it so we have spent half a day back at our house because they can't get us another plane ticket tomorrow on another airline and rearranging a ride from the airport to the ferry in Mexico
Our flight was cancelled a few hours before takeoff and we were informed it was due to flight mechanical issues and that we should receive compensation for our flight not being rebooked until 2 days later and that we would receive an email within 7 days with compensation. It took a while day to rebook everything for our trip, including 2.5 hours on the phone with jet blue. After speaking to the representative today, (9 days later and still no email) she said we were not getting compensation, but will not give the full reason why. This cancellation not only interrupted our full trip, but incurred late cancellation fees to correct. Since the reason for the cancellation was not a Forced Majeure Event, we should be allowed compensation. It is unacceptable.
Our return flight was delayed twice as well. No reason given. We were pushed to the last row of the plane (since it was rebooked due to the original cancellation and we didn't get seats until we arrived) where the stewards were very loudly banging several times throughout the flight startling me and waking up the screaming infant after she finally fell asleep (several times). This was the worst experience I have ever had and we fly regularly. We will never use Jet Blue again.
Buyer beware! My flight was canceled due to weather on the day of my flight. They couldn't get me on another flight until three days later. I would have missed my business meeting. All Jetblue does is say I am sorry, we can give you a refund. But that refund does not begin to cover the cost of buying a new flight on another airline the same day of travel. Unbelievable that they were uncaring and not helpful at all.

My husband and I were scheduled to travel to New York in March 2020. Due to the pandemic and state shouting down, we couldn't travel. JetBlue gave us an accurate blue account and applied for our money there. My relative that we were planning to visit in New York contracted Covid and passed. It has been two years now; I am not capable of traveling. The customer representative told me that if by 09/30/2022 we didn't use the credit, we would lose it. She said, "JetBlue will keep the money, and you will lose. " She told me she was doing me a favor. I am so frustrated to hear someone telling me they are doing a favor with the money I work hard to earn. I don't know what precisely these big corporates are thinking, taking money from hard-working people. They are acting like I am the one who caused the pandemic to happen! This JetBlue is the worse company!
I purchased a ticket from Jet Blue on August 4. The transaction was completed and the confirmation issues. On August 6 I received an email from the carrier that the transaction was incomplete and they were running out of seats. I contacted Jet Blue and was told that there were no confirmed ticket for the individual traveling. I contacted the credit card Jet Blue and was told that they did not pay for such a ticket. Called back Jet Blue and was told it would have cost me $25.00 for the agent to make the reservation. I didn't want to pay $25.00 to do that, so it got off the phone and searched for other airlines that fly nonstopped to the individual destination. I found a ticket for approximately $15.00 more but I did not have to pay $25.00 for making the reservation. On August 7, Jet Blue card services paid for a ticket, after I spoke with them on Sunday, August 6,23 and they told me that they did not pay for a ticket, which lead me to purchase another ticket from another airline. Jet Blue refuses to refund the money to my Jet Blue card, but returned my points uses for that trip and give me a year to travel on that ticket. Quite unethical. I do have a refundable ticket for traveling in December, and if the money is not refunded to my card, I will cancel that ticket and fly with another airline. VERY UNETHICAL
I fly a lot, and even in third world situations, which I've experienced a lot, the service was better. The flight is so far 5.5 hours late, and we're still not flying. An entire plain is driving back to fill up gas. Yes, yes, they don't have enough gas. In the last 5 hours the excuses were many. For the 1st hour it was "lightning". Then they said: "we'll be honest with you, one crew member is sick and we need to find a new crew member to replace her" then yet a different excuse: "we have technical problems with the aircraft and they're replacing to a new aircraft" (so... "we'll be honest with you means what? It wasn't actually the lightning? Unbelievable). Then: " we're sorry, we need to change the gate".
So now, 1:55 am (flight was scheduled for 8:35 pm), after a 5 hours and 20 minutes delay already, an entire aircraft is having our night and our day tomorrow ruined, because jetblue just can't do what they claim they can do, which is fly an airplane. Will jetblue pay me because I'm losing work tomorrow because of them? Why should I pay for a ticket, and then lose work because of them not doing their job? They should pay all of this aircraft our money back. What am I paying for? Absolutely horrible company. Never again will I fly with them. Neither should you. It's better to change your dates even, anything, just don't give money to jetblue who takes your money to do something they obviously have no clue how to do - get plains that actually work, get enough gas, leave on time, you know, the basics... just a baaaaaad experience. Never again will I fly with them! I'd give them 0 stars if I could.
JetBlue provides first-rate service, particularly for travelers like me with disabilities, on my frequent flights in and out of Boston. It stands in sharp contrast to other US airlines, most of which are abysmal.
JetBlue used to offer great prices and uber-comfortable human- size seats. Now, pricing is in line w/ all the rest (and, we are learning why-collusion), and seats have been changed to the narrow squeeze found in the other "Big Boy" carriers. Buying "extra room" only buy you the ability to drop your tray table without slicing your gut (just like the others), not any normal size width in a seat.
So, sorry JetBlue, you are no longer my first stop when shopping for flights, you are just part of the ordinary (and miserable) pack.
I fly with JetBlue every chance I get! They're consistently on time, allow a free checked bag, have a great staff, comfy seats, and in-flight entertainment.
The one time my flight was delayed for 4 hours, they ended giving everyone a $100 voucher and giving everyone snacks at the terminal. They went above and beyond here, and I really appreciated it.
I travel often in this airline and services before boarding and ending of the trip it is always a pleasure. Attendance staff care all the time of your necessities and if you want more snacks or drinks they are more happy to give you more.
I've been flying JetBlue for years. The flights are rarely delayed, the flight attendants are very friendly, and the tickets are fair price. You also get to watch TV on these monitors in front of you. They also provide a variety of food, including food for those with dietary restrictions (veganism, vegetarianism, etc). JetBlue is a great company and I would recommend flying with JetBlue.
Jet Blue is my first choice in choosing an airline. Why? The seats are extremely comfortable, the flight crew for the most part are courteous as well as the ground crew. I have only had a few problems that have come up, delayed flight for one which is either due to weather or mechanical problems.
Love flying JetBlue and try to fly them whenever possible - just seems like a less stressful, nice experience.
Their site is decent and I enjoy searching on their site.
Wish they had more of a feature to find inexpensive fares. Also wish they had specials for people who are flexible in their destination --- that would be a fun feature.
In general, their site is a pleasant experience!
Jetblue is one of the best airlines! They have fantastic customer service and definitelty are not just about jamming a bunch of people into a flight.
Gotta look for their yearly flight around the globe pass.
First of all the performance of this website is horrible. It takes a long time to navigate from page to page. Eventually I got to where I needed to be (Manage Your Trips) and it let me check in, but would not let me print my boarding passes because it said I needed to update the passenger details. So, fine, another long wait to load that page, then I entered all the required information. But no, it won't save it because of "Invalid Date of Birth". Only one problem... date of birth is not on that page at all. Chatted with customer service who told me that they fixed it for me and entered my date of birth. No, not fixed. Also noticed my ticket purchase price was showing doubled on the page. Response to all this from the customer service agent? "Sorry, sometimes that happens". Get with it JetBlue.
Best US Domestic Airline - It's cheap, the planes are new, the crew is friendly, there's a decent amount of legroom, and they have 37 channels of cable TV. What more could you ask for? I love Jet Blue.
We were on flight 503 today 3/5/23 and it was simply amazing, yes it was delays so what I ride the nyc subways. From the captain to the 2 men, 2 women flight attendants thank you so much for a pleasant flight. Jet Blue the whole experience was great.
This is my favorite airline. The seats are comfortable and I absolutely love the blue chips! The 5 stars are for the blue chips. Con: it got a little more expensive and they don't really include any baggage in the bare fare any longer.
I travel through JetBlue almost everywhere I go, it is the best airline to go through. I have also tried their getaway packages, great options available! I do wish they had more destinations but still a great airline.
Once they were great, then they were fantastic, then they were bad, now they are average. The only redeeming quality that they have is great seats. Their awards program is the pits. I no longer bother with it.
Delays? Part of their "service". They like to keep you waiting. Thus they hope to make themselves more desirable.
Answer: Very difficult, I took me almost a month of frustration, hang ups and long waiting before I was able to speak to someone.
