Garbage and full of crap

I own a tax business and purchased a Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M283fwd printer on 12/30/2021. I received it at my doorstep 1/6/2021. I used the printer from January 2021-April 2021. Now that tax season has started up the printer doesn't work. The power button comes on but the screen is black. I know I'm not the smartest person in the world but 1/6/2021-1/4/2022 is not one year. They will not replace my printer so I spent $490 on some BULL CRAP. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRINTER BECAUSE IT IS STRAIGHT GARBAGE

Stay away from HP laptops
September 4, 2021

Stay away from HP laptops. After buying a laptop (ENVY x360) and it breaking within 6 months of use due to a fault with the laptop it has been impossible to get any help from HP. I am now left with a broken laptop, that will cost me aprox £600 to fix. This is the first and last HP laptop I will ever buy, they do not care about their customers and I strongly advise everyone to stay away from HP laptops.

I purchased a small HP Deskjet through a major retailer. I also purchased printer ink cartridges from there as well. I don't normally print a lot but needed something especially for my son who is currently in high school. I probably should have thought twice about how much I was planning to print, but I decided to take the monthly subscription that sends you paper and ink as needed. As an incentive, the first 6 months of the subscription was minimal, then I saw it jump to about $6.50 a month! I had recently just changed the black ink cartridge to one that was sent to me by HP. HUGE MISTAKE to use my ink cartridges first as apparently their ink cartridges have a chip. When I called to cancel as I do not print enough to pay $6.50 a month, it automatically also 'stopped' the cartridges from working! So unless you plan to print a lot, I discourage you from this subscription. Or, at least do not buy your own ink cartridges and use them prior to using the ones they send you. Because of this 'chip' in the ink cartridge, I paid all these months only to have to now go buy new ink cartridges. Definitely a rip off for people like me that do not print much.

6055e printer hostage

Bought printer believing I could buy my own ink. WRONG! Unless you stay signed up for their service plan, the printer will have to be reinstalled EVERYTIME you change it. And now it will not even work. Service kept telling me 'if you sign up you won't have this problem." After 10 minutes of run arounds and previously 1 hour, I am done and WILL NEVER BUY OR USE AN HP product again! HP, you will no longer hold this customer hostage! I am buying an Epson today!

Horrible products

I purchased hp laptop no where to find help. I called walmart and they have terrible customer service at mechancisburg, pa supercenter, its just alittle over a year and laptop is completely down wont even turn on. Tried hp and if i don't have warranty they won't help you. UGH UGH UGH dont buy hp laptop and don't buy any at walmart

I bought a hp printer with year supply of ink. Printer it self is okay nothing to Bragg about. Very hard to work. Not simple like I had it before. But ink supply thru HP is a biggest scam. They will charge you every single month but will not send you ink. You will end up spending more for the ink in store with their bogus plan.
FOLKS: do not buy the product. It is not what it was before. There are better printer quality and also most importantly have better customer service. People that answer the phones barely speak English and most of the time do not understand what you are asking them.
HORRIBLE PRODUCTS AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

HP has terrible customer service. I have an HP M209dwe which has very little use. When I ran into a problem only one month after the warrantee expired, they would not even attempt any help without charging me. I will never purchase another HP product. I should have listened to the reviews before I purchased this product as there were lots of bad reviews. How bad can they really be... Well I found out for myself that they are terrible. DO NOT PURCHASE AN HP PRODUCT!

I WISH

I wish that I had seen this hp site 30 days ago. I just replaced a cheap Canon Printer with this new high priced hp OFFICE JET PRO printer. Purchased on 08/25/22 from Best Buy Customer Service PIN *******946 *******. THAT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. My old cheap Canon printer was FAR SUPERIOR than this piece of crap. I have had nothing but trouble with it and it is less that 30 days old.
30% of the time it will not work. N E V E R B U Y HP because you WILL regret it.

I am Priyanka Naik. I buy HP laptop in the month of January 2017 and now my warranty overs in this month. HP company under warranty can't give good services to the costumer. My laptop have white Spots on the display and I called to the HP customer care and I told them that my laptop have screen defects. They told me that its not cover under normal warranty. I told them that you people take my laptop back, I donate my laptop free for your company. I don't want such type of defective laptop. They people send me Rs 11,000 quotation on my email id to repair my laptop. They people chit to the customers and doing profit to their company. I did big mistake from buying this laptop. Friends please don't buy HP laptop go for other brand. HP company people's are chiters and I hate HP company.

I have been a faithful HP printer consumer/user for over 30 years. Recently the last 2 experiences purchased have been less than satisfactory. The first (a do-all deskjet printer), it was a piece of junk. Rarely worked, created a top-to-bottom line for all scanned pages, then just crapped out. This was less than 2 years after purchase. My first HP printer last 20 years! (I have had multiple over time; professionally and personally)
Most recently this is the last straw. NOW to scan documents you MUST create an account with HP and provide personal information or HP will not allow access to the features purchased on their printer/scanner. Since when did it become necessary after laying down cash to purchase an appliance that it cannot be used until personal information is provided to the manufacturer?! Do HP printer purchases now become equivalent to a gun purchase?!
HP, this is the last purchase from your company I will make. I will take this HP5258 crap outside and destroy it. Then, purchase a printer from a consumer friendly manufacturer.

Ridiculous customer service. I bought a pc with about 2 months delay and when it got here they built it with the wrong specs then what I orderd so I asked for a partial refund or shipment of the correct parts and they asked me to file a return requests... as in if my request is denied I need to keep tis pc with wrong specs for which I paid full price for. THIS SOME BULLSH*T. HP U A**

They refuse to help you if you call customer service and their software updates literally lock you out of your own BIOS do not waste your money they hate their own customers 100 percent and will force you to pay for help.

Their customer service is absolute garbage. I am beyond disappointed in HP. They used to stand for quality. I have numerous laptops and a printer and after the two, most recent AWFUL HP experiences, I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER purchase another HP product again! They now outsource their "customer service" to India and the Philippines. They keep getting information wrong, misinforming and transferring you to the WRONG department. I was on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes after getting transferred and no one EVER picked up. HP is a disgrace and a joke, now. Stay away from this brand.

Worst service ever
They will stop your subscription for ink for $4.32 which is crazy because my bill was not due till August but they want me to pay in July when the bill is not due which is bad business for all consumers. Do not subscribe to an ink subscription from this company or you will be sorry. From now on I'll just go to Staples and buy my own ink

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

HP NOTEBOOK NEVER DROPPED NEVER ABUSED. USED IN HOME IN A/C PART TIME. SCREEN WENT HALF BLANK IN 13 MONTHS. $650. DOWN THE DRAIN. MANY MANY BAD REVIEWS ON HP PRODUCTS. DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS. My teenage daughter purchased a laptop directly from HP as they offer a student discount, we live in Melbourne Australia. After paying $1000 after the discount she was delivered a laptop that does not work. After speaking to their tech department twice without resolution I had to step in. They refused to replace the laptop and organised for a courier to pick it up to be serviced. Only when the labels arrived did we find that it was being taken to Singapore, nowhere in Australia. Who knows how long it will be till it's returned and she needs it for uni.
It took long phone calls and threats just to get any sort of service or assistance form this company which I think may be located in India. Don't rely on just their name and assume you are safe in buying something from them as they are such a big company. I have never been so angry trying to deal with a company before.
Students beware, I know they are advertising with unidays and some other big names. If something is wrong help it is very difficult. Go to a store and consider a different brand.

Useless and annoying
