On the Thursday before Labor Day 2016, I received an offer for 30% off. I placed an order for $400.00 and was never prompted for the discount code. I called the service number immediately and was told they could not honor the code because my order was already being processed. Really? Within minutes. But the service gent told me he would look into it. One week later I called and requested an update, still no action. I asked for a supervisor, who told me, nothing could be done once an order is placed. I failed to mention, that on day one I told the service dept, to cancel my order if they could not honor the 30% off. This company is NOT user friendly. I would highly recommend to not use it and furthermore boycott Dooney and Bourke if this is how they treat customers.
I have ordered several bags I have got all of them within a week AND all in perfect condition! They are definitely authentic! I have never had any problems with this company!

THEN I RECEIVED THE THE BAG YOU TELL ME THERE'S A $10.00 CHARGE TO RETURN WHICH WAS NEVER STATED ANYWHERE WHILE SHOPPING OR ORDERING, WHICH IS A SCAM THAT YOU KNOW YOU ARE RUNNING BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE STATED THAT EARLIER ON NOT UNTIL CUSTOMER NEEDS TO RETURN MERCHANDISE. THEN YOU MAKE IT HARD FOR CUSTOMERS TO RETURN BY NOT SENDING QR CODES TO THEM. BY WRITING THIS REVIEW I HOPE I CAN PREVENT OTHER SHOPPERS FROM BUYING FROM I LOVE DOONEY.
I got one purse from this site and I thought, "Huh, that plate looks funny." It was a little damaged, but I was going away and kept it anyway. Then I ordered another and saw that the stitching is off. OK- this site sells the irregular merchandise. If you send it back, you must pay shipping. Forget it- I will never buy from them again.
I placed an order and used a 10% coupon code which was "defective". I called customer service to inquire about it and they said there is NOTHING they can do. They told me I cannot cancel my order, I cannot be given the 10% off and all they could do is give me a future 10% off on another order. Totally unacceptable. This is the worst trap ever and now I am stuck with the money I paid them and no customer service or anything they can do! Shame on them for using a good name to do terrible business! Don't buy from them!
I ordered a bag in July 2018 and received it a few days later. The shipping was fast, however, the bag came without the shoulder strap as it should. The customer service replied to my email regarding the missing shoulder strap the day after I contacted them. I am happy with their response speed but not necessarily the suggested solution. I was suggested to return the bag, but the return shipping cost would be on me. I had a hard time understanding the recommended resolution to the situation as its a seller's mistake. They also mentioned they do not have straps to send.
What's even worse is I tried to leave a review on their website however they moderate it and informed me it will not be posted.
I was eager to get this and my purse so I paid for premium shipping, which was only $10. I placed my order on 12/2 and had both my purse and wallet on 12/5. I also signed up for the rewards program before ordering and was surprised that just because I signed up and my birthday was next week I was able to get a discount that more than covered the premium shipping. I will definitely order from ILoveDooney.com again next time I want a Dooney item. I saved almost $100 over the regular website SALE purchase of the same items. I saw their rating on this site and was worried I made a mistake by ordering from them. But now I am so happy I did. It was a great purchase, I got both the purse I wanted and the matching wallet for well under the retail price of either item.
If I could give it a 0 I would. This is highway robbery. The bags are fake and there is no customer service to talk to. I should've known better when the "sale" and "promo" left them at $20 each. I let them have it, but each time I know of someone about to purchase I tell them.
I am looking at starting a competitor company to this company after the horrible customer service, people deserve better. Won't take much to be better! They treat people with such disrespect! Just proving a point!
Completed an order, they withdrew payment, eventhough they said it was declined. I was charged, contacted customer service and was never issued a credit for the purchase!
I have purchased Dooney & Bourke handbags, etc., from retailers, Dooney.com and I Love Dooney. I don't see any difference in anything. My packaging has always been good, all bags are wrapped in plastic and have the same registration cards, etc. The only difference is price and that is amazing! I don't know what the problem could be with other reviewers. I have never had any issues. You even accrue the same loyalty points and with the Dooney & Bourke site. I would never have been able to have the collection I have now without their pricing. To me its "what's not to love?"
I could not believe that they did not have the address on the label and sent it out, only to have it returned! I do not recommend this company to anyone. Ilovedooney is the sister company to Dooney & Burke. You will be better off ordering from them instead.
The customer service is horrible. You can NOT get any customer support. They just give you the run around... no resolution. Managers do not return call after several attempts. If you return/exchange item (s) they try and swindle you out of a fee to do. They are the WORST!
I used a promo code and got an awesome price. Only problem they cancelled the order and stated not in stock. But I looked the next day and guess what? In stock. I don't think they liked my sale price and won't fill the order. Super shady. Keep my money 2 weeks and never fulfilled the order. I will never purchase a dooney and Burke purse EVER!
I love my Dooneys but will not order from ilovedooney! I ordered 2 to give to my daughters, I didn't see where to enter my promo code. I immediately emailed their Cust serv. They emailed me stating pretty much to bad! It was for $20 credit. I called and was told I have to return and pay fees (almost the full $20) and reorder. Makes no sense... I wrote a review on their site and they emailed me stating my review did not meet their criteria so it was not getting published.!? They should work on their Cust service as much as they work on reading and deleting negative reviews. These are not $20 purses, they should be willing to work with us the clients that want to buy their purses. I have a couple but I bought at Macy's. A friend told me abt this site so I tried it but NEVER AGAIN!
They sent me the wrong bag with the packing slip and order form for another woman in another state. MIstakes happen and while it was annoying I had no idea or expectations that I would be treated as horribly as I was when I called. After being on hold forever, I finally reached a representative who told me that my bag would not be shipped to me until I sent the wrong one back. Seriously! They are holding my bag hostage until I go to the trouble of sending the incorrect bag back. I had no intention of keeping the bag. I want my bag, not someone else's and they refuse to make their mistake right and send me the bag I ordered and paid for. My requests both by phone and email to speak to a supervisor have been met with empty promises. I am still waiting to hear from a supervisor and for my bag even though there is a tracking number showing that the incorrect bag is on it's way back to them. Disgusting!. This is it for me regarding D & B!
I had insomnia and was on computer at 4am. Decided to order a bag that was the deal of the month (with some stupid promo code) and it said 30% off with yet another promo code. Deal was too good to be true, so I put two in my bag and began looking for a spot to put promo code and i accidentally hit place order! I immediately emailed cust serv and they emailed back that it had shipped, Right, at 4 am on Saturday they had people packing bags. What a crock, Guess they think we are stupid.
This is the second time I've ordered from i love dooney, and both times its taken a month to receive my order. It wasn't even around the holidays. They kept saying they're experiencing delays. This is unacceptable. Will never order from them again. Two times of this run around is enough.
I ordered and was promised delivery by 12/22. When it didn't arrive I was told they could never promise delivery. The package arrived 1/8 and was missing 1 item. After numerous emails and calls - they said they would resolve this and refund the money. I still do not have the item or the money. I have filed a complaint but have not heard back yet. Very frustrating experience.

The absolute worse experience ever. Never received my order. Call customer service couldn't get an explanation from them. Calling them on a weekly basis about this I finally got a refund after a month and 5 days. Never received an follow up email or a email stating they was going to refund my money.
I will not purchase anything from them ever again.

Answer: Not all the prices are that much lower. I love Dooney is the sister company. They come with registration papers and the label on the inside is the same as the label in the bag i ordered directly from the Dooney and Bourke company. I order from I Love Dooney and the Dooney and Bourke website.
Answer: My invoice also only shows the price of the bag, but the receipt on line shows the amount of sales tax and those numbers matched what I was charged. It may have something to do with which state it was shipped from or to.
Answer: They have no customer service. If you have an issue, email them and they may get back, or they may not! Very few have been able to talk to them. As for the bags, I think they are real but the dye process is off(people write in about the colors being way off) or the stitching is a little off, I got a bag that wasnt bad, but on this order they didnt honor their own sale and overcharged me by almost $200. And wont do a damn thing about it. Cancelled the second I placed it and they would not cancel.
