Very disappointed on their programming. It doesn't list all the episodes of my favorite show it skips. One minute you watch episode 4 and it skips to 23 very inconsistent. Very frustrated thank goodness I have not subscribe to it my friend told me to try it first since she already has it. I am glad I haven't cause I don't like it... it just made me more mad cause I missed a whole lot of episodes.
Anyone out there don't waste your money on it Nexflix is better even though their behind from keeping it updated.
Why do I need to sit with my remote and adjust the volume down every time an ad comes on, then raise it when my show returns so I can hear it? Its friggen annoying! And if I dont get to it quick enough, I wake everyone up in the house. Forget watching anything late at night...
I love Hulu Plus. It has tons of options for entertainment and it's fantastic. The problem I have is that it will not stop buffering. I would get halfway through an episode and it will start to buffer every 10 seconds. I've tried rewinding it a bit, pausing it and just simply waiting and nothing helps. If I had known i would be spending an hour watching a 24 minute episode, I wouldn't have spent money on Hulu and quite honestly just watched a sped up version on YouTube. Very upset.
At least 6 days a month since I got this service a year ago, live tv locks up, fails, buffers constantly. Went up to 48.99. Customer service non-existent. All other services through Firestick work fine. Will be cancelling soon. No, it is NOT better than nothing. Pluto is free on Firestick and I will get a broadcast antenna and be done.
First, Hulu stopped accepting my password. It took many attempts over several days to reset password. Second, they don't provide a means to cancel subscription. It's all circular runarounds. Impossible to contact Hulu. Enormous waste of time. In the end, I had to cancel my credit card. Hateful, fraudulent company.
Tech support is a joke! Nothing but a bunch of cyber thieves.you call for assistance, they say you need to download anydesk app to verify your location then they take over your system and start making charges on your account through your other apps.Been reported and they're under investigation.trust nobody!
I have been contacting HULU for 5 months to cancel there no good service; they "HULU" will not cancel and quit charging my credit card. Even disputed the charges with the card service and the denied 2 months of charges. But sure as day they continue to charge my card
Just sent them a final request and damn well will contact the attorney general and have them take over from this point. My advice don't do as I did because you will regret the choice and be ripped off for a long time.
Horrible customer service, reps unresponsive to customer concerns regarding this abomination of a "new" unusable interface. Hopefully, more and more people will cancel the service every day until the numbskulls at Hulu get the message, only it will be too late for them by then. Idiots.
Constant skipping, sound goes but pic freezes... everyday. Live TV or recordings all skip and freeze, crappy service. I talked to customer service they admitted they have lots of problems. Once you get past them trying to blame your device or internet spped they admit it sux. I got some free months of service but its almost not even worth free it sux so bad.
There are so many new streaming video sites, like IPTV and about 10 others that cost next to nothing and offer a much-improved viewing experience. The loud commercials are gone and the $80. A month payment Do research and change
As I sit here during the holiday season searching for Christmas shows that we're once a routine part of free television programming, I am disappointed to find that none are available as a part of regular streaming. That Hulu would charge for these holiday programs is offensive. I have to pay or upgrade in order for my children to watch holiday cartoons.
The audacity for Hulu to show Friday the 13th part 1-12 at Christmas, but force me to pay to see them during Halloween is ridiculous! Understand that your customers will bail on you as quickly as they bailed on cable. Terribly disappointed and looking for other options.
I like being able to watch the shows I want to Watch without having to pay for cable or satellite. However, as a paying customer of Hulu I have experienced several problems. Sometimes when I watch Hulu and it comes back from commercial it will have the audio but no video. Additionally, sometimes it won't play the episode for a very long, time there's just a ridiculous loading period in which I am worried that it won't work at all. These problems happen often enough that I felt the need to write a review about it. I considered that it might just be my Internet that is the problem, but I also have Netflix and I do not experience the same problems with that. I sincerely hope that these bugs can be fixed.
Normal cable doesn't cost much more and with Dvr you have the option to fast forward through ads of shows you've recorded. Hulu is too greedy for that and even if you for example
Start a show over or even rewind it a bit you HAVE to watch the ads over again. Pissed me off so much it's not worth it to me.
Hulu is pretty good. They would be better if they could cut down on the commercialism. Especially for a paying customer. I like the ability to watch a program I have missed 24 hours later. That is a brilliant idea. However, the downside are the commercials.
I pay for 11.99 plan that says "NO COMMERCIALS" yet they still play 1 ad before and after each movie or episode. When I call they say with the 7.99 plan you see 5 to 7 commercials. My argument is I'm not paying for a limited commercial plan. My plan says NO commercials that means zero not 1 or 2. They won't do anything about it cause they are in a contract with those networks. But they shouldnt label their plans limited and no commercials when in fact all plans have commercials, just each plan differs on how many commercials you see. Also dont get their live plan, it constantly goes out and doesn't work we dropped it the same day we added it.
Purchased Hulu live to avoid getting cable. I watch maybe 4 channels on live and some movies here and there. Just noticed, one of my live channels is now only available as an "add on". An extra $8 a month on top of the $74.99 I already pay. Nah. I will go with Philo for a 3rd if the price. Sorry Hulu. I paid your fees for 3 years now. No longer.
Literally the worst movie site I have EVER experienced. First off, there are WAY TOO MANY commercials. The commercials last from anywhere between 3-5 minutes (might as well watch actual TV). Second, half the shows fail at streaming and consistently pause or disconnect in the middle. Third, buying HuluPlus is the biggest scam. It has no benefits over the free version other than access to a FEW more shows. For the same price you pay for Netflix or Amazon, HuluPlus still streams commercials and has access to barely anything. Additionally, there's no point in buying it if you plan to stream from a smart device because the technology doesn't even work on them. Stay away from this site. You are better off using Netflix, Amazon, or any other website.
I am now going to every site I can to leave bad reviews about HULU. I hate them with a burning vengeance. They are on of those sites that purposefully makes their service hard to cancel so you accidentally stay signed up with them charging even when you thought you canceled! I tried the site for the free trial, realized they were basically sub par netflix and then attempted to cancel. Talked to their customer service people and they were rude as hell about the whole thing! I am very angry!
We just paid to get hulu live and the short of it is, it doesn't work. At all. I even called hulu today to figure out how to get to the live tv and was told that they are having issues with it and there is no estimated time it will be fixed. Im not sure what we paid $40. When I asked if it would be fixed for the Olympics tomorrow, the customer service women said she had no idea. So we will be canceling that subscription and looking for another option ASAP. Sorry, hulu. But don't offer a service if you cannot actually give that service.
This site is fantastic. It has just about every popular tv show out there and is great for when you miss your show or forgot to tivo it. The only thing that has been disappointing, is that when i was abroad i couldn't use it. Apparently you have to be in the united states to us it right now, i think though that there's an option that you can say where you are that you're trying to access it and maybe they will try to expand into those countries as they get more hits from them... keep your fingers crossed!
Answer: Not worth it since they updated their interface into an unusable mess. Customer service is awful, stay far away.
Answer: Happened to me. Stay away from hulu. My systems is high speed and works great with YouTube 4k and Netflix 4K HDR. Hulu obviously is bandwidth limited which might work for customers who watch old movies but their technology is not good for 1080P and modern technology.
Answer: It's hulu yet clearing the cashe every time before starting Hulu is substandard there overloaded
Answer: Yes & with Hulu Live you get all of the local channels like CBS, NBC, Fox & ABC. The shows are clearer too because of the way they come in from their On Demand libraries. I love Hulu Live & was so tired of Dish for a few reasons. You should just try it. You get the first seven days free & can cancel anytime. No contracts, equipment or bullshit. All you need is a good strong internet signal which most of us have today. My monthly bill was $100 with Dish. My new Hulu Live bill is $80, but that includes no commercials & an extended cloud DVR where you can fast forward through commercials on recorded shows. You also get access to their whole Hulu library.
Hulu has a rating of 1.7 stars from 1,179 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Hulu most frequently mention customer service, credit card and free trial. Hulu ranks 202nd among Streaming Movies sites.
