Hoverround sux

Please don't get a hoverround from these people... they are not into helping the elderly/ disabled. You'll be dead long before you ever see any chair, believe it!!!

Their ability to deliver needs a major improvement! Many calls made and still no chair! The only chair they produce is a musical chair!

THE HOVEROUND REPRESENTATIVE WAS SO POLITE TO ME &
VERY PATIENT AS WELL. SHE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT WHEN I EXPLAINED TO HER WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO MY CHAIR & SHE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT I NEED. SHE CALLED MY DR. RIGHT AWAY, & GOT ME AN APPT. WITH MY DR. ON APRIL 9TH 2019. I WAS SO PLEASED WITH HER. IM HAPPY I GET TO GET MY NEW CHAIR, BECAUSE I NEED IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. MINE IS BROKEN AND IS OUT DATED. I am a 71 year old woman with chronic COPD, Hip Surgery May 15 of this year and still can't walk long or stand over 10 mins. I am stuck inside with severe pain and have so much painful trips to even the Dr. Using just my walker is not helping. My Dr. faxed over his approval for a chair and we had our 1 on 1 visit as told by the Hoveround agent we much have. As I left his office my husband got a call from Hoveround saying my Anthem BCBS would not cover their part. We are on a fixed income with SS and my bills are so high. I am expecting another hip surgery with this time a complete hip replacement but before that I may have to have a surgery to put my bladder up. I live a life of pain and falls. I can't function and just need to go outside for fresh air but I needed this chair for inside my home. I have not been able to find anywhere to get a chair. Everywhere I have tried either had to have $ up front or were
Found out to be scams. Hoveround let me down. Now I can only function maybe 20 mins out of an hour.
And this is my life now. I don't need a chair just to make life easier. I need a chair to live my life the best I can. Dorothy Chambless

Not happy!

New chair was delivered last week. NOT HAPPY with it! Seat padding is practically nonexistent! Tires are thinner, smaller. Feel every bump! Plus, they're NOISY! The control arm keeps getting stuck when trying to raise & lower. Delivery guy said the front of the seat couldn't be raised-feels like I'm going to fall out of it! The back of the chair angle leans too far back-kills my lower back! The angle of the foot plate can't be raised. Entire chair tilts forward when leaning over to pick something up-feels like the chair is going to tip over on me! Have used Hoveround for the past 13 years & have been, for the most part, pleased. Also, 1 of the tires got a flat-took over 2 months to get a replacement! The technician I'd had in the past, Doug?, was awesome! This past guy acted like he couldn't get out the door fast enough. Since this chair has wheel covers, the foot plate area is smaller, but i have to spread my feet wider to get out of it. Feels like im fixing to do a split! Also, feels like the seat is leaning to the right...? And, this chair is 4-5 inches lower to the ground making my reach for things, (countertop, faucets, stove dials, etc.) Would REALLY LIKE 1 LIKE I HAD BEFORE! The Technique XL. Was WAY more satisfied with that style. To be fair, I've had this new 1 for a week to TRY to adapt to it. DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL! PLEASE REPLACE IT with the bigger, BETTER, chair!

Hoverround is WORTHLESS

Hover round made me appointment I got to Drs office and was told they couldn't do the evalulation. A wasted trip to Dr office called Hover round They told me they only do power wheel chairs for inside home and I had asked for mobility scooter before they made the appointment for evalulation Hoverround says they don't have contract with medicare for mobility scooters SO HOVEROUND IS TOTALLY WORTHLESS I DO NOT WANT ANYMORE CALLS FROM YOU I will not recommend to anyone

I tried to get a hoverround scooter. I had an assessment done with my doctor. Something wasn't right with my paperwork. They leave me a message that they can't help me because there's a problem with my paperwork. I get my doctor to fix it. I call to see what's going on. They don't have my doctors assessment anymore. So I have my doctor send it again. Something else is wrong with my paperwork. I have my doctor fix it. I call again to see what's going on. Once again, they no longer have my assessment from my doctor. I have my doctor send it again. Something else is wrong. I have my doctor fix it. I call to check on my status. Once again, they say they don't have my doctors assessment. So apparently everytime they have a problem with your paperwork, instead of hanging on to the paperwork to be corrected, they just delete you out of their system. My doctor has better things to do than to keep sending assessments to these people. You all are incompetent! I found another company that's much more helpful. And don't bother answering my review because I don't want to hear how you can help me. You had your chance 3 times to help me and you didn't because your people are incompetent. People that are trying to get a motorized chair really need it. You are less than helpful.
