I ordered merchandise on Aril 25th, it should have been delivered Aril 30th. It was not and now I can't reach anyone at this company. Are they really legitimate.my credit card has already been charged. I need to hear from they to straighten this out.
I have two Dooney and Bourke bags. 1 is black pebble grain and the 2nd is baby blue pebble grain. I bought the second one from IloveDooney and have had no issues with my bag. Just normal wear.
Their bags are wonderful... when you get them. But when you don't or if you have a problem - there is no service. My bag was lost in transit - two weeks spent with a CS person thru email telling me to wait until the investigation is complete when UPS said that it was undeliverable; then I called daily and the CS reps on the phone have no ability to solve issues and there are no supervisors to speak with. It is a month; I have no refund; no bag and now that the bag is back in stock (that is yet another part of the story) - they won't send to me unless I order online; pay the higher price despite the fact that they still have my money from the first order. Dispicable business practices. And an unfair work enironment for their CS team who apparently have no skills/resources to solve problems.

There was no immediate notification that this item was out of stock and my credit card was charged for the purchase amount.
On February 5, I followed up with ILoveDooney and initiated an inquiry. I received an acknowledgment and was informed that there would be a follow up email to me within 48 hours.
After a non-response, I followed up on February 8. On February 16, I received a notification that my order had been processed but the product was on back order. I immediately asked for an estimated ship date. I received no response until March 16, at which time I was informed that my order had been cancelled, and that my account would be credited within 5 to 10 business days.
Not acceptable.
Bag was stolen/lost in transit. I used a MC Gift Card to purchase the bag, I no longer had the gift card and they told me the only way they could refund me was to credit the gift card. I kept explaining to them I longer had it because it was used up and I asked if they could give me a store credit or mail me another bag at the same price. All they did was apologize and said they couldn't so I'm out my money and the bag.
I ordered a handbag, upon receiving notice of purchase I realized I ordered the wrong bag and color. I phoned customer service to cancel the order within 2 hours of ordering and they informed me that the item couldn't be cancelled at this time because it was being processed. I cannot understand if the order is still in the processing stage why it couldn't be cancelled and the agent explain because it's being processed. I could understand if the item has been shipped, but not processing why this order couldn't be canceled. Poor policy and I will never order from this site again. I have ordered from Dooney and Bourke website and have never encountered any problems.
Unfortunately there is not a negative rating! My issue does not deal with the overall quality of Dooney & Bourke merchandise. My great frustration comes from the fact that after ordering my new Dooney & Bourke Lexington Shopper from I Love Dooney on Dec. 29th, and paying extra for faster delivery, I still have not received my order on Jan. 26th. When I first communicated with customer service regarding my missing order I was told that the package had been delivered on Jan. 3rd, which it had not. Customer service informed me that they would investigate the issue and that would probably take 14 to 15 days. Now, 16 days into their "investigation" they still have no conclusion. They have my money and I have NOTHING! I have asked repeatedly to speak with a supervisor. I have given my contact information repeatedly. NO SUPERVISOR has returned my call. If there was a negative rating system I would give them 5 negative stars!
I do think the bag is authentic, however it came damaged and customer service wouldn't have anything to do with it. They said send it back in the same packaging. Well hello, I had to remove the packaging to inspect the bag. They wouldn't even offer an exchange! They said I would have to reorder it if I wanted a replacement. I asked them if their products are factory seconds or floor models (since it came so scratched and creased), and they didn't respond to it. They also didn't respond when I asked if I got a replacement that it would come free of defects. I tried to write a review of the bag I received on their website, but they wouldn't publish it because it wasn't a glowing 5 star review. What a joke. I will never buy from them again.
Don't buy from here what ever you do. The customer service is terrible and the bags are cheap fakes. They should not be allowed to sell these items
I ordered a crossbody and it arrived damaged. Used the prepaid label THEY emailed me and sent the purse back within the hour it arrived. Weeks later and they havent issued me a refund. So they want to charge me for a damaged purse that I sent back? This company is horrible, first and last time ever ordering from them. Emails back and forth and they are trying to claim they didnt get back the purse. I used the label THEY sent me and tracked it back to them arrived. DISGUSTING!
I've ordered a few bags from them over the last 5 years, one tote bag was sent to me all molded up and smelly, I had to send it back. The other bags, no issue but it seems to me that if you order more than one at a time, the rest of order is cancelled. My last two orders had 3 items in each order and they cancelled two from each order. This is nerve wracking as I try to match up bag, wallet, wristlet set. I'm kinda done with them, if they don't have the product, dont put it online to promote it and each time I had to email them to get my credit for the cancelled items. If you cancel items, give the immediate credit. I'm super disappointed that my orders keep being cancelled with no explanation and no credit. Not worth the hassel and they could care less it seems.
I attempted to purchase a pocketbook that was going to be a gift. I ordered in plenty of time and they immediately took the payment. I never received an e-mail confirmation and never received the product. After calling and getting a false story about the item would be ready to ship on 1/28, I waited a week and still no product. I just happened to look at my credit card and two days after telling me it would be ready to ship, they refunded the payment with no communication, no notice as to why, just cancelled. I called to find out what happened and the rep claimed that they wait to see if they would get the product, but THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT order from this company. They are supposed to be a "sister" company to Dooney & Bourke, but I beg to differ. Dooney & Bourke needs to sever the relationship as they hurt their name! Lesson learned for me, no more I Love Dooney orders for me!
I thought I'd try the ilovedooney site for a Christmas present. The bag I purchased was on sale for $90 and I ordered it in time to arrive a week before Christmas. When it arrived, it was another person's order in a box with my shipping label on it. The bag I received was half the cost of the one I purchased. The customer service people were nice but not very knowledgeable. The company acts like it's your fault and makes you return the wrong bag before they will do anything about the one you purchased. With me having to go to FedEx a few days before Christmas, there was no time to send my correct order and I was told I wouldn't receive it on time for Christmas. DON'T USE THEM. GO TO THE REAL DEAL. I never got to see my bag so I don't know if they are genuine or not.
Ordered on April 1st, on April 4th I noticed my order said "Backordered", I contacted their customer support and they said that was an error my order was on the way, they had provided a deliver date of April 6th when I ordered the product. I asked customer service again to confirm it would be here on April 6th and they again ignored. Got tracking today on April 5th and it wont' be here until the 10th. Some 2 day shipping, it took 8 business days. Turns out they sat on it for 4 days and then even when they found it, they didn't try to make it right by sending it quicker. STAY AWAY, they could careless about you.
Was told that you don't need to put the promo code in to receive the discount and then later was told that I had to put code in to get the 30% off (have email chain to prove it). Asked them to refund me the difference since they lied to me - won't do it and won't cancel the order - just get some blanket email back how they are sorry for any inconvenience - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE -- what company can't refund you the discount -- JUST TRYING TO GRAB YOUR MONEY AND THEN THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AFTER THAT? Called credit card company to tell them that this purchase is fraud because of their selling practices.
I ordered the yellow nylon bag. It is lovely and the quality consistent with my other Dooney bags that I purchased retail. Fast ship and great price. I am very happy with this purchase.
This place is beyond sketchy, I've read several other reviews. Sadly I'm not alone. This business has the worst customer service I've ever seen and you just better hope your order doesn't get lost in transit because not only will you never get your purchase you will also pay the shipping cost for an item you never got. I don't have enough room here to describe the numerous issues I've had with this business but all they could offer for each of these issues is "unfortunately we can't" zero customer service, zero common sense, lack basic customer service principles. I'll never give these idiots 1 more penny and unless you don't mind the risk, you probably shouldn't either. Their motto CUSTOMERS ALWAYS WRONG. I ordered a handbag on the 20th of Dec gave very detailed instructions on where to place package with I Love Dooney and I have informed delivery with USPS, FedEx and UPS. So all the above was informed about where to leave package at rear door on 2nd floor porch. No it was left in front at other apartment and no purse and it was 298.00 and I LOVE DOONEY is acting like its my fault. When i ordered online and i saved information and its states where to leave my stuff. Its been 3 weeks no purse and no money and no word. I bought handbag from The Dooney site and there was no problem, but this outlet online store will never shop here ever again. Kimberly Gilmore
Before i ordered an item from ilovedooney i ofcourse google it first and read the reviews, despite of some people's bad comment i continue with my order to try it for myself. I ordered a tan crossbody camera and it came faster than expected, packanged so well and the product came perfect, the price is so affordable. I loooove dooney and i started to collect since 2010.
I highly recommend i lovedooney to my friends and family.
Ilovedooney is the defects, irregulars, or slightly damaged bags. These are small and your satisfaction will really depend on how picky you are. I give them only a two star because this is not disclosed when you order and it really should be. Also, their customer service is not great. Right now I am debating if I can live with the minor imperfections of my recent order. Sadly, one of the imperfections looks like it may contribute to a bigger problem down the line. There is a scratch in the leather which may continue to get worse. So my advice is weigh out the cost savings and if you can live with imperfections. Other than that, I did receive confirmation of my order, I received tracking info, and it was delivered on time. My dealings with customer service regarding the minor flaws landed on deaf ears. They didn't really care what the issue was or that a simple part replacement would fix it. They just said send the whole bag back. It's all or nothing. To be fair, they did say they'd refund it. This is just a very straight forward, no ifs, ands or buts about it, place. It's become my understanding that they know they're dealing with imperfections and they're just not going to argue or go to any extent to make things right. You like it, great, you don't, send it back. In actuality, there's nothing wrong with this practice, but they should be straightforward up front in that you are receiving the merchandise with slight defects.

Answer: Not all the prices are that much lower. I love Dooney is the sister company. They come with registration papers and the label on the inside is the same as the label in the bag i ordered directly from the Dooney and Bourke company. I order from I Love Dooney and the Dooney and Bourke website.
Answer: My invoice also only shows the price of the bag, but the receipt on line shows the amount of sales tax and those numbers matched what I was charged. It may have something to do with which state it was shipped from or to.
Answer: They have no customer service. If you have an issue, email them and they may get back, or they may not! Very few have been able to talk to them. As for the bags, I think they are real but the dye process is off(people write in about the colors being way off) or the stitching is a little off, I got a bag that wasnt bad, but on this order they didnt honor their own sale and overcharged me by almost $200. And wont do a damn thing about it. Cancelled the second I placed it and they would not cancel.
