I have been getting my Parkinsons medication from centerwell pharmacy I am very pleased with most of my changes trying to find what works for me. My prescription was doubled to try and control my symptoms. I am having alot of nausea so my Dr sent a medication to help me get through the change. It was sent to them on the 27th of March. I was notified on the 30th that they were waiting for my Dr to get back to them and I call my Dr office. That script was canceled and 2 new ones showed up on was filing on the 1st and the other on 2nd. Now the one on the 2nd was canceled. So I am anxiously waiting for the one from the 1st. They should look at my script and see why I need it and not take a day for each step. Use a phone once in awhile. Start treating your patients as people not a computer that tells you what you need to do. Start caring.
This company switches manufacturers of medications without notice to customers until you have paid and received a refill without any opportunity or advance notice to cancel the refill order. They will not refund or replace a defective Rx medication. BEWARE. Take your business elsewhere! They switched my Tamsulosin 0.4MG Cap from Vydus Mfg to Aurobindo Pharma which is a larger diameter and longer capsule that was ineffective for my condition. I didn't notice it at first but now 2 months into the switched manufacturers Rx, my condition has deteriorated drastically. I requested but got absolutely no help from Humana Rx Mail. Take your business elsewhere!
Their website is lackluster and intentionally disorganized. You will speak to 2 or 3 different reps and be told 2 to 3 different versions. I've been waiting 2 weeks for my rxs and they still aren't on their way. I regret signing up with them.
I've had issues with humana merging my twin sisters personal information with my account. It's taking me 3 months to get everything corrected. I couldn't use my insurance the entire 3 months! Already, I've had my prescriptions canceled without an explanation. If I hadn't filed a complaint with Medicare, I would still not be able to use my insurance. Once Medicare sent the complaint to humana, I received better treatment. Everyone please complain to Medicare. Humana needs to have the crap sued out of them!
I was hoping this mail order pharmacy would be better than what I had before, Express scripts, It ended up being worse than I anticipated. I had to make way too many calls and when I went online to see my activity it was hard to understand as they would put my meds in, then said they were processing, then cancel my order tntc times making me wonder what was their problem. I realized I wasn't going to get my meds on time ever so I canceled my account 3-times! I also noticed their cost was a lot higher than my pharmacy. They sent me a email asking for a payment plan I never answered them as I was done w/ using them. All of a sudden they sent out one of my meds anyway so I called them again and told them I had canceled my account which they never canceled and sent out another one of my meds which I asked that they drop that rx from my list as they wanted over 130-dollars and I only pay 52-dollars at my pharmacy! I would advised beware they would rather argue w/ you then get it right...
It is nearly impossible to get to the correct agent in one call. One can't get anyone who knows what the medications are and in my case I received a vial of Plavix with different pills in its via. Some were the usual pink, round pills and others were elongated white ones. I don't know what those are. They look like Lipitor.
I want to receive a new bottle of only Plavix with the knows round, pink pills.

Always a problem/issue with phone people. I would definitely suggest you find another resource. Really horrible customer service … not only "horrible" but down-right dangerous with your health.
I've been using Humana Pharmacy for several years but in the past six to nine months something has happened there's some Missing Link at HUMANA regarding CONTACT INFO they say that they don't have the information to get in touch with you when you just received a text from them that morning and everything online has not changed for over 5 years. I do love Humana but I wish they would get primary contact info links worked out - it's a little frustrating to try to deal with them lately and it takes many phone calls back and forth and calls to your doctor to get an order on the way - it shouldn't happen, I AM TRYING TO BE PATIENT WITH WORK FORCE PROBLEMS WE HAVE NOW!
Both of my parents (78 & 81 year olds) placed their OTC orders online through Humana Pharmacy. They both ordered what was labeled as "medium briefs". The product turned out to be diapers, not briefs nor pull-ups. The diapers were not the type of product that either one could put on independently. The diapers would require assistance in holding the front of the diaper in place while attaching the back. So, in order to get help with using the bathroom at night, they would have to wake someone else to aid them. My mom has cognitive issues and this was not something that she could navigate. Also, these so-called "briefs" were bulky and uncomfortable, unlike briefs or pull-ups. I called Humana Pharmacy to explain the mix-up and asked for instructions on how to return. The representative advised since the product received was the product number order, they would not make an exchange. My parents are on a fixed income and cannot afford the $60.00 lost. Even after explaining this debacle to a supervisor, no allowance could be made for my parents' age needs nor the false naming of the product. Therefore, online ordering is not a friendly system for the elderly. An alternative would be in-store credits.
Humana's 2-factor Authentication is an exercise in frustration. Apparently its Geek Squad isn't bright enough to discriminate between the need for 2-factor Authentication and the need for a new password after the website secretly has expired your old one. So here is the dance you are forced to perform: 1. You sign with your user name and existing password. 2. Human sends a six-digit code. 3. You enter the code. 4. Humana rejects the code. 5. You repeat steps 2-4 at least six times. 6. Somewhere in Humana's bowels a server finally alerts the system that it secretly expired your existing password sometime ago. 7. A message appears on the screen requesting a new 8-14 digit alphanumeric password. 8. You create a new password. 9. The system goes catatonic. 10. You eventually read the fine print and discover the Humana Password Cretins didn't really mean "alphanumeric"; they meant only a few alpha symbols that they themselves have personally selected. 11. You revise your password in conformance with their abbreviated alphanumeric list. 12. You receive a notification that your password has been changed together with another six digit authentication number. 13. The website has closed so you reopen it. 14. You enter your user name, new alphanumeric password and the new authentication code. 15. WALAH! You are in. This process took me 34 minutes. Inexcusable. Some butts really need kicking. Oh, and none of my medications were eligible for reorder until April 30, three days from now. I went through all this for nothing.
I signed up for Humana through a company called Benefit Connections. Per the information I thought I would be saving some money. It was shown that after the $495 co-pay my tier 3 prescriptions would be $47 each. After signing up and ordering my first prescription (Basaglar) the prescription was over $ 600.00. I called Humana and was told that the information I had was from last year. As far as I'm concerned its a total SCAM. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE
Have had various issues with both mine and my Husband getting our RX's correct and even getting them at all. I take Insulin and my Physician sent them a Script to fill this I waited a while and was running low called to find out about this and was told my Doctor Cancelled the order supposedly they were going to Rush it long story short I was out for 4 days and my Doctor had not cancelled. Doctor sent a script for my Husband to them and (Jose from Centerwell) instead of filling it there forwarded to Kroger's to fill was never notified and after several times trying to find out where it was my Doctors Office called qnd they found out what happened my husband ran out before resolved. These are only two things that have happened I several more. I thinking of just having Kroger fill all my Scripts even though it will cost more but I will know where they are. Nancy Cooper
So, as the title says, I never received a medication order even though it showed delivered. I started to call on the order 9 days after the order was placed. When I finally got through to someone with broken English I was told I have to wait one more day for the 10 day period to be up. So I called back after 12 days and the nightmare began. I was on the phone with 4 different call center people who kept transferring me to a pharmacy tech and then was disconnected after waiting on hold for 15 to 20 min. So I had to start the process all over. This happened 3 times. So, now I am holding again for someone in the pharmacy. They won't ship the order or cancel it until I speak to someone in the pharmacy. So, I am stuck. The funny thing is that I can order the medication I need locally and use a GoodRx coupon to get the medication for less than my Humana pharmacy charge. Take a guess what I will do the next time I need medication? That's right, go through GoodRx and by pass the Humana nightmare.
Many prescriptions my doctor orders must have a prior authorization and this has taken many days of my doc's time. I will definitely change companies when time.
Website often unavailable
App very difficult to use
Was just on-hold for 100 minutes, despite being told we'd be on-hold for 30 seconds
Net/net -- a rating of 1 is kind
My mom's glaucoma eye drops STILL haven't arrived and they are a month late! We paid for them and they said they were sent out, but still no drops! And their automated system STINKS. Very difficult to get to a HUMAN BEING instead of a recording.
We've been a member for 5 years; the first 3 years, were excellent! BUT last year (2020) and this, Humana's customer service has gone from about an 8/9 to 0/1. In 2020, I couldn't access my account information and had to consistently call Humana to fix up my account every 3 months; their customer reps have truly gone down the tube; at least HALF of them can't speak clearly in English. Today, the first person who "assisted me" could barely be comprehended. I finally got disgusted and TOLD the person I wanted someone who SPOKE CLEAR ENGLISH and UNDERSTOOD my questions! When it was all said and done today (03/09/21), my account information AGAIN wasn't available for me to review and I told the rep this has been going on since day one of last year. When it comes to renewal time this year, I'm switching. I've had it with these clowns!
It's a constant problem to renew your prescriptions. They say the Dr.'s don't send in the script even though you see them do it in the office. The other issue is they don't cover many medicines
I've tried three times to get medication from these folks and three times they tell me they will send it.
Doesn't happen.
How much worse can they be?
This has been the most frustrating experience of any medical type of provider I've ever had. My first prescription orders required multiple calls to Humana and the doctor just to get my prescriptions filled. I am on two platelet inhibitors as prescribed by my doctor but Humana was reluctant to fill both as they saw it as redundant prescribing. As if they know more than my doctor! Because of the multiple emails and web site communications, I was told that it was the doctors' fault on the hold-up. My doctor responder promptly, multiple times. Humana finally processed the order but not before I ran out of my meds, so I had to get a local refill, bothering my doctor again. In addition to this, Humana finally caught up with all the responses from my doctor and generated triplicate orders which I finally got canceled. In the meantime, I received snail mail and phone calls that gave me conflicting information about the above-mentioned mess. Humana customer service assured me on the refill all would go much smoother now that the prescriptions have been established. This was not my experience on my refill attempt. Once again Humana is back to calling my doctor to make sure I needed both meds and the issue of cost. One of my meds showed a 4.9% price increase but Humana wanted to charge a 300% increase! I cancelled my refills. I can get a better deal with Good RX or Singlecare with no monthly fee. Humana Pharmacy is a rip off.
Answer: Terrible. Waited over 2 hours and 4 calls to get an issue resolved on a lost shipment. Your call center is terrible. I would not recommend anyone to your company.
Answer: No, but I'm not receiving medications I did order!
Answer: The price. Will definitely pay more for another company You get what you pay for!
